Lastly, Her Lordship Justice Afia Serwah Asare Botwie only advises the AG Godfred Yeboah Odame to recuse himself from the ambulances case. Nowhere did she order the AG Godfred Yeboah Odame to stay out of the case.

These are some of the reasons why the ndc loose even in government. A case that has travelled for over 2 years they have call soo many witnesses already, and you are saying that because of a mere conversation that had no impact on the case, we should throw the case away? The attorney general is a lawyer, and the best body that can determine the conduct of the attorney general is the general legal counsel, not the High Court. I'm surprised this escaped the ndc legal team.
So you can’t understand simple explanations from the honorable judge? If the AG has misconducted himself, why should it affect the facts of the case that has lasted 2years?
This case would have been thrown out here in the western world after the AG who is persecuting the accused is caught engaging the very accused person out of court. Only in Africa, only in Ghana.
@@franciskelly7385 first of all, this is nothing but a witch hunt. But even if we should assume Ato Forson is a criminal which he hasn’t been convicted anyway. A competent legal jurisdiction will call this a mistrial if the AG is caught on tape asking the accused to go and take doctors note and present to the court. This is perjury under the law and will be definitely seen as a mistrial.
I know in Ghana, mistrials doesn’t happen. Infact I’ve never heard a mistrail ever happened in any Ghanaian court so is very understandable if some people don’t get. Asking an accused to perform perjury in court by a whole AG, only in Ghana.
It is only in Ghana that the people's money can be misused and the people themselves are crying for the release of the criminal! What a shame! No matter which government in power we have we all should support the fight against corruption.
Fight against. All the politicians would have been in jail by now if Ghana was fighting corruption. Are they interested in retreaving the lost money? Why would AG want to leave Jakpa but prosecute Ato forson alone? Banana Republic.
It is in fact true that those words came from Jakpa. But the AG did not correct him on that if that is not what he wanted. The AG was however quick to correct Jakpa to go for the medical forms himself, and not him. At least, the AG was well aware of whatever was happening in the conversation. So if one party expresses a feeling or fact, and the other does not correct the fact, ...The AG was also "presumptuous" or "prejudice" to tell Jakpa that doing that does not implicate Jakpa if he goes by that narrative. We hope to see victory.
