I am 72 and have been taking AG1 for a month. I spent most of 2022 fighting colon cancer ……chemo, etc. I have Celiacs disease with constipation. Post chemo my immune system and energy level was toast. I also needed medication to maintain a daily bowel movement. Since taking AG1 my energy level has definitely increased. I am experiencing two bowel movements daily. Overall I feel great. I just had my one year colonoscopy and my G.I. Doc said whatever you are doing………keep doing it. I’m excited to see how I feel six months from now.
@@ahmadhusayn539 …because I had to go off of it for several days for another colonoscopy and I needed miralax afterwards. When I restarted AG1 my BMs became regular again. Don’t really care what anyone thinks. My energy level and GI tract are doing well.
I've been taking AG1 for about four months and have noticed a couple of differences. My waking blood glucose levels are noticeably lower. I check my levels every morning and have done so for years and the improvement seems correlated with starting AG1. The other difference is an uptick in deep sleep. Over the past year, I averaged about 1.5 hours of deep sleep and that has gone up to 2 hours a night since starting AG1.
@@eatonhn’t drink caffeine or alcohol in the afternoon, evening, night. An hour or so before bed, try to dim any lights , particularly leds, and try to only light up the room from below, not above. Something like this. There might be a few other things but these are the two i remember
Good vid! I did AG for 6 months. I opted to switch to Strong Greens and Strong Reds from BPN. It saved some money, tastes better and honestly… from a gut health standpoint, I feel better than I did with AG. Give ‘em a shot. Maybe a comparison vid of the two after some time with the BPN powders? 🤷🏻♂️
I have ordered 2 packs of AG1 after seeing this video and did some research, they are reviewed and are ranked on the top by many top journalists. Bare Performance Nutrients unfortunately aren't anywhere. Many people also does not review that.
@@awesomebrotherhood7698 BPN is pretty well-known in the industry. 90 seconds or less of searching will show BPN strong greens and reds, along with their other supplements. Not only that, but Nick Bare, the CEO of BPN, uses these supplements himself for marathons, ultra marathons, Ironmans, and his own weightlifting goals. No need to put down other supplements, especially if you haven’t tried it. Try each out and use what works best for you.
Wife and I have been taking it daily for going on 5 months. We love it and it has lived up to the hype. Will say that dr. Huberman has been a great guide to additional things to enhance life. From behavior to supplements to just the science of maximizing the human experience.
Great honest review! I appreciate the No -sponsored honest thoughts! I’ve taken a super food grass type drink before too. I’m not sold on the results yet. AG1 is expensive!
My dad has had a lot of debilitating health issues for the past 10 years or so. I bought him AG-1 months ago after seeing HUNDREDS of reviews from different content creators (all sponsored 🤦♀️😂)... He truly feels so much better since taking it. He even says there's days where he feels better than he did 10+ years ago before his health complications started. Suggestion for anyone that can't handle the taste/texture.. He hated it. I bought empty vegan capsules & encapsulated it. It works exactly the same, for him anyway. No more bad taste/texture. ☺️
Great suggestion. My concern is the sweetness most products add like stevia. Stevia hurts my stomach. Apparently I’m allergic to it and it’s in everything “natural”.
Wouldn't you have to take quite a few capsules to equal one scoop? I don't like the taste either but I consider it like medicine.. I don't have to like the taste to be able to swallow it.
I’ve been taking AG1 for probably 3 weeks now and there is definitely an energy boost for me after taking it each morning. One thing I noticed is that I don’t need a coffee first thing in the morning with breakfast as the craving just went away which was good. Overall I am feeling better, plus knowing that I have my vitamins etc covered each day. It is expensive but I figured my health is worth it, and will try for at least 3 months and decide if I continue from there. I’m one of the few it seems that actually like the taste and the texture of the drink and definitely look forward to it each morning. I never forget to take it, as I would with other supplements.
I have also found my coffee cravings gone since I started taking it. I usually had a big coffee in the morning, but AG1 seems to have replaced it and I think it actually gives me more energy than the coffee did.
Ha ha... my daughter got me a bag of this for xmas. Day 4, no complaints, but did get a case of the runs on first use a few hours later....kinda sorta expected that, all greeny looking water, lol. Then, I have 2 or 3 coffees with 10g collagen, lol coffee is my only bad addiction and not giving it up. Not sure if this is worth the HUGE monthly expense.
@@BloozguyI'm raising my cafetiere to you! I don't want to try AG-1 if there's a risk it will remove my desire for coffee 🤗 Coffee WITH collagen? Perhaps I'll give that a go?
@@irenemax3574 Ha ha. Never fear. Your caffeine desires are safe..collagen coffees are the bomb! But I drink mine black, and use plain collagen from Organika....it's quite the morning boost indeed ☕
I have been using this for 7 months now and will continue using this. The main reason is the unintended consequence of a problem I’ve had that’s seems to have resolved. I have suffered from esophageal strictures for about ten years, I began to notice less and less frequent issues eating and have been problem free for six months. I also was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 7 years ago. I haven’t been the best with medication compliance and expected my lab work to be bad, well I was within normal limits and I feel good. Crazy stuff.
I have been using AG1 for a few months and enjoy the benefits I get. The most important affect for me was all day energy. I start work at 6am and no longer have any issue getting through the day and ready to do something after work which wasn't so before I started taking it. Could get the same affect from something cheaper but I also have grown fond of the flavor and the morning ritual of taking it so I'll continue till I learn something that gives me other options.
@@visceraeyes525 I’m going to start taking AG1 and see if it truly gives me sustained energy throughout the day. I’m very in tune with my body and know if something will noticeably give me benefits or not. I have taken products in the past claimed by most reviewers to give you “energy” where ultimately it was complete BS. If it does what it claims I’ll be the first to admit it.
@@visceraeyes525if it’s truly a placebo, how do you explain the thousands of testimonies from patients of doctors who have seen significant increases in gut health and other positive effects
Did absolutely nothing for me. But I don't believe everything a influencer is getting paid to advise me and I noticed most of the ingredients are pretty underdosed.
Mix it will Orange Juice, let it hydrate for 5 to 10 minutes . it's much better. 6 months of usage. I'm 65 yrs old and need to improve my gut health. It did what I expected. You are correct is does cost is high. I would think that $40. per month would be better. My resting heart rate is 58. Before it was 75.
I’m a couple months in , fixed my stomach issues in the morning . Don’t wake up all crampy , also fixed my skin stopped breaking out. I’d say I notice a difference
I’m about a month into AG1 and pretty much agree with everything you said. Thanks for confirming my…suspicions? I think the key to any good placebo is the intention behind it. This one makes me feel like I’m doing something good - whether I can prove the outcome or not 😅
Great video! Appreciate your honesty. You're always going to pay more when someone does something for you. Like preparing the foods, like AG1, that we need. I really like it & I'm saving $ on the supplements I used to take. I don't smoke or drink anymore, so I'm saving $! I do have more energy and focus. ❤
@@thisaccounthasbeensuspended I’ll start by saying I think it works well and it tastes good. Reading the pamphlet it comes with, it shows they’re in a continuous improvement model, and this iteration is number 52, so be cautious of the really old reviews because that iteration may not have tasted as good. A company that’s in ongoing improvement of their product is using the premium you pay for it to make sure their product is solid with good R&D. I’ve been taking it for two weeks and quit taking my multivitamin since AG1 technically has most of the same vitamins, if not more. I primarily like it because it doesn’t make me feel weird or give tummy troubles, and I definitely have had a life of stomach issues. This sits really well with me and I don’t think about it after consuming it. No weird aftertaste, and I don’t burp anything up. In two more weeks, I’ll provide more updates. What happened with me when I ordered the 30-day pouch is I wasn’t getting it when expected (I paid the lowest for shipping) and on day four, their automated system sent me an email acknowledging it was taking a long time and offered me a free five pack for my next order. Then it took longer, so I simply opened their chat on their site and said “my package still hasn’t arrived, it looks like it’s sitting at my local shipping facility.” They replied with “it looks like it got lost, let me refund your shipping.” But they didn’t stop there; they then sent me a screenshot of them sending me an overnight pouch and a free 5 pack. When I received it, they sent me a 30-day pouch and 2 5 packs. Still didn’t stop there….they then found the original order and shipped it. So I got a 30-day plus another 30-day, plus two 5 packs, and I have a voucher for another free 5 pack on my next order. I didn’t ask for all that; they decided right off the bat that’s what they wanted to do. So they have excellent customer service.
I have been using it for weeks. The biggest improvement is my depression. Some days I miss work because it, and I haven’t missed a day since I have taken it.
Thank you for the honesty. You were very informative and unbiased. I'm going to give it a try for 2 months as well and journal how I feel. I want to do AG1 with a little caffiene in it to replace my morning coffee.
@Landen Emch going great. I do it every morning with a little nucaffiene (some liquid caffeine I picked up on Amazon) and I dropped my coffee completely. I feel much better in the mornings but it didn’t really kick in for me until week 2.
Thanks for the review! I just ordered AG1 and I'm combing thru reviews to see what I might expect based on real-world use cases such as yours. Thanks also for the honesty and not doing a sponsored video. I've heard the taste is rough but I'm also one of those who actually enjoys wheatgrass shots so yeah, I'm weird. The cost is ridiculious though... (gotta pay for all their marketing somehow) I currently spend a little less than this per month on the handful (literally a hand full) of pills and capsules I take for vitamins and supplements in the mornings. I already have to take a fair amount in the way of Rx stuff every day so the fewer pills I have to swallow the better. I'll give this stuff a go but I might just line it up against a comparable, but cheaper option for a head-to-head. The only reason I am willing to give AG1 a shot is the 60 money-back guarantee. That *should give me enough time to try it out and maybe try out a competitor before committing. Of course, an objective review is really hard because we all have different chemistry and you did say you weren't getting your blood run at the lab (nor should you have for a 10 min YT review). This really comes down to a try & see for each person. If the user can tolerate the taste & the cost, plus they see/feel a benefit then it might be worth it to them. Totally case-by-case. Thanks agains for the review!
@ so far so good. I do feel better and I notice some difference on the days I don't use it. Certainly not a miracle substance, but it has helped my overall health as one might expect from a multivitamin/multi-mineral & probiotic supplement. I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive... (It helps just enough now to justify its cost, but that's not to say I wouldn't trim it from the budget if/when they increase the price)
It's pretty nice with coconut water, I've been taking it for 6months and I travel a lot with it, allowed me to take almost no supplements with me and I have serious health conditions and it helps with inflammation, digestive health, immune system and cravings.
@@tcmazz I have MS, I’m disabled partially blind with, muscles spasm, cramps, neurological pain and inflammation and serious nerve damage… It helps to keep inflammation down, I do take magnesium ginger and tumeric and I do switch my green/red powders and my vegetables but I really like this one on the go… I train/swim and move around a lot summer time and it keeps my skin, digestion and hair healthy too …
I love this stuff. Taste was the exact same to me. I think my body likes it which in turn made me adapt to the taste and enjoy it now. It also keeps the 💩 on the reg ,and like you said less bloated. I have used BPN and it wasn’t the same. Not sure why. Maybe placebo
I’ve been using it for about a week now and I have to say I’m enjoying it a lot so far. It tastes pretty great especially with a splash of hemp or oat milk! Plus I’m a server and when I’m not working I’m kinda just laying around and before AG1 I’d wake up around 4/5 am and fall asleep by 9pm at the latest but since starting AG1 I’ve been finding myself waking up at 4/5 naturally and ready and after work I still have energy to go shopping or out with my partner and I’ve been falling asleep around 11/12 as of late and feeling more energized than I have in a while. I can’t attest to the genuine health affects yet but it definitely helps your energy and motivation through the day!
Are you still taking it and if so, how is it going? I am also a server, I wake up at 7am and work 9am-5pm. Like you (before you started AG1) after work, I find myself just lying around. Like I seriously can’t wait to get home from work, shower, and get off my feet. I NEVER want to do anything or go anywhere after work. I used to have the best memory but I notice now my memory has gotten terrible, which as you know, is not good for a server lol. I used to be able to take orders without writing them down, but I wouldn’t dare risk doing that now. Even if it’s just 2 beverage orders, I’ll write it down. Was wondering if you’re still taking it and if it’s having the same effect as when you made this comment. Also, has it done anything for your skin?
Fascinating! I’m on week 3 of AG1 and I this morning I noticed my resting heart rate has also gone down, but I didn’t know why. (And I’m not training like I had been in the past). Also, my digestion is uh, more efficient.
I just got AG1 today and I really like the flavor of it, but then again I drink Matcha Green Tea cold and that can be grassy tasting. The Vitamin D dropper they included with my order is a year's supply. AG1 it way less gritty than Amazing Grass, that I tried for a few months. But yeah, it's expensive and you have to wait at least 30 minutes before drinking anything with caffeine in it.
Thanks for the review, I appreciate you sharing your experience with this type of supplement product. And yes I agree, the experience will vary depending on each individual's life style and fitness habits. However, the information you provided was very useful! 😀
Great vid! I personally only take it 3-4 times a week just to save a bit of money. It’s definitely worth it for me and have noticed a big difference when I’m on it and off it for a long period.
I like your honest review. I think the ingredients listed can be found in foods and for way less of the asking price. But if it works for you then that's all that counts.
Absolutely. I think the idea here is that they're taking the guess work out of diet/nutrition and just making it a one-stop solution for those that don't want to learn.
Thanks Dave, well done. I have gone on, off and on with AG1. When I tried other supplements the nutrient count was much lower, so it seemed like I was getting less for less. I like that AG1 is organic and 3rd party tested, and like you it feels like a good morning ritual. And I have been sick once in a year. But dang the price!
Thanks for making this video CtS :) I think the healthier you eat/live and how fit you are, will have a big influence on, how much AG1 (or any other similar product) - do for your body :) You being much above average, didn't get a huge difference, witch actually makes sense I.M.O. :) I think I´m gonna try 1 month, since I never really got back in shape after the C....nineteen shutdown of the Gyms ect, plus I´m 57y old, so I´ll probably benefit a lot more :D So thanks again, even though you couldn't make a definite conclusion 👍
I started using AG1 in January and have been doing well on it ever since. One thing that I can attribute to it for sure is skin health. I had fingers that were always dry, cracked, and often bled. Nothing has ever worked at clearing that up, but after a month or so of AG1, that is gone. That could just be the Biotin, but at this point, I'm not interested in rocking the boat! Got my fingers back!! I am a runner and a cyclist. My overall fitness has not improved while on AG1, although I did run 2 half marathons this year, something I haven't done in over 2 years.
@@ChaseTheSummit There is supplements like this in australia that have the same ingredients and cost about $40 AUD . Think this is just overhyped to be honest.
I just start taking AG1 this week its the first green drink that I don't mind the taste, I have tried many and just could handle the taste. Time will tell if its worth the cost.
This was very helpful. I listened to this with my wife. We have heard a lot of hype about this stuff. But we've been looking for some independent reviews. And pretty much your analysis is similar to what we are seeing across-the-board. It seems like it doesn't hurt to try it or to use it. However it doesn't seem to provide any additional or incremental benefit either.
I appreciate the tone and content of this video. You don't have bloodwork analysis to be conclusive about how AG1 performed for you and to conclude with, "no conclusive opinion" is fair. At the same time you tried it and so your experience so far is valid.
Would definitely be interested in another video if you continue to take it. I've been talking it for a few days nows in hope it will help my energy levels and mind fog
@@ChaseTheSummitI’m wondering if you are still using AG-1 . Probably the main reason I’m interested is at the age of 72 I take a variety of supplements including a green protein powder that together adds up much more than AG 1 per month. So in the interest of saving money I’m considering it . I realize this video is a couple years old but it’s hard to find a review of it that is unsponsored and has actually used the product. Thanks !
@@TheHuester44 I’m still using it and still paying for it out of my own pocket but my opinion on it hasn’t changed. It’s hard to say if it’s benefiting me or not but I like the habit and it “feels” healthy!
Ahah I loved your review and honestly I would have had the same conclusion. Been taking it for about 2 months as well and the taste definitely grew on me, I wouldn’t imagine a day without it now. I’m a big believer in supplementation and I use to take the Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s list of supplements every morning but it’s like 10 pills to swallow and I felt like a sick person needing its medication. Now I feel almost the same effects but with a subjectively healthier routine. Price wise, I don’t think it’s more expensive that taking all that stuff separately (especially all the “nootropics”). Also, I’m not a doctor but I wouldn’t recommend taking cheap supplements as it’s most probably made from less qualitative/bio available stuff and can even contain harmful substances (pesticides, heavy metals,…).
Thanks for sharing! This stuff is so hard to quantify the effects of since you can't really A/B test the same exact day, diet, etc... For me though, I do feel SOMETHING I just don't know if it's AG1 or my lifestyle improvements. Like I said though, I like the taste and it seems like a healthy habit so I'll probably keep using it!
@@ChaseTheSummit honest reviews normally cause some division 😅 Your opinion is just your opinion at the end of the day and I personally found it very helpful 👍
Great review. I'm taking a cheaper one after a lot of research. I can't notice any diff. I've started trying to eat more fruit, and I super notice a diff from that. Also more salads. I'll be doing that after my green powder container is gone.
Great video man,,thank you....I'm current for the last 2 weeks started out with...1 8 to 10 Oz glass of Luke warm water.....2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 scoop of Amazing Grass super greens.....and I felt Amazing and yes more energy.....
Thanks for sharing your review! I've been drinking AG 1 for about a year now and just got my bf started on it after he began having seizures a few weeks ago. My blood labs have been good, considering I'm on the heavy side and also feel more energetic. I was struggling with fatigue which is why I started taking it to begin with. I have a bad knee and wish I could run like you do! Great non-biased review!
I just started taking AG1 and I didn’t care for the taste mixed with water but I’ve started making smoothies with it adding a mix of Apples, Bananas, Berries, Honey, Chia Seeds, ice and water, much better taste as a smoothie. I have found that my body isn’t as gaseous as it was before taking AG1, so the prebiotic and probiotics are working. I’ve also found my overall all energy seems to be good, before taking it I was feeling a bit lethargic.
It’s vegetable powder/vitamins. It’s not drugs like caffeine or speed. You’re not going to feel A to B. It’s a supplement for optimal health. Like taking a multivitamin, it’s not going to be a crazy noticeable feeling difference.
I took ag1 for 7 months. Very expensive but felt better daily. Like you not sure if it was in my head or actually did something for me. I’ve tried other stuff similar to it but not quite the same feeling. Decided to give it another go and see if it truly made a difference. Honestly it can’t hurt but yeah very expensive.
This might sound crazy, and it might be...but I have noticed AG1 helps with my headaches. I was getting headaches 1-2 times a week, and i would take an Advil, lay on a heat pad and be done for the day. I started taking AG1 without even thinking about the headaches, and noticed they almost completely stopped. When I stop taking it for a week or more they come back. I have no idea if there is any real connection. That being said, I am so much better off without the headaches. So for me it's worth every penny
Maybe if you are taking it first thing in the morning, maybe it’s helping with dehydration. It does contain some salt along with drinking the water, it could help with retention.
I’m going to try it for a month to see if it helps with the gut health. The best things I have taken for supplements so far has been urolithin A, creatine, and magnesium but I’m in my mid 50’s and those are things that get depleted with age.
I used this for almost 2 years absolutely LOVED IT. Gave me energy, was easy to use, loved the taste and how I felt. Then on 1/2/24, 10 mins after drinking it caused severe cramps, nausea, the feeling of "evacuating at BOTH ends". At that moment I never thought it was AG1, just assumed it was something I ate the day before. The next morning I did my normal routine, mixed it drank AG1 and again, cramps, nausea within 10 mins. I called them, asking if there was a medical dept., they have one. Their rep told me to discontinue use immediately and yes some people develop a reaction after prolonged use. I never did get sick in anyway it just FELT like it was going to happen. All those reactions subsided within 20-30 mins. I am so annoyed, because AG1 honestly worked for me, Ive told family and friends how great it is. Now I have to warn them and go back to pill form supplements that never give the same "pep". Ive stopped for 2 days straight but I may try one last dose, "3 strikes youre out" is a solid rule. Will update if I do. 🤞
I have used Ag1 for a year. Very impressive starter kit. i just canceled it, simply cant afford it. I did notice a difference at first but not any longer. Also the drops are a year supply in the little bottle, just one drop a day. If I win the lottery I will get back on it. Chances are low since I dont buy the tickets :)
I'm on day (3) of talking AG1. ....finally bought in it after I saw Hybrid Calisthenics do a non-sponsored review.... Long story short, I took (2) doses first day, and the next morning I woke up with my tonsils and throat ( I get strep easily) less than half as inflamed as it was all the day prior. And normally I struggle to get up in the morning, but the last (3) days ive been up and moving right after I wake up. its something that i never thought about until now.
I take a lot of dietary supplements (around 10 capsules/tablets daily) which add up to about £10 a day. I added AG1 to my daily routine last week; the main thing that puts me off is the taste. It smells and tastes awful and makes me gag every time. I'm lactose intolerant and I've tried blending it in soy milk, oat milk, fruit juice, etc. It still smells very fishy and garlic when I have it near my nose. And still tastes like a raw egg blended drink. I had to give it away to a friend who doesn't mind the smell/taste. Can't say that I feel any positive or negative effects after taking it for one week.
Bro your water temp in your dishwasher must be insane I throw in 2 bottles for me and my son everyday in the dishwasher and have never had that issue..The taste is wicked compared to other shit lol if you don't like it just throw a few drops of stevia in in lol..I have had blood work done before and after and it 100% helps with many of the ingredients. It is unique because where the ingredients come from is a nutrient dense volcanic rich earth New Zealand, and that is enough to separate it from all other greens.
Just had my first dose this morning. I hate green drinks, so once mixed, it looked revolting to me... but I was very surprised that it actually tastes decent.
2 weeks later, still like the taste. And it mixes very easily compared to other kinds of powders (eg. protein) which make it very quick to prepare and drink. I can't say that I see very obvious and conclusive signs of improvement that couldn't be attributed to the placebo effect, but I definitely feel fine.
Something I’ve noticed all the reviews speaking about is just the vitamins and minerals! If you look at all the supplement products out there, every dose of vitamins and minerals are pretty much similar to each other. A lot of the reviewers don’t focus on the other half of the ingredients cause either they can’t pronounce it or they never research about it. I did a lot of digging into the other half and I did not find any other product that had all of the ingredients together in one proprietary blend as AG1 does. All the ingredients in ag1 are split in 10 different products which makes this convenient. Also Something to keep in mind is all these products are meant for the long run of your body to stay healthy not something that’s gonna change in a day or two. The goal is not for your mind to feel good but rather your body to work in a healthy way for a long time. Btw I haven’t used the product as of yet but just an analysis from the research I’m doing to see if it’s actually worth the price to buy.
Dude I mix it with limes, 1 teaspoon of Metamucil, 2 teaspoons of Olive oil oil, 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar. Mix real well and down the hatch then take my 2 mile walk. I have dropped weight from 210 to 185, I am now skin and bones 🦴 seriously 😐.
I just started taking this, the price is very expensive but how important is your health? I think if it does what they claim a healthier gut and body then it’s worth it. Also the other products that are cheaper are more than likely are not sourcing their vitamins from the non gmo organic products that go into the mix. I’ve been taking it for a few days and can say I have more energy and focus after I take it in the morning. Beyond that I’ll have to wait and see what the long term benefits are and if it’s worth it or not.
It does sound as though all thats needed is a balanced diet which includes vegetables because we all know veg is good for us and liquidised still makes it just as good. So personally if you prefer having veg in a drink, then drink them instead. Don't over ear. Take regular exercise if lifestyle allows, reduce fat and get rest when you feel you need it. There are somethings veg can't help.
You can't really compare the price of supplements across the board like that. Just at a quick glance, AG1 uses magnesium glycinate vs magnesium oxide that BPN uses. At the end of the day it doesn't necessarily mean it's worse if you don't need the additional bioavailability but it does make me immediately question the quality and sourcing of the ingredients.
I tried it and it definitely helped with my gut health in terms of not feeling bloated. Every person will react differently so you need to see what works for you. There are definitely less expensive options and a good pro biotic will have the same effect.
Seriously don't buy Ag1 until you have a good talk to a professional dietitian, it has 400% vitamin C and that's absorbing all nutrition, I found out I had the 'celt gen called Hemochromatosis, I was told to immediately stop taking it along with huel, as huel has to much Iron and the Ag1 was absorbing the iron at 400% more than what my body was, my specialist said if I'd kept taking both I'd very most likely had some form of organ failure, so be very careful, check your health, then make sure it will be vital for health at 100$ a month.
This is generally a helpful review but I honestly haven't heard of a picky eater/drinker sticking through daily consumption of a supplement that they don't absolutely love the taste of.
Amazing Grass has an organic green blend with cocoa that is awesome! Tastes better, great for keeping blood sugar in control, and half the price of AG1
The Ag1 is ok but I’ve had much better results from the Ag2 when it came out and it has a better taste. Ag1 on occasion would upset my stomach that’s when my coach told me to try the 2, so glad he did.
Damn!! I was really gonna try this until I saw...CONTAINS SOY!!! Damn it!! Really athletic greens?!?!???!! SOY?!?!?!?!? SMH.. That right there is such a horrible look as a high end nutritional supplement..
I've finally folded and subscribed to AG1 after seeing all the ads on social media for some time. I am struggling to get into the habit of drinking it everyday because it makes me so bloated/gives me wind colic. Maybe my body will get used to it after a little while so I will persevere for the first month at least. I am currently taking only about a third of a scoop a day.
About40 years ago there was a short lived craze in australia for stuff called “ barley green “, sprouted barley grains and you cut off the green bits ,blended them in water and drank- did not work.
the biggest thing about AG1 i dont like is that for $92 a month they still charge you a large shipping fee! so rude, for that price it should be free shipping
I have been taking AG1 for 2 months, I started noticing my face felt flushed, almost like a light sunburn, then I started getting blotches and itchy red patches on my face, neck, underarms, behind my knees. I didn't know what it was so i kept taking AG1. I finally stopped taking it about a week ago and I still have some problems but it's quickly going away. It's pretty weird, I'm not allergic to anything. I will say I think I did feel better while taking it, with the exception of my skin.
I noticed the same thing too about me. I’m in my 50’s and I noticed that I was extremely gaseous and couldn’t figure out why. Been taking AG1 and all the excessive gas has stopped it’s got to be the prebiotic and probiotics in AG1. It’s working for me.
For anyone who want to up the taste of this.. mix one scoop with coconut almond milk 16 oz… with a teaspoon of matcha powder and one scoop of raw unflavored pea protein and man it taste so good. Don’t forget ice!
I juice my own drink every morning it's kind of a pain but it's worth it , I combine all organic ingredients ,kale, celery hearts, cucumber , half a green apple , half a lemon a small piece of ginger root and half of a red beet , then a tiny splash of liquid splenda , then I toss the juice in a blender with 4 ice cubes made from filtered water of course to make it cold and more refreshing , it gives me a better kick than coffee , and I know it's very good for me ~
@@SoundConstraints actually its the exact opposite I have bloodwork every 3 months since I started juicing my health and energy have improved , I trust my doc at the Cleveland clinic
I try to drink SUJA daily. Cold pressed organic veggie juice seems more fresh for about the same price. Better on greens side, but surely doesn't have half of the other vitamins content..
I appreicate the video. I have been taking specific vitamins on their own for years. I have bottles everywhere and I am going to try and use this as my pre/pro biotic and as a substitute for the majority of my vitamins. I think I will take Vitamin D, Coq10 and selenium outside of this along with possible a more potent B-complex. I'd like to know what you take outside of AG1 if anything.
If you buy these things separately it may be better but you will either do more work sourcing it all yourself or spend more on individual companies; whatever your needs our.
I WOULD LOVE you to review what coming off it and taking nothing feels like because essentially you are making your body addicted to it. which is cool and maybe your diet has a lot of glysophate from the agriculture disturbing your gut?? Coz you should get all nutrients from food if it’s broad enough and you sound pretty healthy? 4 kids would run anyone ragged and you seem to be coping well. I loved the video. Candid subjective. really cool. thx.
I felt heaps of benifits being a very active person don't eat 3 times aday sometimes just have dinner heavy caffeine user. 2 days in felt hungry but for healthy food would make a slard wrap and I don't normally eat salads at all. Went from 2 500ml redbulls aday and a coffee to just a bottle of water no withdrawal. Also went on holiday and didn't smoke the whole time didn't loose my apitite like I normally would slept fine normally can't sleep at all for at least 5 days same as food. Wake up clearer not foggy just get stright into it I just have it every know and then now and feel it's has more benifits then having everyday
