Souk El Had is the biggest souk (market) in Morocco’s city of Agadir. A popular place with locals and tourists alike. Compared to the many sprawling souks around Morocco, Souk El Had is a huge souk with around 6,000 stalls and is surprisingly easy to navigate. Twelve gates lead to the souk, clearly numbered to make it easy to arrange a meeting point and know where you are. However, the crowds and confusion can make some people feel overwhelmed; if so, walk in one direction until you come to an outer door. You can then walk around the outer walls to where you want to go, or take a taxi if you don't want to walk. The stalls are grouped in a fairly organized fashion, which means that if you're interested in buying something, you can head right to a specific gate.
