Yes it has a Military backdrop but this movie is basically the journey of an aimless and directionless person, who does something meaningful with his life after going through some tough situations and transforming himself. Military is just a backdrop for the film. It's more about the character arch. The Name Lakshya clearly suggests that... It means AIM

LAKSHYA is the same Movie which also has the classic ''Main Aisa Kyun hoon'' song which while reacting to it in your first few months you guys failed to realize he was Hrithik.. Directed by Farhan, Chorepgraphed by Prabhudeva this movie is worth anybody's time.. The coming of Age of an aimless individual couldn't have been showcased better and that too in background of a important war story! Watch it guys

What a song... Memories. I used to sing this song A LOT!! and almost everything you said/predicted during this video was correct. Udit Narayan has sung almost every song for SRK in late 90s and early 2000. And Alka Yagnik was also on boom at that time. Udit and Alka have a lot of duos (famous ones). And yes, first half of the movie is about his chilled life and second half: military life. Love this movie ❤️❤️

The movie's name is 'Lakshya" means Aim, obviously this song was when the characters were in college, and Hrithik has not decided to go in military yet. Nice movie.

The movie is Lakshya.. it literally means Aim. The movie is about an aimless college kid who grows up to become a military man and sets the aim to recapture a strategic peak occupied by the Pakistan army during the Kargil war. It's one of the best movies of its time. Must watch for you guys

Yes Korbin, ofcourse, you can go there. This song is shot in 2 location, both in Delhi. First is hauzkhas fort(you visited hauzkhas village during your visit to delhi) and second is Tughlaqabad fort.

You've got to watch this movie...its a good one...brings back so many memories...this was in 2003-04... Only a couple or a few more years before the internet and cell phone revolution...miss this era!! This song was shot in Delhi...Lodhi Garden and Tughlaqabad fort...the fort area was cleaned for this sequence... otherwise its dirty!

Did you forget about the crazy Hrithik dance song where you discovered that it was Hrithik at the end- ‘Main aisa kyun hoon’ .. that’s also from this movie.. probably you felt so stupid after that reaction for not recognise Hrithik that your brain has blocked that reaction out as trauma 😂🤣

One of the best movies of Indian cinema! As usual was not understood my indian audience. Very decent story, decent acting skills, simpler version of any young boy or family. Big Salute Indian Army Officers for their great contribution in keeping our country safe , this movie is dedicated to them. All songs are very beautiful and meaningful. One of the best movies of hrithik ridhaan. I still remember the scene where hrithik talk with his father boman Irani when he went to war, and cries by missing him. Really really heart touching ! I can see this movie as many times.

Basically the story is of a military backdrop but it is first how Hrithik was a carefree little unsmart teen with lack of goals and aims....but something happens and then he has to join the army...and then he transforms and becomes a different man with responsibility,vision,goals,aims....You have to see the full movie to understand this.....

Please watch Lakshya and react.. this is a story of an aimless (read Lakshya-less) rich guy (not really spoilt brat) finding his way in life once he joins Indian Army because one of his friends planned to join the same but didn’t.. not a perfect movie, but amazing performance by Hrithik and this movie has some amazing cinematography and landscapes captured. The last hour of the movie is just awesome. Hrithik was at his restrained best in this, unlike you know Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon.. 😁

The shooting location is Tughlakabad fort, Delhi. The place is a tourist spot, the ruins of King Tughlaq's palace are still there. I used to go to this place when I was a kid.

The shooting area in the first half is hauz khas fort also known as hauz -e-ali fort and the other half has been done in tuglaqabad fort 🤗 basically all in delhi.
