Where can I find one of battery powered sprayer? I'm all about the fore arm workout. But I've been seeing these power sprayers on multiple channels. Maybe it's time for an upgrade.
@@matthewkite5110 so, there are 2 options: a battery powered and a USB water spray bottle. Both have pros and cons. The battery powered one goes through a lot of batteries, but it's easy to put a new set in if it dies. The USB one saves on the cost of batteries, but if it dies, you need a power source to recharge it. Both are available on Amazon. You can search battery operated water bottle and it will come right up....
Mega-WOW! This has to be your best one-day haul yet! EVERY single piece was so unique and breathtaking. I would say that your recon was successful, and that you should definitely put a pin in that spot! Awesome video - thanks!!!!
A new spot, WOW! It seemed like every 10 steps you found an amazing rock. All the treasures laid out before you. Your to just pick up and make some amazing things from them all. Loved all the agates, but the jaspers were terrific. (Jaspers are my friends) stay happy, safe and stay healthy. I didn't see him but woof to Chopper.😷⚒🐕
TSA I'm in love 🥰. I've heard that agates, jasper and chert are similar types of rock. They all can have conchoidal fracture. I think agates can look like a potato 🥔 🤔 skin. You have hawk eye for beauties 😍! New spot is a win!!
I can not believe the awesome rocks you are finding in this hunt, just really beautiful stones ! I am watching this on my big screen tv and it only gets better
Hello there! In a video I watched from Theo Kellison, he recommended to visit your site! Wow 🤩 Do you find amazing rocks ❣️❣️❣️ Thanks to Theo🙏 Sincerely, Mrs. Ott (Grandma’s Shed)
MRM, you just might have found your spot of the year. The variety of rocks & colours o& those pieces is sensational, what an awesome location. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
9:17 Jasp agates like that have to be one of my favorites. Just so cool Edit: and that agatized wood chunk… wow! I only have one piece similar to that. Incredible find
Right! So very blessed!!! I wish I could rockhound like that! I would be the happiest person in the world! I just had to make a huge trip to Michigan just to be able to rockhound on Lake Superior. Couple thousand dollars later 😂😂😂😂
Your petrified wood is different. nice and round. River worn. Our is jagged and I probably don't live from from you. Buffalo Wyoming. I find it interesting.
I'm so jealous! All those beautiful rocks. I can't even pick one that would be a favorite. But at 9:36? The jasper moss white is a magnificent rock. I definitely will be going to Yellowstone river next summer. No rock hunting for me this last summer I had back surgery. Have missed looking for rocks.
23.4lbs, how did you get it home? I carried 2 matates a 1/2 mile through the desert weighing approximately 60lbs. Passed 2 coyotes at there den not 40ft away from me. I just talked my way passed them reminding them I had rocks lol. They said, "rock on my friend". Great hunt, beautiful agates and keep that location under your hat.
You send CHILLS all over me.... Nice treasures. The one at 2:56 I'd call an orbicular jasper maybe (spherulitic jasper). I would take a chance on tumbling that. Such amazing Montana agates with dendrites! Thanks for sharing.
@@MajorBinkss Hello Major, if it is an orbicular jasper or "poppy" jasper sometimes tumbling brings out the orbs better. This one has different colors and if tumbling works away the outer layer then it might be really nice. I was thinking tumbling this one might really reveal the orbs, then again it might not. I've had some that were pretty amazing and after tumbling they became spectacular. Thanks.
Salut, You have a great channel here.... this is the variety of content I enjoy most! ....I am an incurable rock-in-the pocket-person.... and I see you are too! Really nice stones you find, by the bucket-load, at that! We don't usually find them like that in Indiana! Congratulations for the hunt and the movie! Cheers and Blessings.... I am a recent subscriber!
Oh wow the jaspagate u had with all the little eyes was soo cool just before u had that fade to the ginormus piece of pet wood. Omg blew my mind. And the brachiated jasper in your show and tell ar the end wow. And the one agate that u found with all the banding that was all brownish yellow when i saw the whitish blobs sticking out. Thought wow looks like a dino poop with prehistoric corn. Lol sorry. Had to say it. Loved the video
3/4 WAY through......EPIC, EPIC DAY!😍🤣🙃🤗😆GO WOMAN GO! MRMomma HAS THE POWER! Poppin out if ground for you .... Wanna GO HOME with YOU...... Waiting just for you OMG 🙆😘🤣 🤗🙃🤣😀🙋💟
When I saw that jasp-agate at around 9:00, I yelled out something akin to "sacred feces". One of the most beautiful rocks I have ever seen.Call the bizarre one after it "Jasp-Agate Moon". The big wood was spectacular.... none better in Arizona. It is going to be torture trying to figure how to cut each on since each has so many choices. Since I will never collect again, I give away all of my old secret sites, BUT DON'T TELL A SOUL ABOUT THIS SPOT. That place is what old decrepit rockheads run across only a few times in a life: A Miracle Mineral Mound.
Absolutely beautiful finds Kim. Montana is definitely on my bucket list for places to visit and go rockhounding. Plus I would love to meet all my favorite Montana RU-vid rockhounders too some day. Thanks for sharing.
Wow Kim! This has to be one of your best videos in quite a while. What an amazing location! I must say though, I think there was one other thing missing from the video. His name is Chop, Chop, Chopper. 🐶 Rock on indeed!
now that’s what i would call a successful recon! drogon gonna get fed! omnomnomnom! you truly do find some amazing pieces. thanks for sharing your adventures!
Dendrites are manganese inclusions that seeped into cracks and vugs in the stone in one stage of it's formation and the element manganese can also be responsible for the coloration in quartz type stones. Jaspers and petrified wood for examples. You certainly have no shortage of brecciated jasper. It must have been an interesting geological history that made those. Whole to broken up then resolidified with a massive quartz intrusion.
Those are some amazing finds!I do have a question however, how come sometimes you say fortification banding and other times you say just banding? It doesn’t take much for me to get confused lol Is There a difference?
Sorry for the confusion friends. Fortification banding generally refers to winding banding all around a pocket/void or bands/stripes that repeat (concentric banding) that make it look like the walls around a fortress (like in a fairburn agate). The bands follow the shape of the cavity. Sometimes I may just say "banding" because "fortification banding" is such a long phrase. Agate is made in a layering process, so most agate has banding in all different shapes and sizes and amounts, except of course Montana Agate, which may be dendritic without obvious bands. Waterline agates are formed when the layering happens slowly over time, usually from one end, where it fills up stacking on top of each other. Therefore, the banding is straight and parallel. Hope this helps!
@@MontanaRockMom totally help!!! Makes sense! Thank you for that! And the explanation how water lines are formed. Very cool! I’m seriously addicted to agates. Lol another question for ya. How much longer are y’all able to rockhound on the Yellowstone river before winter comes? I’m planning on making a trip out there. It’s in the bucket list. Lol not sure if I would wait til next year or if I can come in like a month? I would be grateful for any info! Thank you!!! ❤️🙏
@@rockersfromaz3001 last year we hardly had any snow, so I rockhounded throughout the entire winter. You can rockhound as long as we don't get dumped on with snow....which unfortunately is so unpredictable...but often melts quickly
@@MontanaRockMom a boulder i found hiking 20+yrs ago. I had to roll it through a narrow creek bed a few ft. at a time. Sprained and ankle months went by. Hurt my shoulders month went by😂.. sprained my wrist same. When I finally had it about 10ft from the road I pulled over on my paper route and introduced myself. He was almost always up in the wee hrs. and though we'd never met I'd been seeing him in his garage un the middle of the night. He was big and very strong and was happy to take a drive and help me bring my rock home🙏 I was always afraid that someone would steal it from the front yard but here it is 20 something years later and it's still right where he put it LOL. I love your videos because I love how you get so excited about rocks, the internet has been a wonderful thing with regard to finding Kindred Souls so rock on lovely Lady🎉Also. Again, just thinking about your sweet boy answering you with such tenderness and concern in the recent ornament making video, makes me smile everytime I think of it🥰 I'll have to make a short video of the aforementioned rock. When I do, I'll post a link and then would be delighted if You could tell me what it is.🙏🍀🌱🌄🙂
@kellym.9453 I can 💯% identify with you on the boulder rolling...injuries...boulder rolling...injuries....oh but the glory of having it there for decades and the memories of all that boulder rolling....🥰🤠
5:22 that has to be some kind of fossil? I just cant see how something like that would form if it werent a piece of agatized coral or something. just wild! So many rocks, its like you could of made 5 different videos with this footage there were so many! this is just crazy!!!
I know you drug that beautiful giant chunk out of there!! That petrified wood was amazing! Couldn't believe the different specimens you found...rock on is right!!😅😊
