i havent seen anyone comment on this but when Sharon at the beginning of the episode said “don’t touch me” whilst wandering off, i immediately called back to when Lilia said the same thing in episode 2 when Agatha and Teen went to see her. and later in the episode, she said “Try to save Agatha” And since she said her power was she could predict tragedy, maybe the quips/phrases she says are the lines of the characters who are going to die. So whoever says “Try to save Agatha” will be the next person to die. very eager to see how that will play out in the upcoming episodes. (this is all a theory too, so i could be lying LOL)

Anyone else think Agatha really doesn't know what happens on the road? I'm betting she's never been there. She just traded her son for the Darkhold to get power. But also they now need a green witch...and who's the only other green witch still available??? Rio.

Don't know if you caught it, but "Teen" who's 16 years old said a lot happened to him when he was 13. That was 3 years ago, around the same time Wanda created the Hex in Westview then took it down. Also the newspaper clippings in the credits mention a near death accident around that time, which was also hinted at by the car accident Agatha discussed with Rio in episode 1.

In one of the interviews, Debra Jo Rupp (who plays Sharon Davis/Mrs. Hart) said she had a lot less costumes than the others, so my guess is she really is dead. Also note that they never added Sharon's hair to the potion, which makes me suspect they are going to do a blame game sort of thing next episode (you forgot the hair, you cracked the glass etc.) Maybe in a reference to the song "Your Fault" from "Into the Woods"?

23:18 - she dead. Which is the reason why in the trailer - Rio comes out of the ground - the road needed an earth witch, or whatever - last one died, shes nearby (also escaping the 7) - boom.

They need a green witch, Rio is the green witch and the road punished them for not bringing her. Rio ends on the road.

I guess Sharon's death is what makes Rio's reappearance necessary, to take the place of the Green Witch. She'll probably show up next episode.

Her friend who died in an oven is a reference to the character Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd! Patti LuPone has played Mrs. Lovett multiple times!

Jeez, this episode got a lot darker than I was expecting. I was expecting just a fun witch movie like Hocus Pocus but this episode legitimately shocked me at points...😅

This is a Facebook post I made tonight. I agree with Hector on more stuff and here's what I said about/expanded on it: "Now Agatha All Along is rolling (no spoilers people!). Wonderful cinematography, lighting, direction, sets, wardrobe and hair and makeup. Top class, especially for something billed as "television." This is more of what Marvel needs. Not witches necessarily. But highly stylized shows giving us the stories that help us connect with the characters so once the big team-up movies come we really care. Each project should read like the comics do. Different artists and writers doing their own style of storytelling with their set of characters for their time with them. Each project having it's own distinct style the same way the books looked and read differently depending on who writes and draws/colors (when I was reading there was no mixing up a McFarlane Spidey with a Leifeld Deadpool unlike some of the generic MCU looking projects we've seen). This is the strength of the few post Infinity War-era projects that are generally considered best. Wandavision and Loki are uniquely their own thing and unlike anything TV or film have ever created before. Guardians 3 is uniquely it's own thing. Werewolf by Night was uniquely it's own thing. And so on. I hope we see a lot more shows/specials in the future of the MCU and they save the films for the team ups. I think it's a good way to use the strength of the first three phases, loving and connecting to the characters, while taking advantage of Disney+. Instead of solo movies, we get shows that let us explore these characters in depth as people and see them grow and change and become endeared to us. Then the movies are where world changing events are occurring. The spectacle you go and see on the big screen."

It just keeps getting better, this show is a riot.

Is it too obvious that Teen could be Nicholas Scratch? Or is that just misdirection and he is Billy/Wiccan? Or could it be exactly what they’re laying out?🤔

The professional haters are going to have a serious problem with Agatha this show for me is one of the best Disney have done in years. It started off looking like a SITC type episode then smack, Straight into AHS Coven I wont post spoilers but thanks to that Subtitle error we already know who Teen is and I suspect Agatha already does also. Sad ending but if she really is dead it was always going to be her 1st. This could just be an episode twist and she just starts breathing at the start of the next if that happens then you know she's a bigger character. The entire backstory of Agatha is so crazy dont rule anything out. 1st time in ages actually rewatching a show more than once at last!

Even though we're a month out from Halloween, the Spooky Season is in full effect! This episode had some creepy imagery, genuine scares, a little more intrigue, a little more mystery and a surprise ending. I'm genuinely enjoying the show so far, and I can't wait for next week.

If they're true to the standard ensemble horror genre, only 1 or 2 people survive.

I think sharon is "dying" hence becoming a witch. I'm not a witch but I am a Druid and a lot of pagan beliefs have you do some kind of ritual where you "die" and are "reborn" into your new title. They also caused her hands and legs to become black like she has used magic before she died. I think this is her being reborn.

I honestly think Agatha never expected to get to the road. I think her purpose was to get the other witches to blast her so she'd take their powers. She was as surprised as anyone else that the road was there, especially since she knows "Mrs Hart" isn't the Earth witch.

It's quite interesting to see Alice be the first one to assist someone or to think of others before her (when Sharon was sinking, when Sharon fainted on the coach after her hallucination, when they carried her off to the oven/tunnel). It kind of make sense that she chose to be a cop because she might have this sense of duty to "protect". And she also seems kind. I think she's going to be my most liked character here.

Agatha's son is called 'Nicolas Scratch', we saw his name in episode 1.

Ok.. What if Agatha know who this TEEN is and wants to keep him alive so she can use him as leverage / safeguard or something against Wanda.

Ms hart was a representation of rio. She dies meaning rio will come from under the ground like in the trailer. I havent seen ms hart in other scenes of the trailer only in this episode. And i think agatha is switching from her other self

New Mexican here and just to correct the record for Hector. Meow Wolf's initial instilation is in Sante Fe, New Mexcio (back in 2008) and that is exactly what came to my mind when I saw that scene. Very similar vibes. Others are now in other parts of the country, but New Mexico is the original and it is EPIC!

I am thinking back to the comics. When during West Coast Avengers, when we found out the twins were created by Wanda's Magic, and that their souls were shards of Master Pandemoniums' soul, and he was an agent of Mephisto. Agatha sacrificed her son to Mephisto for the Darkhold. Mephisto place the shards of Agatha's son inside Wanda's children. I think that sigil was placed there unconsciously by wanda to hide her children from other magical beings. I believe teen is trying to uncover his real origins, not realizing he's Wanda's son, with part the soul of Agatha's son both being manipulated by Mephisto.

Billy has a sigil W M ,so if it's not him (billy would be William maximoff) and is Wanda, it explains why she couldn't find them during m.o.m, it would've been subconscious magic when she took down the hex. And it means billy can't use his witchcraft to find his brother, so thats what he wants

My theory is that each of the trials is going to represent the 4 elements and this one was water (home is in middle of dry desert like a nice spring, door carving being on The Water Phase, wine, sink as cauldron, home being flooded) and next one is fire (they got out because of an oven door and next episode shows a lot of orange.

The Ballad is full of stuff that happens and will happen on the Road: "If one be gone, we carry on. Spirit as our guide." Sharon guides them later perhaps? Or: "I stray not from the path, I hold Death's hand in mine..." This show is great but I didn't want Sharon to die so I hope she'll be back somehow. I love all these characters. ❤

To be honest i do want it to be agathas son, its nice to see her thinking about someone thats not herself and she seems very protective of him.

When Sharon was begging Wanda to let her husband breathe, that was a reference to episode 1 of WandaVision. That's probably what she was thinking in her mind when all that she could say was "stop it" while he was choking.

Hello guys, i'm from Brasil and i really enjoy your reactions. My prediction is: since mrs. Davis took the poison twice, she didn't participate of all that whole thing of doing the potion and they forgot to get her hair to include it in the potion, many things being done the wrong way, and she is just a human, she died. Well, that's what came to my mind now.

I've noticed a lot of reactors seem to be confused when Lilith yells we have to save Agatha but I'm pretty sure that that's just another of the many divinations that we've heard from her since episode 2. I don't think it's any different. I'm sure it'll pay off later in the season like the rest of them probably will

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Teen received a compliment from Wu about his hair that looks eerily similar to Billy’s hairstyle in WandaVision.

We've seen Rio coming out from the earth in the trailer right, what if in the next episode, they bury Sharon's body and Rio comes out saying it was her all along 🤔, don't get your hopes up but it's a possible theory, witches road opens for true coven, and there's no coven without green witch, I'm not sure

The song lyrics say "If one bе gone, we carry on Spirit as our guide" so I'm wondering if Sharon comes back as a spirit to travel with them.

In Episode 2 , Lilia blurted out "Don't touch me!" and then this episode Mrs. Hart said it when she was by herself getting tangled.

Since episode 1 I’ve thought that ‘Teen’ isn’t just Billy / Wiccan but also will be connected to / be part of Mephisto, like the comics. Maybe Teen is on the road to free him, which he is why we’ve not seen him so far? Not only was Mephisto name checked within the MCU, by a character who has wider connections within the comics, but also Patti LuPone’s character saw Death, the embodiment of death. Whether we see them again in this series is anyone’s guess but at least they have been introduced.

So it's now been confirmed that Mephisto does exist and at least witches know about him, and Lilia may have met Death before????

I now worry for Jen, as she has served her role in completing the potions trial, and that makes her no longer of significant importance to the rest of the journey down the road. Agatha certainly won't hesitate to sacrifice any of them, so as the trials complete they are all in grave danger as they fulfill their roles.

I think Lilia every time she says does random things, she’s actually saying things that she will say in the future.

A bit of a guess, but I think the potion didn't work on Sharon because they didn't put her hair in it, all the other witches did.

Remember Lilia is a divination witch which means she gets premonitions. Pay attention to what she says as seemingly random as they sound.
