I've played this for years now and only just found this video, but Vietnam is pretty much no.1 . Your the strongest out of your neighbors, and when you invade all of them your instantly a no.1 power. It's so easy after you assimilate them

Ngl any one of the Balkan nations can become a powerful country with in like the first couple of turns just become fascist invade the weakest neighbor first then repeat the process also the main reason you should become fascist is because you get a lot of buffs idk it's up to you

In my opinion, playing as the Swiss is very fun you can start off by annexing Austria, move through Southern-Eastern Europe and force them to be vassals through ultimatums. (this will only work if you have a standing army bigger than the nation the ultimatum is forced on)

Played as the Philippines and I basically made the Pacific Ocean as my Mare Nostrum

I played as Albania and currently hold most of Europe. Only issue is some rebellions here and there but assimilation isn't difficult.

I had a campaign as Prussia in idk what scenario, maybe the scenario after napoleon but in my current time, 1935 14th September (yes that is how long i played), I was making 100k with a mobilized force of 130k men. I couldn't make Germany since bavaria was in the way (i tried to union but they denied each time even with 95+ relations) I had so much money that I have an economic score of 2k+ and wanna know why I scrapped the idea of going up to 2020... It crashed.

In victorian era Prussia or bavaria are good because if u unite all of germany ur already a world power all u have to do is destroy belgium and nether lands and then france and then you basically win

I found China to be easy as hell actually, Split China into about 4 portions, (keep the strongest) donate money to each of the other portions, they will build farms and increase population and industrialization eventually you will unite them and you will have a much stronger empire, like temporary feudalism.

Turkey is really overpowered actually. It just gets targeted on the AI gameplay. It has a lot of provinces and they are not so empty. The only problem is Russia.

I actually took over the middle east and europe with Lebanon. Took me alot of time and effort

First time i played this game i took of half the world(balkans, middle east, most of africa, and some big teritorries spread around the world) as austria, got bored, and started other scenarios.

Ima history nerd in silamoc and turkic history and k decided to play as Turkey in modern world by 2040 conquered middle east beside Afghanistan most of India most of Africa all of Arabia balkan countries and Scandinavian countries

As a person who played as 153 nations in the game I can tell that one of the easiest to play as were in Europe: Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Serbia, Bosnia in Asia: India, Pakistan, UAE, Japan, Indonesia in Australia and Oceania: Australia, New Zealand in Africa: Madagascar, Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia in North and Central America: USA, Canada, Mexico in South America: Venezuela, Argentina, Bolivia. I hope this helps new players learn the game.

i would recommend croatia over bosnia becouse of the choices to take on more countries like slovenia, montenegro, hungary, and bosnia is also weaker at the start.

Once i've started with a two-provinces african tribe in 1440, i took all africa and parts of europe

The first time I ever played this game I already conquered all of Europe as Germany

Spain: 1.Take out portugal(very easy) 2.alliance with france 3.take out nord african countries(very easy),or whole africa 4.break alliance with france and ivade europe(i recomend you get an alliance with russia) France(ww2) : 1.you are stronger than soviet union and have more population(good economy) germany is not to strong in this game and sometimes it wont even attack you 2.i recomend you take the rest of africa and than focus on the rest of europe 3.take out england(they are very weak in africa and sometimes they dont even have an army down there) 4.take out russia and later china Still be awear that italy and germany can attack you at any time if you didnt conquer them allready India: 1:You cant run out of manpower and money, conquer towords west and take out turkey so you will have a way in europe 2:later deal with china and russia when your allready powerful

No matter what in my games Romania and greece always go to war idk why, one game Iran and turkey went to war for 50 years each being in a stalemate and tons died with each nation having under 100k population. The war only ended when Egypt took down turkey
