This is by far the hardest mission yet, thx for the video. I will try to apply the same strat. Edit, I tried it right after I made this comment, making just archers and mangonel actually made the mission rather easy lol!

My man literally beat the level with just archers. Genius!! I'm going to try this. Been at it for days with no luck.

With the Mangonels, I think it is the best combo and the cheapest one to beat this mission on hard difficulty. The archer unit doesn't require gold to produce, so you can redirect all your gold towards Mangonel production. You also need to abuse the market to earn gold faster.

No bullshit. My successful play through of this mission was 4 hours long. The enemy armies got so big and using every single enemy type. I beat it once I watched this video a couple times and started triple walling and quad walling cause I didn’t know how to actually play this game playing it on hard lol… My stubbornness took over my sense but this video taught me how to control group more effectively and that there are more units than just building royal nights and crossbows like a dumbass.

I can't clear with even easy difficulty. But i will try this method.

I did this way more simple....built tons of archers, put them on the walls. Used Jeanne and Knights + east side wall archers to attack the small english camp. Then built 3 bélier and attacked the tourelles with only these guys and a magoneau. The archers on the wall kept distance of all the attack. I also had 1 builder repairing the walls and a monk under each group of archers. boom

I upgrade the fire arrows from the arsenal, I don't get it, fire arrows didnt applied at my archers at all haha. Even played at other difficulities also the same. However in skirmish I do have it if I apply it

Definitely a glitch, you can replace the archers with man-at-arms/heavy cavalry with max armor upgrade. The mangonel unit is still key to win this map IMO. It's sad that the devs broke this mission with glitches.

May I ask, how come when you build archers here you get fire arrows and damage to siege and buildings, but in my game, it doesn't? It's very hard to go with this technique though :( need help. Is it a bug?

I've just beat this on Intermediate and want to try on Hard eventually but maaan this mission is so annoying 😂 those supply convoys always iust come at the exact time when I'm busy on the other side of the map, like not now my dudes 🥲

I have the same fire arrows glitch, I guess it happened because I upgraded arrows first, and after some time I upgraded archers to veterans... Arbaletriers still have fire damage tho
