@@Dr_Weirdoo Much easier to protect your settlers too from early rushes. With minutemen and garrisoning settlers. Usually when I saw the enemy age up I'd prepare defenses. Lol
My mother bought me this game for my birthday about three years after it came out, it was like 38 dolars so it wasnt cheap, she actualy bought me empire war, then got me the asia expansion pack and the we went together to walmart so that I could get it. It was such a fucking beautiful present that i will never forget and love her so much for making my dream of owning it come true. Love my mother and love the living fuck out of ensamble studios and this masterpiece of an online game
boeidoei 77 Better than AOE2, where you need like 30 arrows to kill a boar. Maybe that's why villagers just punch enemy soldiers. Clearly their bows aren't worth the wood used to make em.
Every time a boot this up on my pc I get an instant dopamine rush making me think about the battles , building an empire and exploring the map, you will always have a special place in my heart ensemble studios and always age of empires, message written: 2024
O pessoal da Ensemble studios tinha tanto talento pra fazer games, é uma pena que o diretor da microsoft não acreditou no potencial deles de qualquer forma sou agradecido até hoje por esse jogo incrivel obrigado ENSEMBLE!
This music just scratches my soul. Even though I was just a little kid when this came out I remember sitting by my older brothers desk when he played this game and I thought it was so awesome. Memories I will never forget.
***** a loop repeats the same thing again and again, an extended version adds stuff inside it, a loop is like taking again and again a radio edit (or now clip edit) exemple: Nightwish - Storytime
God I miss this game my dad bought this 5 years ago when his job wasn't daily all that much and from that on we decided that every game is a family heirloom and all the generation must play it, I haven't played now cuz of dad's wacky old laptop but damm... This is truly paradise
As far as I know, it still works fine on Windows 10, and probably 11. Even cheap new PCs probably meet the system requirements easily, although it always is worth checking.
This is the first game i play and make me impressive. Long2 ago when i was 10. I play this on my sister phone. And i can play this AOE3 for an hours. Really2 make my imagination and thought like in medieval era. Thanks for create this music, and people who upload repeat to youtube. This game coming inside to my soul and i don't feeling lonely anymore. At this time even i created my own kingdom on my books. Lol , haha. Miss you Colonel, Pikeman, musketer, Keshik, Naginata Riders, Morgan Black, Malta Island, St. Angelo, St.Elmo, Mellieha Bay, The Forest, Valletta, Jean Parisot de la vallete and other. Great game. I promise will create a books of fantasy about story the country or the people. And inspiration from this game. H'll yeah. ! ','
When I was a child (around 14yo) we used to go on Evia for holidays (a greek island). I met various other kids and used to play with them. There I met another guy who was kinda older (around 16) and we got along well. So when I got back from holidays we arranged for me to stay at his home for one night. Among other things he showed me his navy miniatures and introduced me to this game. He had it on the CD version for PC. And man did I fell in love with this game. After that we actually never met again, but this game stayed with me forever, I used to play the demo version cuz I didnt even have steam back then, now I've got the definitive edition on steam. Getting it not only because I like the game but really as a tribute to those charming memories.
I remember playing this when I was 12 years old and I had to go with my dad to his job at an office and I'd just be playing this all afternoon/early night.
The first PC game I ever played on a busted old Windows XP computer. I could not even speak English back then so I simply pressed random buttons until I was into the game. Oh the memories :,)
The game that keeps my childhood picture perfect from the day i spam the trees so the settlers say "forester" on and on to the day i made an island called "stone wall island" Thank u age of empires 3 see u in the definitive edition
