Romans actually didn't use Phalanx, I also don't understand why their elite unit are Hoplites and not Legionaries. Hoplites are Greeks from Alexander the Great. It's like putting Samurai into the Chinese faction. the most famous Roman lance unit were the Triarii, basically the Praetorians of the Roman Republic.
I'm sorry to say, but this game looks terrible. It looks more like Raid Shadow Legends or some other mobile game than Age of Empires. The voice acting os horrible, and the story is npt based on history like all the actual Age of Empires games.

Let's be honest. It looks like every other pay to win game, like the rise of kingdoms. The graphics look good, but that does not mean it's a good game. And its worst 😊
This looks more like RoK than AoE. Disappointing. Wanted this to be a RTS that doesn’t require me to upgrade and wait 5 minutes - 14 days for a building upgrade. I just wanted to play AoE2 on mobile…😔
@@OmniarchOfficial the game is extreme p2w, and full of bugs with constant hot fixes. Tbf I am a beta player and I'm sure many of the bugs will be fixed for core release. But the heavy p2w will be this games undoing.

This looks like another game I play called, Vikings Rise. I think I'll just stick to the old school Age of Empires. I was actually playing Age of Empires II last night 😂

I remember being in school my friends and i would sneak the disk for age of empires. And also age of mythology. We would get in trouble a lot for playing it on the school computers 😂
I liked the realism and the amount of detail. I'm really excited for the global version because it will be smoother and free of minor flaws. It's my favorite game.

Best tip I can give you from player in server 2 is to make sure you boar event that lets you grind David tokens or make farms to do that you have enough to get him maxed. That event only last a week I think and doesn’t come back.

For a game compared to rise of kingdoms and all those pay to win games it seems fine but I was really hoping it would just be as close as possible to the real game people want age of empires on mobile becuse they don’t have computers but wanna play the original game not a p2w rise of kingdom game compared to similar p2w games it’s good maybe the best I’ve seen but it’s nothing compared to aoe 2 definitive edition.
I'm preregistered and really looking forward to this (can't be faffed with a VPN, although that may change - there's one Filipino in particular that I would not want to have too much of an advantage 😆) I would think Lilith will need to be pretty impressive and roll out the graphical update pronto. Can only think that they must be planning a bloody impressive RoK 2.0 (ish) update to wow us all after lacklustre commanders and updates recently in order to stay competitive. Or maybe they're concentrating on more lying adverts? Absolute classic during your vid for me, I must say. Absolutely everything in it was a lie 😂🤣
If this is like RoK then it's pretty impossible to judge the game until you reach endgame. Maybe I'll check again in half a year or so. I don't know if this has a kvk equivalent or whether it's home kingdom only.
The game is beautiful and complete and will be one of the best strategy games and those who comment negatively without trying it because they are afraid that everyone will go to it and leave them alone in their game 😂

I loathe games with this large map 35:13 to travel around. Like it’s a major turn off for me. The original age of empires didn’t have this. Does the mobile version use this map often for quests, raids etc?

I've test that game. Grapghic 10 But gameplay. I'm jus gonna give it 5. Why? This game is have high quality graphics but why they can't even have long range shooting archer like COD? And also. Why is any commander is just like the same. Look at Rise of kingdoms. There's commander who focused on attack, there's other focused on defense + Shield or heal, there's also another commander who's focused on skill damage. But in AOE? Why every commander is just like having only damage. Like almost any comandder is just another damage dealer. Graphics good. But for gameplay no.
I'm new to the kingdom game, is this game free to play? Spend a lot of time to play?, I don't play much game cause I spend much time at my job i just want to find a game where i can kill my few minutes at work (break time)
play squad busters, i play ROK too, but that game is fully p2w and addictive, ppl do spend alot in that game, i am f2p , and i dont do much in rok cuz p2w just swarm you, as f2p you need to give hell lot of hours in gameplay. i played like 16 hours a day for 1 years+, now i play like 1 2 hours only. Squad busters is p2w too, but its fun as f2p and you can play and close the game lol. just 5 minutes per attack/gameplay haha
I want to know some basics. Is this game similar to Rise of Kingdoms, where you have to be careful about which kingdom you create your account in, and does it have migration, etc.? Should I look for a jumper project on Discord/Reddit for this game like in RoK? Is this game highly pay-to-win like RoK?
This brings me back, however they made it so much more complicated. As always its so people pay money to rush it. So sad. Ill continue playing the classic on my computer.

Nah i hate this type of gameplay.. why we need to wait hour to complete the building? I would like to pay full version just like civilization 6 mobile rather then this.
I really like AOE 1, 2, and 3, but unfortunately this looks like a play to win cash grab. I really wish we could’ve just had AOE 1 or 2 as a direct port for mobile.

I am looking for a new ROK/cod game since cod is basically dieing and my t5 account is stuck in a dead kingdom in rise of kingdoms and can't find anything like them in the play store I do hope this is a good game or am about tk through my phone away and go live in a cave 😂
So it's exactly copy paste reskin from games what we already have out. Nothing new. They didn't even tried to make some changes. So sad. Was expecting little bit more then 100% clone
