Oh man, my favorite pirate game of all time, I spent months playing it. I wonder if there is a playable version today, with some fixes, it used to be buggy, but glorious!

this video must be 2 years late but i got a question how to fire all cannons together in 1 side cause everytime I signal fire my cannons fire randomly not together do i need a best gunner or alot of crews?

Well, I'm actually on the edge if this game is any good... gotta try it for my self, but I'd love a "modern" and "western" game (those Russian games really are quite rough around the edges!)
How do you press the arrow and go so fast while transferring crew? Does that work with every arrow? I love this game, but I like to cheat the character stats, although I don't know how to do it for everything. Edit: what's the difference between Age of Pirates and Sea Dogs? Are they the same game?
1st: I think it's Ctrl + Arrow keys? Ain't sure... 2nd: It's all "sea dogs" games, but Age of Pirates is one of the newer ones. Should've been, quite honestly. After the x-rewrite of the game, I really had hopes they would listen to the feedback and make it more like this game. Alas, W&B was a stillbirth
I wrote a little Tool to extract all ship information... stumpfl.lima-city.de/CoAS-Ships/index.php So, the Black Pearl IS in the game (at least in both mods), but is not buy-/captureable.
It's a russian game and they aren't known for being "intuitive"... so yeah, there is a bit of a learning curve shooting: in first-person you can aim the cannons yourself in third-person, aiming will be done automatically to the nearest ship in either direction. If there's a ship left and right of you, your ship will fire on both. If you don't have a good officer though, or have the respective skills yourself, you won't hit much^^

@@harris9375bro the game was really old school Just go into the log file and change stuff in there I could basically create the black pearl in there. A ship with maxed out speed no matter the wind direction and sold for 5 gold😂
ABSOLUTELY! Tbh, every game after Sea Dogs 1 and 2 (the "originals"), got worse and worse. A modern version... omg, just think about a VR game where you'd command a Ship of the Line... 50+ cannons firing in ripple or unison to obliterate the enemy vessel. FUCK, that's my new wet dream I guess^^
@@ytdlder The fact that we could dominate islands and improve it always get me as the best feature in the game (besides the amazing variety of ships of couse) All games that have seafering is so boring, they let us drive a ship but is always the same model, the only thing that changes is cosmetics (AC black Flag and the upcoming game Skull and Bones). But sadly... the company that made Sea dogs is a Indie russian company that has no name, and the other games they had made is just... garbage.
@@ytdlder HEY, searching trough the web i found out there is another company developing a new game in the corsair series Corsairs Legacy - Pirate Action RPG & Sea Battles; IT IS AMAZING, modern grapichs. Of course is not a AAA type of game, but still far better.
@@ImperadorLucius to be perfectly honest: Sea Dogs is really garbage too; from a technical standpoint, but it just had such a great... atmosphere, I guess.
