the -1 to hit from cover is on a unit basis (35:15) - so either the whole unit is behind or not - if one model has a line that goes past it, everyone in that unit can shooting without cover or obscuring mattering for the whole unit
To get the most out of Dracolines against medium to heavy armor you have to get Krondys -1 to save on the unit you are going after. Their strikes first ability can also be super helpful if you can use power through or placement to contest but not control. Really hurts the opponents counter charge into them.
Great report, guys! Nice to see reports with Andrew deepkins! C&T definetly indercosted as hell, but without them IDK really shines and at least could do their weak bites from the deep. Soulraid formation with C&T probably will be even better.
They changed the gravetide's casting value. It's an 8 now Also, why did the companions save the longstrikes on 3s in the first turn? Base 4+, +2 to save because of their ability + AOA, -2 rend comes out to be 4s Edit: on T4, the Longstrikes could've shot. They have retreat and shoot
When you look at Warscrolls Eidolon of the Sea seems like the greatest unit ever for handing out multiple -1 saves to benefit all those hard to buff companion combat profiles. Actually rolling the 7 on dice for it to go off seems to be prohibited so it feels like it just gets a lot easier teleport.
Awesome game! Love seeing the Idoneth on the channel! Andrews luck with the Eels were abysmal. But keept is head in the game and played the Idk really well. Dracolines are such a good looking model, love the cats! Looking forward to the next one!
