You have to do the pregame fly movements before rolling the wheel. Flies move before start of first battle round, wheel is rolled at the start of the fist battle round.
Round 1 on nighthaunts first turn, i still see the disease points on his unit, didnt you do the disease damage and reset to 1 in your first battleshock phase?
It’s in the designer notes for wave of terror. “An enemy unit can be affected multiple times by wave of terror effects, as long as each effect is applied by an unmodified charge roll for a different charging Nighthaunt unit.”

However, some dice rolls, such as hit and wound rolls, will specify that the roll cannot be modified by more than +1 or -1." So, I don't see how they were getting -2 to hit. I think the designer's note you are referring to means that you can apply all three abilities to one unit if you want, provided that it was charged by three units that made the appropriate rolls.
@@jonr655 did you not read that whole section? You are adding up all the modifiers then dropping it down to -1. So you add all positive and negative modifiers and then after all those have been added if the result is higher than -1/+1 you drop it to that. In this case he had two -1 modifiers if he had done something like all out attack he would also have a +1 but in either case after all added together he would still be -1. Yes they can be stacked from nighthaunt but any past -1 for to hit is just trying to beat any bonuses he would give

When this is the case, add up all the modifiers that apply and if the total is more than +1 or -1, treat it as being either +1 or -1 as appropriate.”
