Age of Sigmar Lore: Valkia the Bloody 

The original book on Valkia mentioned that she took down a greater demon of slaneesh before her ascension and went about bringing his head to Khornes gate and then fought through hundreds of Khornes demons in an attempt to reach his throne.

I would also add a recommendation for the Novel - It will be re-released as part of the warhammer chronicles compendium "Champions of Chaos" on April 19th so that might be a good time to pick it up with a bunch of other cool stories. Her original origin story is a bit more compelling than the current AoS ret-con although its basically the same. I'm not sure why they felt the need to change it since she had already ascended to be a demon so could easily cross over to the new game with her history intact

Valkia became a daemon before age of sigmar. She ahs been Khornes most favored since the world that was, so by this point she is several tens of thousands year old. nagash never hade any claim on her

I have a lore question. I’m just a touch confused. I’ve read the book about her. It kind of conflicts with the AoS lore you just described. The book is set in the Old World, her shield is actually the head of a slanneshi daemon prince that she killed, and she ascended to daemonhood when she made a pilgrimage to the chaos wastes and found an open rift to Khorne’s realm and slaughtered her way to Khorne’s throne. Her tribe abandoned her on the journey, and she hunted them down after receiving her god’s blessing. That’s from the book I read, which was way before AoS was even a thing. Did GW just redo her entire lore and that book is obsolete now or does it still tie in to the AoS lore? Not trying to contradict you or the research you put into this video, but it kinda conflicts with what I know about her and am just looking for clarification.

I would recommend the Sarah Caukwell book, it's a good read. Keep in mind it is an old world story, lots of fub though.

Get the book! It fills her out more and is even more badass. A few examples. SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT: That Daemon Prince was Slaaneshi and was trying to convert her, but she killed him while STILL MORTAL. She died not to her tribe, but while she was trying to reach the chaos gates in the North of the Old World, and is the Bride of Khorne

Great video - as always. I have a lore question. Do we know what happened to the old world gods. You mention a little about Morr in one of Nagash's video, but what about other gods like Taal, Myrmidia, Ulrik? Were they real gods or just a myth created by Imperial people?

Great video and one of my favourite daemonish characters! If I remember correctly you mentioned Nagash the undying king in some video. Was it a good book?

8:25 that is very interesting. I think that the fact the difference on a God! and a Demi-god is that Gods can create life, which is something demi-gods can't do; it is actually the only difference which is guaranteed on a God and a Demi-god; power is one thing but if you can't create life you are not a true God.

I have a lore question for you and I am not really sure where the best place to submit it is. it involves the seraphon and their souls.

She seems a bit more planning the average Khorne Lord. I could never quite accept that a single-minded, blood-crazed Khorne leader could actually keep an army around but with somebody like Valkia it makes more sense

What lore is there for the lizzardman/seraphon and where can i find?

Hey, I’ve heard that you compare quite a lot the Chaos Gods to Sigmar. I was watching the lore video for Gutrot Spume:) very nice video. But I wanted to ask you, cause I think you have a different opinion than someone else’s answer. I wouldn’t have asked actually if I didn’t watch that video:))) so, you say Sigmar Can Bless people just like the Chaos Gods. But then, While Chaos Gods Have armies of Chosen and Aspiring Champions And all that kind of stuff, then why doesn’t Sigmar Bless the Imperial Warriors to be on par with Chaos Warriors, like Greatswords and Chaos Warriors or Chosen, Knightly Orders( probably Reiksguard) with Chosen chaos Knights and so on. The Man that answered my question said that Sigmar doesn’t want to take away people’s humanity. What do you think?
