Opt in to the pension they put in quite a bit to your contribution. Dont forget that you have around 30+ more years to work so you will need a pension to live on at the end wether it be private or nhs. The nhs pension they will pay it on to your nominated person when you die. You get an extra benefit too if you pass away while being in service/still working they will give a pay out to your family. I think its a minimum of £60,000 that would be in addition to your personal life insuarnce.
NHS pension depends on how long you worked with the nhs I know people who have retired and cannot even afford to stay at home they have to do the odd bank shift because there nhs pension is not enough to sustain them
@@nurse_bellinda its so sad. Im private sector but nhs pension. We have a few more benefits from work. It deffinetly is worth having a pension. Congrats on your progession.

Hiya nurse B, I love all your content and resilient spirit. Please I just wanted to ask if you could help show me the sample of what critical writing means -- thank you (finally year DMU student). Thank you
Thankyou so much for this video. But i want to ask if it is reasonable for me to resign my contract as an Healthcare assistant with the trust and fully join the bank shift because i want flexible shift? And my sister nurse is not ready to give me that. I need your advice please
Girl the reality of nhs pay and agency pay😂 why so many nurses are leaving to go agency. You and I both that are trying to save to move to the USA cannot work nhs and be able to save. So for us we need to be agency nurses 😂
Hii can you please guide me that how can i leave my job tier 2 and join agency for permanent option and also can u tell me whether they provide certificate of sponsorship for overseas nurses.
