"Sometimes a really fun game is not necessarily the most realistic game.... so, we went through design ideas, ...’well what’s not fun in 2k?’’ Translation: PS5/xbox series NBA2k21 will be a game catered to casuals with unrealistic arcade gameplay.

And it is people like you who would tell people to spend the $60 dollar plus on a game to ‘see’ if the problem has been fixed because watching gameplay alone, and hearing the words directly from the developer’s mouth (according to people like you) isn’t enough. Repeated history is a good indicator for what’s in store. Weed through youtube’s 2k history, and the same exact things are posted year in and year out. Edit: all casuals want are the same exact thing year in and year out. When the developers implementations deviate from what allows casuals to be successful, twitter blows up and the implementations are either removed or nerfed once again, to the point where the brand new game is exactly like years past. Rinse, recycle repeat.

@D. Jizzal ... they should completely take out green and white releases. Don’t need them. Edit: Let me re-phrase that. Green release should not automatically result in a make basketball. If anything it should only increase the percentage of shot success (not guaranteed success).

strawberryyogurt0 a green signifies skill, it means you played the game correctly and were rewarded for shot timing. That’s what bball. The team who can put the ball in the hoop more wins and if someone can get more greens then their opponent they should win

Cash Money they said in the interview that you can’t really have a realistic and fun game. Getting rid of whites entirely is how you make the game the most skill based. It’s not hard to get open especially when the movement is so weird and inconsistent. Once you’re open timing your shot should be the ultimate factor in making the shot at least in competitive play.

Why are u asking this clown??? He isn't a SIM gamer , he has no skill in this game and wants to turn 2k into a full out " Fast Paced Arcade Game " as he says . Don't kill this game , stick with Realism and challenge the players ! Makes us think and use our heads , guys like him just want easy wins cus they use the fastest and most overpowered players . Don't forget about the SIM gamers who made this game what is since day 1 , If anything make 2 modes if possible . One for SIM style and one for Arcade for these clowns who just want to hold turbo and run up and down all day long
