If the govt is going to provide for foreigners coming to the country and all the excuses they allow. Then they need to provide for legal citizens. As recently as the 1930s American parents experiencing economic difficulty told their sons (and some cases daughters) to hit the road, look for a job, send money home to help raise their younger siblings. Before birth control, children weren't always welcomed into the world with fanfare and excitement. After weaning they were seen as another mouth, and when boys hit adolescence and began eating like a horse they were seen as a liability. But without the genetics that conveyed that fire in the belly to work as many hours as it took to accomplish a goal, many of them went right back to their home region to resume a life of poverty. They married, had a child every other year and found themselves in the same dilemma when their sons reached puberty.

I know that she has met with other leaders in Central and South America on this issue and is working with a couple of Countries including Mexico to find a solution. Other countries have agreed to take in a lot of these people traveling north. In some cases there are 3 countries ahead of us that are taking in people. This is not a-fix-it-in-a-week-project. It is the democrats who are asking the questions that is showing that what is going on at the border, like the arresting of those bringing drugs into the country. Instead of recognizing the drugs busts as win-win in stopping the incoming of drugs, the republicans thinks this is a bad thing. The border patrol has a huge amount of technology that has been very effective in catching more ways bad guys are crossing the borders and this is showing up as more drug busts. However, the numbers that they are discussing with regards to drugs coming across the border along with children being put into child trafficking not by people from the US but people coming across the border that is a different ball game. My brother died last year from a fentanyl accidental overdose. This awful drug touched our family. In short he was not a drug addict.. He got attacked from a homeless man with a sledgehammer. He was robbed for his scooter that he was driving. He was lucky to live through it, but with the broken bones and pain the doctors had given him about 2 weeks worth of medicine, this was week 8 still in pain. He asked someone we don't know who for pain medication. His name was Paul, he was 54 years old. Lived in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Blame that on the government! They don't let doctors prescribe the actual pain meds people need.They think everyone is a drug seeker too. It's a scam in my opinion because everyone gets treated the same when obviously each case is different. Pain meds are cheap so there isn't much money to be made off of them. They'll send people to every specialist and try out all these weird injections in people.. physical therapy to people who don't benefit from it at all. People don't know what to do so the only thing they can do is seek out drugs that are unregulated. I work in a nursing home and I see so much BS

The spike in the chart i will bet anything on was an increase BECAUSE more is coming in with open borders. So of course they catch more, but they are also missing more, because there is just more of everything. Yeah, she graduated with high marks while completing double majors in Economics and International Relations from Boston College. The point being on drugs entering the U.S, is it shouldn't even get to the point of seizure of drugs, it should be stopped at a border wall, and at our only access points to the country.
