Trooper Caviness handled this so well. And props to the mother for not making a scene, resisting arrest, screaming, etc. She thought of her children and not herself.

This cop deserves a raise!! So professional and the way he treated the kids was absolutely AMAZING!! Nobody likes being pulled over let alone arrested in front of their kids. This officer handled the situation absolutely perfect in all areas.

As serious as these charges are, you got to give her props for keeping her cool and staying calm for her children.

This is a prime example of some of the hard things officers have to do. I’m glad he tried to make the best of the situation that he could!

Trooper Caviness was awesome with the young man. Good to see the interaction between the two. I hate this happened on this young man’s birthday. Hopefully they got everything straightened out and he got to have his party. Thank you NST for showing the human side of the badge.

I have to give a HUGE shout out to the officer who handled this! He did the best job I have ever witnessed when dealing with a child and the parent getting arrested. It is traumatic enough on the adult getting arrested but in front of ur child on their birthday on the way to their birthday party. I understand the officer didn’t know that but he tried to distract the child to keep him from being so upset. Not much would help but he did the best he knew how I am sure. And he did an outstanding job not only from an officers aspect but also as a human aspect. In the day and age of all the bad publicity with the public and law enforcement now, this is a true breath of fresh air! He did an outstanding job! We need more compassionate law enforcement like this man. Great job and you have earned mine and I am sure many more people’s respect just from this short video! We need many more people not just in law enforcement but just people in general around the world like him and maybe the world wouldn’t being going to hell in a hand basket as they say! Again, you have earned at least my respect and I am sure many more. U have surely made an impact on that young boy’s life and not in a negative manner. Thanks for your service! Hey NST, once again showing that not everyone in law enforcement likes to kill unarmed people, For those that are saying she knew she had the warrant there are 2 ways to get a warrant. 1. Fail to appear for a court case 2. A Criminal report is filed against you, the report goes to the District Attorney's office they saw there was probable cause to file the charges so they went in front of a judge and got them to put out a warrant for her arrest if they had an address that wasn't up to date it's very possible that she DIDN'T know she had open warrants

Omg this really saddens me, lil man is on his way to the celebrate his birthday and this is the memory that he will have, but I commend this trooper for having such class and compassion for these people, but this is his job, but he is very touched by this situation

As others have stated, this Trooper handled this situation PERFECTLY. He needs recognition and time off to develop a training presentation on how to deal with these types of situations. He is a credit to the ASP in particular and LEOs in general.

You had some awful stuff happen and your man’s story sounded like you’ll get it cleared up. I can tell you held it together for your kids but the scariness of what you went through and now being arrested started to break you. I breastfed all 6 of my children and I feel her pain so deep, you can’t just give the baby a bottle easily. Most of these videos are people freaking out this one was heartbreaking. I have so much respect for the Trooper and how he handled everything his hands were tied. I have a feeling this one is going to stick with that Trooper.

I remember the first video I saw with this trooper he let the adrenaline get the best of him. It's great to see him be respectful and kind in such a complicated situation, with kids involved and all.

What a kind, considerate officer, thinking about the young kid's welfare and keeping calm with the mum.

I have to admit, I watch a lot of these videos on RU-vid but my favorite are Arkansas State Police. These guys are amazing drivers (the best in my opinion). So well trained. A bit aggressive but that more often than not, it's needed. Cheers to the Arkansas State troopers.

Kudos to Trooper Caviness on the way he handled this entire situation. And kudos to this young lady for her genuine love, caring and concern for her kids . Cuffed and in the back seat of the cruiser, her concern wasn't for her, but for her children. Even asking if she could nurse her infant. Regardless of any felony warrants, the woman hasn't lost sight of her duties as a mother. In a world where some 66m babies have been aborted, this young woman's love for the well being of these children is #1 with her. I pray and trust that she's able to get these warrants taken care of and return home to care for them and be their mommy. Bless their hearts.

This was a great example of the everyday encounters that our Law enforcement agencies deal with and how they actually deal with those situations. This is a good man, a great officer and the mom made a mistake but you can tell by her actions she didn't want the children upset. She conducted herself like a mother and woman. Hope for the sake of her babies she gets this handled and goes on creating a good life for those babies

The ASP trooper was a class act keeping a difficult situation under control. Had to be a tough assignment to carry through with what he had to do, and could contribute to this situation. Hope it all came out okay in the end.

Trooper Caviness was awesome to this Mom and her family. It sounds likes the Cali incident wasn’t truthful by the others. I hope she gets this resolved and in her favor soon! So traumatic when she’s breastfeeding a wee one.
