In relation to the formula used for the mini-project validation rule, wouldn’t that formula prevent the system admin from editing any invoice that is not at state “paid” since the whole if statement would return true if stage = “paid” is false? Also, would this validation rule prevent users without the system admin profile from editing any invoices since profile = “System Administrator” would be false? Love these lessons by the way, they’re really helping me review for my admin exam. 10/10!

If the standard object has standard validation rule for a particular field, is there any way we can override the standard validation rule by creating our own rule?

The scenario is like i have a workflow which updates amount field from 100 to 200 in opportunity objects and i have validation rules which displays error if same field is 200 so what could be the output
Hi Vasu, Validation rule will never execute after field is updated from Workflow Rule. So in your scenario the field will be updated to 200 without any error.
