Join us for a long weekend away competing in agility at Agility Vision. This is our first show where me and Luna are competing at grade 3! A very exciting but very nervous experience. After a brilliant first day, Luna (English Springer Spaniel) has some very cheeky contacts - something we definitely need to continue to work on. We are supported by Neville, a Romanian rescue, and Lilly, the Sprointer puppy.

I definitely get you about putting them back on the contacts and throwing away the run. Dilys has running aframe so if she misses that then she misses it and we just carry on, then for seesaw she’s quite nervous so her criteria is to literally just do it (waiting for her to do 2 on 2 off takes too long so i just release her), and then for DW she has stopped contacts and she’s quite slow at shows when she does them so if she was to push it a bit i wouldn’t mind because putting her back on can sometimes discourage her and slow her down if that makes sense? but so far she hasn’t not stopped so i’m hoping it stays like that ahhaha. But definitely keep going and putting Luna back on when she misses her contacts because it will pay off in the long run!!

Oh I get you, Luna will sometimes creep over the aframe if I put her back on 🙈 Luna doesn't mind me putting her back on most of the time otherwise, Lilly I feel will be different as she seems more of a thinking dog so I feel she may overthink it but we will see!
