As a biochemist I’d say thanks for this overview. My personal tips would be to start off by sketching the core concepts/ outlines a bit more using simple terms before elaborating and diving into the biochemical/ research terms to make this understandable to a broader public, and easier to understand for those with less background knowledge. And maybe a conclusion with a concise and simple take home message might boost the appeal. Also your pace is quite high I think so I had to pause and replay sometimes to really get to the core of this. Otherwise very well done and thanks for the efforts

I'm certainly more encouraged than becoming actively discouraged by the sum total of the vid's overall message. Here's me been long term drinking pineapple laced black tea and munching on capers for their very quercetin content, blind to the fact that ...Well - we don't know yet! All things considered, with my brocolli and alfalfa seeds reordered just this morning, I'm at the very least bathing in sulphorophane's positive glow, even before I learned of their favourable HSF1 involvenent less than 2 minutes ago. Makes my 36 hour fast that I'm currently engaging in all the more worthwhile...in the grand scheme of things. Two turmeric coloured thumbs pointing indeed upwards in appreciation.
@@bluellamaslearnbeyondthele2456 Boosts the absorption by a significant factor. Throw in that it's real juice and not the pasteurised variety with the vit C largely removed, it's the business. Also, because there's strong evidence of the combination dumbing down the same interleukins involved with that pesky virus doing the rounds. Again, because they're the real deal and not synthetic analogues that on paper are similar, but in real studies - fall short!
Quercetin has also been shown to inhibit Sirt2, and potentially other Sirtuins as well. It seems though it is a weak inhibitor of Sirtuins, and is stronger in inhibiting NAD competitor enzymes (such as various CD's) and inducing autophagy. The key with quercetin seems to be small doses - while getting apigenin straight from parsely/chamomile, and taking fisetin - along with some fat and other things that increase absorption - should be most important.
@@robertrowan9893 ain't quercetin an ionophore too? I could be wrong. I'm that case, that would also help with peskiness provided there's zinc in there too. But I'm confused about why interleukins would interfere...
Yeah, so that is a great question that i don't think we have the mechanistic answer to yet. As i mentioned it would be good to have more biochemical/transciptomic data on the heat shock response including saunas

@@raychance9696 on average how long a day to you use a sauna and do you incorporate a long exercise regime or high/moderate intensity or do you moderate depending on your day and energy levels? Also of a person were to fast for a few days or day would you recommend exercise or not as that person would surely need fuel to exert theirself.
@@Chris-kr7gg I try to mix it up prior to using the sauna including weights, treadmill, and VR. In the sauna I do breathing exercises which enhances the experience. I spend 20 minutes in the sauna after the initial sweat. For fasting, I follow prolon FMD for 5 days and do not use the sauna during that time (recommended by the program).

He became known after posting "Exercises that Batman would do", Beyond Sports, He knows very little about the longevity spectrum, aside from trying Intermittent Fasting. The cool thing about him is he tries to make a balance between Functional Exercices (cross-fit, cardio). and Bodybuilding (weights) and mainly: The name of his channel "bionner", is connected to the fact he tries to control his biology, the idea of self hacking, as all we try to do. Another cool thing, he doesn't talk specifically about longevity, but always tries to promote health at any age, and really takes exercises to another level in order to accomplish it. He is from the United Kingdom, and will probably not lose the chance to promote his books and shirts if you allow it. If he says he needs the cachê to be in an interview, tell him he lost the chance to speak to the first immortal doctor (yes you). If you do not buy a Microphone for table, until the next interview, the State of California will receive a big Earthquake.

After going for run, when I am at bed, I feel a low level of fever. Is that activating the heat shock transcription factor ? Could it protect the cells from death ? Could it make the newly transcribed proteins better ? I feel that my pains are gone next day. So is it reducing inflammation ? Finally ,what is the impact on the immune system and white blood cells and stem cells ?
