I'm 38 and since starting to look after myself by eating the right foods and taking the right supplements I look younger now than I did at 28. Your body really is your temple but you have to be really disciplined when it comes down to anti aging and stick at it. Old habits die hard!
@@jamesgarvey8402 Hello. These days I avoid refined sugar so that means no chocolate, cake and other sweet stuff, sugar is so bad for aging you which I never realized. I don't smoke. I don't drink much alcohol...probably just a few times a year, like sugar regular alcohol intake is bad for aging. In terms of sleep I try to get about 7 hours. I do regular intermittent fasting which is good for aging and when I eat I often have omega 3 rich fish (anti aging) with vegetables and feta cheese, feta cheese is good for gut health and that's never a bad thing for aging. I choose vegetables that are high in vitamins a, c and e. All 3 of those vitamins are good for aging. I avoid fruit juice as that is high in sugars, too much fruit sugar is also bad. Some whole fruit is ok but you don't wanna go overboard with it, vegetables are better. I also take a good quality combined multivitamin and mineral supplement and also astaxanthin which is a powerful antioxidant that can slow aging.
According to European law, NMN (Beta-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is considered a chemical unsuitable for human consumption. That's why you should have no faith in the future here on earth, sadly the elite does not like that the people are free, healthy or free thinking. My late friend sold NMN, TMG and Reservatrol because of David's research. He's father got a new life after using the products. And my friend had a wound on his leg that started to grow after having problems with his leg for many months!
My type of Drs,Professors, scientist , I am 80 yrs old and do not take any type of medication, love you both for what you are doing, will follow you and will buy your books..Thank You. 🙏 Namaste
I am 74. My health insurance company wanted me to list all the medications I was taking. I just put down "none". Then I was sent a letter stating that I had incorrectly filled out the form and I needed to list all my medications. Again, I put down "none". They finally stopped sending me letters. 🙂
GSK bought and then shut it down as they couldn't replicate his results, which he stands by. He could be a conman but we will know soon enough with his increasingly fantastic claims, which will be easy enough to verify in the near term@@ehssandariani8041
@ehssandariani8041 you know that I don't believe it and if David Sinclair wasn't there today we wouldn't be here talking about these things and we wouldn't be here enjoying the benefits of so many molecules discovered by him and other scientists in the field!!!
Sinclair is to human health and longevity. What Tesla was to electricity and physics. Hopefully he stays alive and his work is accessible to all of us.
He said "I'm all for health, I'm not for profit as a primary goal" at 38.22, but this is difficult to believe since he tried to corner the market with his NMN thing to make it less available so he could earn more money.
The pandemic proved that its not easy to just give everyone a cure shot…so it would be hard to create a pill that will reage everyone if some have certain health conditions. However for most it’s very promising 🎉
@@letsgobrandon1906it didn’t need a cure, it’s just a cold/flu. People who were in bad health already were the only ones who died, just like every other year of the flu ever.
I think we all can slow the aging process down. Even Daniel in the Bible proved a plant based diet prolonged your life. We owe it to ourselves, our families, and mankind to try and maintain our bodies. This just proves we all could live longer and be in superior health.
His facial expressions and answers to NMN being taken off the market is concerning... The FDA should take it off the market because a biotech company is starting a clinical trial? Wtf? So if a company wants to do a clinical trial on fish oil it should be taken off the market? Makes no sense other the corruption. David Sinclair has been a huge inspiration to me but I still don't trust his answers in this.
I use stem cell products for my skin and for hair regrowth and they work! I think I’ve even reversed and signs of aging and my hair is now thick! I avoid sugary drinks and I don’t drink much alcohol. I don’t eat apples though due to them being too sweet. I drink hibiscus petal and blue pea butterfly tonics instead of juices. I’m going to try Kratom for it’s anti inflammatory abilities. I also put some of the stem cell media on my gums when I had some minor pain and the pain went away completely within a day.
I switch and add supplements. I use specific supplements for physical exercise. I use mushrooms and Dr Amens brain supplements. I use supplements to support my eyesight. And on.. magnesium treonate so good for brain and sleep too. Aging is about keeping healthy.
For alle the people who want to be healthy and live a great life today: Don't let mainstream medicine fool you. You can change your life today. Deep dive into two topics 1. Self-esteem/ Vibration/ Letting Go and 2. Paleo Diet
We all want this to be true and to help but the way they are introducing this is kinda cringy. Reminds me of the shitcoin ponzi pump & dump "Im here to help humanity" conversations during the crypto craze. Why not share the specific study links below?
Oh yeah buy his resveratrol, he sold it for millions and the pharmaceutical industry had to drop it because not only it doesn’t work but it causes more aging.
I think anyone who ridicules someone for studying something because it's "too complicated" is just defending a fragile ego afraid of focusing on what they can't achieve or what someone else is capable of achieving that they are not.
I keep a journal of everything I eat and every vitamin and supplement I take. I have been doing this since 1990. Doing this has helped me identify what works and what don't. It has paid off big time. I am 74, feel great and running around like a little kid. I highly recommend keeping a journal to log your progress to better health.
im 75 and I also run around like a little kid but didnt spend half my life taking track of everything that went in my mouth, so I guess it could go either way
I'm about to be 90, and I still feel like I'm 15, with the same brain fog, tiredness, nervousness, and stress. In short, I still feel awful." I only feel good while I'm playing sports; training sports makes me feel dreadful. I play sports virtually every day because I want to feel well. Win or Loose, I dont care, I have fun with a good performance, Always trying to get better at new sports. I'm 30 and my life has been a flop due to serious mental health problems. Knowing that there's a way to make up for lost time and get a do-over is exciting. I hope this pans out.
Look into photobiomodulation. It could seriously help your mental health issues. I'd consider looking at some studies through a PubMed search. You can use it for your brain, since near-infrared can pass through the cranium.
Realistic hope my friend, I'm 8 years older and I've been in bed most of my life. I have like 10 mental disorders including schizophrenia. In 30 years we could be 30.
I’m 30 as well and I’m in the same boat. As long as ai keeps progressing I think “life” will be longer but as for human form we will have to see. #motivation
I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendations?
@RobertCooper03 How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
@RobertCooper03 Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her resume.
I used to invest like this: Get up and go outside. Go to your local stores. Go to Targets, Walmarts, and Sporting stores. Go to a car lot, go to rental cars, talk to people, listen to new music... TAKE IN THE WORLD. Next, read articles in your idea investment. Ask yourself what the motivations are? Do they want you to sell, buy, or hold? Look at history, the CEOs track record. (You could look at SEC Filings if they are some. But if you're a non-accountant, it may be too much to understand) Ask yourself how the typical investor of that stock trade? (Profitable investor) You're welcome
Great video. Unfortunately, it is kind of spoiled by Peter's cult-leaderesque manipulation of the audience. Let them clap when the want to clap. Sheesh!
Man has achieved so much that an assessment is imposing itself: aging violates human dignity and unnecessarily interrupts the activities of many creative people: scientists, artists, doctors and many, many others.
I am 28, and have lost my life due to serious depression and never got the same chance to live as everyone around me, and lost out on life completely. This makes me excited to see, that I can make up for lost time maybe and try again.
I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $150k to invest for future, unfortunately l'm a complete noob.
True, A lot of folks downplay the role of professionals until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.
Can't divulge much, it's only right you do your due diligence. I'm been guided by Olivia Maria Lucas and most likely, the internet is where to find her deets.

It's vain and delusional to believe that aging is optional. You can age well or you can age poorly. You can increase your life span and you can increase your health span. But eventually we all decay and die. Making peace with that and preparing yourself spiritually is way more conducive to authentic happiness than chasing the elusive eternal youth.
Religion doesn't work in here my muslim brothers in humanity. Only science does. Your dislike about the matter means nothing and btw, there is no eternal life in heaven after death.
@@afanasymarinov2236 In the Bible, God gave many of his human creations extreme long life. It has always made me wonder why no one questioned this too much. It's as if to say humans used to live much longer, literally.
My grandfather lived from 1897-1997. When asked how he was doing he skyways said, “ I’m doing 100”. On his 100th birthday he quipped, “ I should have said 103, I could have lived in three centuries”. Not knowing he only had 1 month, 4 days remaining.
My grandfather made to 96. But he was walking to the 7 11 store every day no matter what the weather. I measured the distance. It was three miles both ways or 6 miles a day!😊
Humans were never designed to be vegan. The vegan diet is missing many key nutrients and has anti nutrients like oxalates, phytic acid and lectins. Also issues with bioavailability compared to meat.
I’ve found Beej Mantra chanting or jaap meditation to be beneficial to my health. I start my day with mantra chanting and find that it gives me the energy and positive vibes that prepare me for any stressful day. The important thing is to first choose a God or Goddess that you believe in and revere and then, chant their Beej Mantra daily early in the morn’ between 4 - 6 AM. Chant at least 11 malas (or more if possible). Mantra jaap creates Pranic or Chi energy field that protects you from untimely death (akal mrityu), enemies, misfortunes, etc. Here’s Maa Kali Mantra: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1rR4HQbY14M.html
Vegan plus fasting. David Sinclair is the guy who talks about FASTING. When you're not eating it frees up tons of energy for your body to clean out the cells and repair them.
Sounds like you were malnourished. That’s what makes Vegan or Keto so hard to sustain. If you do it perfectly, it’s great, but it’s so easy to become unhealthy from those things without realizing it or knowing why specifically. I agree with above comment, intermittent fasting (one meal a day is best)
How has he pushed it forward? Resveratrol was a sham that has been disproven multiple times since, and nmn was a dietary supplement found naturally in food that he has now turned into a fda controlled substance. So what exactly has he contributed?
Thanks for sharing this video. I have read both "Life Force" and "Lifespan". I have changed my diet to primarily vegetarian, take supplements, exercise regularly and have implemented restricted eating. I feel great and am looking forward to reading your next book's .Thanks again for the work that you both do regarding health span and life span. I truly feel fortunate to live at this amazing time in human his! RSB
I lost a friend (not as in dying but as in ending the friendship) who got extremely angry when I posted a link to David's book. I said simply that it does appear that age reversal will become possible in the future. He's a professor of biology at a major university and said it's sad that people are falling for this "con-artist." We got into a debate in which he was very condescending. This also sometimes happens in regard to Ray Kurzweil's predictions about nanomedicine keeping us healthy beginning in the 2030s. Unfortunately, there's going to be a great many people resisting the immense changes coming in the next couple of decades.
Or maybe he was right, and David is a con artist. I mean your friend is a Professor of Biology. He should know if it's possible at all. David hasn't come up with one age reversal pull or treatment. Your friend was right.
@@zibtihaj3213 I'm going to be honest, I've been following staying young for about 27 years. That's how long I've been reading about it. It started in Scientific Journal over two decades ago. The thing is it's never going to happen. This aging field has become a cash cow for these Scientists. They need to keep the Cash flowing from investors, so they keep lying and saying all this stuff is right around the corner. The Science is mind-blowing what's coming. All to keep the money flowing in to fund their lifestyle. There isn't one single age reversal pill or treatment that's ever come to fruition. We will start to age around 40, and it's brutal beyond belief. There will never be age reversal at all, just scamming.
@@vickybiagini8623 I simply said that David wasn't selling magic potions out of the wagon but was a well respected Harvard professor. Frankly, I think his own ego won't allow him to think he's wrong regardless of the strides being made in this field. I never suggested it was going to happen this decade but that it seemed quite likely it would eventually be possible to reverse the damage done by the aging process. I think some people are afraid of hoping and then it not working out. Yet, the greatest inventions/ideas come from those with the courage to try to make the "impossible" possible.
@@vickybiagini8623 Published studies rely on evidence and are subject to thorough scrutiny through the peer review process. To the best of my knowledge, there has been no credible challenge to the authenticity or accuracy of David's research. Therefore, the opinions of others, even if they happen to be the most esteemed biologists globally, hold little sway in this matter.
Aging is not optional. We are all going to die, we may slow it but even the universe will end and there is nothing anybody will ever be able to do about that.
The question I would have for @davidsinclaire is how soon will this be available for people like me? and will it be affordable? At 61 do I have any chances to benefit from this?
such research and discoveries are expensive and therefore need to be recovered. So people with money, especially a lot of money, will benefit. Everything is closed by the loop of economic profit. Rich elites fear that there are too many people, so if they are to disappear, they must get sick and live shorter lives. Euthanasia will almost certainly be implemented. The profits from the above medical discoveries will therefore be of an elite nature, and a popular professor will become one of them by becoming rich.
This is a concern of mine. Currently other gene therapies cost about 2 million USD per person. This longevity one to add the OSK genes sadly will probably have a similar cost, so permanently outwith my financial ability.
Probably. Its not that in between the current knowledge and the holy grail there is nothing in between. During that time new things will be discovered that can slow aging and deceases will become curable so youll probably live to see it. Just look at where humanity was 5 years ago to where we are now. Science is in a hyperspeed together with big data and AI. Just live your life healthy with the goal of reaching "immortallity"
Peter D., I saw you walking in Culver City not too long ago. I almost jumped out of my car to say hello and how much I appreciate your work. I figured some strange man jumping from his car may be quite unnerving. I didn’t say hello but still appreciate your work immeasurably.
Does Dr. Sinclair hear himself when he speaks? He says there’s nothing he can do about the ban on selling NMN because he’s not the chairman of Metro Biotech, so he has “no control.” That’s true, he’s not the chairman, but by his own admission in responding to Peter, David stated he’s the COFOUNDER and he’s the VICE CHAIRMAN of Metro. So he has no say in what the company he co-owns does? David also stated the form of NMN that Metro Biotech has submitted to the FDA is unique in form, as it’s “crystalized.” The reputable companies that are selling NMN, are selling NMN in a crystalized form. #liar

No excuse, not to take this knowledge and live happy and healthy lives. I’m glad to listen to this conversation on longevity, medicine and beyond.
I have begun to reverse my damage from bad life choices when I was young. I am only 28 but since starting to take my health and aging seriously. I am feeling like I did energy wise when was 15. I have a lot of epigenetic issues that have been fixed i think. My skin looks better, my endurance is better, my brain inflammation has calmed down and my anxiety and depression are in remission for the first time. These ideas work. It's not nonsense. I am skeptical of health trends but this one has worked.
What a perfect example of a man who's chosen a mission in life, and dedicated his mental facilities and resourcefulness to see that mission through, if more people were like this, the world would literally be eutopia
Not necessarily. Because these treatments will only be made available for the rich first and on a larger scale it must be Regulated because the earths resources are limited. If most people suddenly can live hundreds of years in a young, youthful and "wasteful" way/state, then the world would be a dystopia, because most people then would not be able to sustain a even near-luxourious Lifestyle. And then the question needs to be asked: do you want to live very long even though you cant really enjoy life because the resources are not there?
@@dimarak8866 yup and also how do we deal with the fact that less people will be leaving due to old age and you will still have new people being born each day... there will have to be some kind of birth control introduced or overpopulation will be a serious issue.
@@anab0lic that’s a very good concern you brought up. My understanding is that as countries “develop“ birth rates fall significantly. Right now countries that are wealthy are only growing in population because of immigration. The estimates for continued population explosion seem to have almost universally been revised to somewhat quick plateau and then potential fall around the turn of the next century. Of course, we shouldn’t rest in the areas of sustainability and ecological stewardship.
People like him are afraid of death and make their life shorter every day because of that. just eat healthy and don't stress. don't think about it too much it will shorten your life.
I truly hope what you guys are talking about is true. Why does it feel like once again the rich folks are the beneficiaries of this advancement in science and technology like everything else and if it is not real this is a cruel joke.
This man looks like he is in his 50s and what are people seeing. He dyes his hair, Botox, and have that old man look. He doesn’t look younger. Tell me what do they see. I have been watching this guy for years and I see him aging and not getting younger. He keeps his weight off and that is it.
He emphatically claims that he doesn't dye his hair nor use Botox. However, in this new vid his face certainly looks strange and motionless. Perhaps he just woke up? As can be seen, I am 55, and look younger that him, and am much leaner and fitter. I don't dye my hair nor did I undergone any cosmetic procedure, but have some gray hair on the sides. I apply Sinclair's methods for 5 years now. It certainly made my physical and mental condition better. However, your skepticism is certainly not out of place.
Yes you can slow down aging , but you cannot stop it . I remember Paul C Bragg talking about living to 120 , Paul died at 81 , Bernarr McFadden talked about 125 , he died at 87 , Jack LaLanne's book was live life forever , Jack passed at 96 . First of all one meal a day is not the way to go. I don’t care what you say you don’t take in enough protein you’ll be in a negative protein balance and not be able to build muscle. Please see Dr. Gabrielle Lyon.
We're going to need a lot more offices/clinics or whatever where people can go to do supervised fasting. People are saying theyve been cured of all these crazy diseases and stuff but the vast majority of ppl are too afraid to try it cuz theyre on different meds and stuff.
In five years time, if I see Peter getting younger than now, then I would be convinced. For now I am doubtful. It is certainly possible but we do not have "the solution" as yet.
My alltime favorite movie is The Fountain, in which Hugh Jackman says, "death is a desease, it's like any other. And there is a cure. A cure - and I will find it". I just hope I live long enough to witness this moment in our existence.
It's also the same movie that says, "Death is the road to awe." So the message is rather different. I think aging is a disease, but death itself is different.
We might with him saying we'll get human trials in the next couple years with at least eyesight. Might even be well along enough combined with AI for quicker results.
All the human genius & progress throughout history don't amount to the first human to live forever. That that person is alive on earth today is a humbling realization. I hope that I'm not too far gone to join her/him some day.
Going carnivore reversed a laundry list of health issues that I had. When people speak of longevity and then eat a mainly or exclusively plant diet lacking in tons of nutrients, it's hard to take them seriously. My diet is easy to OMAD on without requiring the ridiculous amount of supplements these guys need. Then they speak of what we are genetically designed for... well, cavemen weren't painting tubers and plants on walls.
