Awesome! I'd like to see the results of this in better lighting. Direct sunlight often 'blows out' images and you don't get a true depth of color. Just after the sun goes down or on a cloudy day makes for better images. Regardless, I trust this works and you got the results you were after.
Howdy brother- I’ve seen where this has been done but it was on yellow pine and it was really dark, not what aged yellow pine actually looks like. I’m guessing they left the steel wool in too long. I’ve aged some timbers but I used a different method. What you did looks good. Hope all is well. Take care and God’s blessings to you
I tried it as well but leaves a rusty smell, bothers me a lot fo inside house use. Also I wonder that the wood is aging with chemicals, propably is weaker now to the weather when used outside. Any thoughts??
