@@NarendraKumar-rg1bc The maya vadas think that it is not possible, that out of consciousness (vasudeva) emerges the lifeforce (samkarsana). They also object that the lifeforce cannot produce mind, in the same way samkarsana cannot produce pradyumna, the mind. Further the adherents of shankara think that it is impossible for the dreamer (pradyumna) to create the cosmos (aniruddha), and they think that mind cannot create the ego. Thus was shankaras refutation of the pancaratras. However, shankaras followers forget that their life goes exactly like that - they are sleeping, then dreaming, then waking. Shankara thinks that samkarsana and pradyumna etc cannot be as good as vasudeva due to the "flaw" of one being created out of the other. However, i came to know that of the four major vaishnava sampradayas, the 2 schools focussing on narayana are dualistic (brahma and sri sampradaya) and the schools focussing on krishna are monistic (namely rudra and kumara sampradaya - see shudhadvaita..) It is fascinating, but true; This may stem from the fact, that narayana is saguna brahman, and vasudeva is tad ekatma rupa - the nirakar, niranjara, nirguna brahman. Rare is such a soul, who knows that all are vasudeva alone! Oh, but ISKCON has to twist these truths, because their guru was afraid these monkeys would torch down the sampradaya - and they did torch it down. Trying to be worshiped as god! But then they are weasels who preach that we are seperate from krishna! OUTSIDE of iskcon, not ONE devotee believes that. vaishnavism is the largest hindu denomination, and half of it are pure monists (shuddha - advaita) Only the followers of caitanya are dualistic devotees of krishna - all others are nondualists - not mayavadis, but they know that they are it. It seems to me the hare krishnas often think that all devotees are also dualists like them - caitanya was expressing bhedabheda - like nimbarka! But i have not heard 1 of their devotees say it like that, they always have to twist and bend themselves a little, because they dont wanna admit that they too are vasudeva. Other than vasudeva, nothing exists. But the funny thing is that caitanya was himself a monist, haha, as was nityananda. 600 million vaishnavas, but ISKCON claims to speak for them all. This is the real issue why iskcon crumbled; Changing books, twisting a little, twerking a little, "but oh, lets not translate the upanishads or they would all become monists" hahaha.. Hiding from themselves so they can kiss their own ass. They took hold of all temples, but they preach dualism and not bhedabheda. 600 mio vaishnavas, and ISKCON has SULLIED krishnas name so bad that the west does not know that others adore krishna, other than the iskcon people. Read the laksmi tantra. Tat tvam asi - that adhoksaja, who is lauded in hymns (suktas), he is you! Dont listen to the dualists, nor listen to the mayavads. Listen to the RIVER. Go to the next river, sit there, and listen. Quiet your mind, and expand it into the sky. By listening, you shut off the mental babble! Be stablished in that, in the turiya stage, as the witness. Read the upanishads for yourself. And if you want a community, why not join one of the four sampradayas? Around 600 million vaishnavas, all of them adore krisna or narayana! Not mayavadis, but still most devotees are monists. Krishna is not separate from you! Saguna brahman is narayana, nirguna is vasudeva, and para is krishna. You are both atman and paramatma - this is the conclusion of the upanishads. If you desire moksha, sing the mantra of 12 syllables. Everyone can chant it; aum namo bhagavate vaasudevaya. Many of the great personalities like dhruva and others achieved MOKSHA and DARSHANA by this mantra. It does not require initiation. Other mantras like the 18 syllable mantras (klim krishnaya govindaya gopijana vallabhaya swaha) are described in the narada tantra, a pancaratra text. They yield vimukti, and are explained by him who has five heads (shiva) himself. On their strength shiva became mrityunjaya, conqueror of death. By the way, the laksmi pancaratra says that samkarshana is praised by the somashakti (mrityunjaya hymn), pradyumna by the suryashakti (compared to the purusha hymn) and aniruddha, the cosmos, has agnishakti which is represented by the gayatri mantras and the vyahritis. Let the four vyuhas of the lord surround you inside and outside. Recognize them as your higher self, and in the world; When you have done that, then think of vasudeva krishna as being everywhere, one without a second, and merge your lowly existence in his attributes. You can then retain an eternal identity, after meeting the lord. It is your choice, if you go on the path of bhakti yoga(love), knowledge (jnana yoga), visualization (raja yoga) or act for the summum bonum (karma yoga). All have the same goal. Bhakti yoga (rain) is vasudeva, samkarsana (moon) is raja yoga, pradyumna (sun) is jnana yoga, and aniruddha (agni) is karma yoga! The fourth step of purusha (aniruddha) appears again and again, but the other three (samkarsana, pradyumna and vasudeva) are unchanging. The cosmos is not false, the cosmos is brahman in waking. That is what krishna showed to arjuna - the virat, or form of lord aniruddha. Redemption comes only after you let go. For some it takes a long time, others short. But there is no need to think krishna is a person separated from you. Nor does a monist view (like most adherents of krishna have), diminish your bhakti and seva. You, the created being with hands and feet - that is simply generated by the associative cortex of your brain. It does not exist! Pull on the string and the world vanishes, what remains is the witness, and that is vasudeva himself. END OF DISCUSSION, END OF KNOWLEDGE! Nothing more needs to be said, attain your goal! I, my socalled body, is just a random association of hands feet and the like. But my waking self is the entire cosmos, i am spread everywhere over the earth, with thousands of hands and feet. Aham sarvam - i am everything! Read the narayana sukta, the appendix to the purusha hymn. And read the gopala tapani: *Gopalo ham ajo nityo pradyumno ham sanatanah* "Eternally i am gopala, and forever i am pradyumna!" *Ramo ham aniruddho ham, atmanam arcayed buddhah* "I am samkarshana and i am unobstructed aniruddha", thus thinks the liberated person. gopala tapani upanishad
