Pero surge un problema comun, en muchas ocasiones, si no es uno es otro, dirigen las manos a la ultura del bolsillo, haciendo clara indicacion al dinero (digamoslo asi). Tambien se nota de manera muy marcada una especie de competencia y/o diferencia entre los integrantes, por sobre todo entre las dos mujeres del frente, la que canta y la que esta de espaldas. Cuan mayor inmenso seria el fruto de este trabajo de no ser por estas cuestiones. Y para decir lo mas importante, es una alabanza a la Santisima Virgen, por lo que esto mensionado anteriormente es de un pesar mayor.

It was the language was spoken till 40-50 years ago by a large amount of population and was taught in schools. It was replaced by " demotiki" the language of working classes.
No, nothing papist here. It is an Orthodox hymn, written by one of our great 20th century Orthodox Saints & set to music by an Orthodox monastery. And it is performed by Orthodox faithful within an Orthodox Church, in an Orthodox country. But papists regularly pinch Orthodox hymns...

The original IS Greek, composed by St Nectarios of Aegina. But it has been translated into every language spoken by our Orthodox people throughout the world, it being a much beloved hymn by all Orthodox, to whom it belongs, as a way to hymn our Mother & Queen.
