Film The Green Border was published months before polish election and was sponsored by political opponents of than ruling party Also ms Holland was active critic of Polish gov, long before the migration crisis hit. She is a deeply hurt and frustrated person longing for the 'good old times' of the Soviet Union. Her father was an officer in the Soviet army and a communist activist. He was responsible for pacification of partisan brigades fighting against soviet regime. Ms. Holland is a person deeply offended by the Polish nation, which in the 80s and 90s rebelled and rejected the USSR, communist regime and people like her father, and ruling party at the time claimed to be heirs to the Solidarity movement that fought against communist regime in the PRL. It is true polish tragedy that 30 years after collapse of USSR people like that still receive international recognition and publicity.

Because it was a far-right government that attacked anyone who had a critical opinion about them. In the case of events at the border, they incited racist sentiments in a disgusting way in order to gain support from extreme right-wingers, of whom there are unfortunately many in Poland.
