I used to think the same way, philosophical metaphorically, always confused never really knowing head going in circles with theories all day, I lived a life of crime since nothing matters anyway, I pray for this brother to find his way back to Islam. When I converted to Islam it changed/saved my life. I’ve never been more at peace EVER. I’m so thankful to Allah he allowed me to see at the age of 22 or who knows where ide be. I can't imagine whatever is going through his mind and heart that he is trying to deny this stuff. Like you see the ones that simply agree etc and it doesn't mean anything to them, why not at least do that so as to at least look rational? The brother did a beautiful job of breaking down the arguments into simply principles that can be applied to anything. Also did a great job showing him that where he thought it was going it didn't actually go. Anyway, hope for the best for him, at least he seemed to be "stunned" by what was said and I doubt he is going to be ready to listen to those making the claims he himself made and saw them get blown out of the water. As a sister myself, I find Allah's wisdom to be so complete and just. As Muslim women we are protected and maintained as all the males in our lives have a financial obligation towards us. This man is not seeing the full picture and comes with a flawed pixel. The injustice in his example is down to the Father not giving a share of the company to his daughter after 20 years of hard graft.
Let alone, this is only the basic situation. There are several situations where a woman receives more, several others where she receives an equal amount, and a few other where she receives less. It all depends on the familial situation, and while more often than not the man receives more, Islam grants us the wisdom not to have 1 outcome for every situation related to this matter but many differents. Somehow this is not shared knowledge, or at least non-muslims don't seem to know the pularity of such rulings...

Inheritance is a right, not a privilege. Case closed. Secondly, the father would be paying her a wage. She got what she deserved already. If I worked 20 years in a corporate company, that doesn't mean I should inherit the company. If the father chose not to give her a share, that's his issue, not Islam's.

It's really good to see he never gets angry or frustrated and tries to be polite and respectful of other's beliefs all the time and also never forces someone to believe him. I think it's important the all of us should be tolerant to each others opinions and beliefs no matter how much they go against our beliefs. I absolutely love their mannerisms and their conduct in how they give Dawah to everyone who is open to listening to the Message of Allah SWT and our Beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH ....
