I have the demo, and you actually CAN push the demon. Doing so, however, she screams and slides down the pillar next to her before pulling herself back up and pursuing to chase you. It scared the shit out of me when I did it. Don't believe me? Get it on Skidrow for PC

3:17 - 3:19 holy fuck i get reminded by spyro the dragon (especially the sparkling crystal sfx)

I absolutely love the audio in this game so far. The purple wispy effects combined with that chime sound are perfect. I know some are saying it seems bland, but to me it looks like an immersive game. I hope it plays such that you have to learn the rules and tricks of hell to navigate your way through and that you can do it at your own pace. Also, this game is early in development so I am sure we will see more game mechanics as it progresses.

This pretty much looks like Hell to me.

Magnificent. I can see myself infront of a TV with all the lights down at night playing this and enjoying every moment of it. A game that is not a typical no-weapons shooter, go and hide. But an actual hell for surroundings and some kindof story, and all this putrid horror, juicy !

Couple of things: -And I thought Doom did a great job of portraying Hell... -Some of the halls are eerily reminiscent of the Paris catacombs. -The game looks like what I would imagine Jeffrey Dahmer's dream house to be. -8:10 Chair legs, heh. -9:20 I really like this creative way of using "lives" by simply possessing another body as the same spirit.

Very cool. Reminds me a lot of that game Dante's Inferno. I also liked details like the giant eyeball or the door ways being surrounded by teeth.

Looks like this game and Scorn are taking lessons learned from Alien: Isolation. I love the ambience and artwork they've put into these. Can't even imagine the potential heart attacks from playing this on a VR headset.

The gameplay is too slow. Is that all you do?

For some odd reason, this doesn't disturb me as it should for this kind of caliber of a genre; in fact I feel more relaxed seeing this unique rendition of hell. To me it's beautiful, and oddly enticing to both sight and hearing. Not a necrophiliac or anything, but there is something about this game that says I'm not scary in traditional sense, but something else.

I loved EVERYTHING about this trailer... the variety of demons... the hung up semi-demon babies and one ripped from his mother's womb... the "cultists" out their minds, weaklings meant only to be possessed... and the chance to outsmart other demons and POSSESS the body of a strong demon! And it seems you can kill weaklings with brutal moves once you're with his body. What's not to like? The journey from lost soul to Demon Lord would be something similar, I reckon. But anyhow, I love the idea that the Abyss is so chaotic and unruled, a mess of an evil anarchy, where MIGHT MAKES RIGHT, even if it's the might of your brain and your superior (unexplained) ability to possess others, giving you a keen edge since you can always get another body after the last was killed. Anyhow, this is more like I imagine Hell... a place of FLESH, of degeneration, of violence and taint. Survive or die. Would be even better if we had to eat those weak-looking minions to survive, or devour their souls to become more powerful... it would make more sense, would explain how the demons get stronger and what they do all the time (they hunt weaker "food"). I love this more and more each trailer released! It has reached a point where I don't even care how the story goes, I'm gonna buy this just for the immersive ambient!

It seems it uses similar mechanics to alien isolation with the emphasis on hiding rather than fighting, which is great for building tension.
