This is very different than beef production on the Western Great Plains. most feeder companies are larger than MN total production. There is also much less feeding time as there are stocker cattle 450 to 7 hundred wt. On wheat pastures with supplemental feed, most are not fed on feedlot operation over 1300 lbs for leaner beef.

First the comentator tells that pasture grazed cattle need more land and then not even 1 minute later the feedlot owner states that he has 2000 acres of corn and soybean for the cattle.... o_O
with rotational mob grazing you get MORE cow acres than standard grazing. this model in my opinion is outdated. regenerative ag and Joel Salatin is the future
