Great Video, in my farming career Fords were the dominant tractors and our family owned a super major, a 3000, Y series, 4000, 4600 and a 5000, thanks for sharing
We have a Ford 6600 with 16000 hours on it. Engine has not been touched. Only thing it's had is a new water pump, radiator, clutch, tie rod ends and tires. I do like my Tw-5, probably why we have two of them. A series 1 and 2.
I thought the 5 was the series 2 only? the first set was white decal Q cab Tw-10,20,30 then the next was the light blue with q cab Tw-15,25,35 and then the Series 2 with SQ Tw-5,15,25,35?
I love my Ford tractors! They're reliable, easy to repair, and parts are available everywhere at reasonable cost. It's a shame New Holland bought them out just to put there main competitor out of business.
If you could find the intercooler assembly from a 35 and fit it, then a couple of turns of the pump you would have your 170+ on the shaft if you wanted to stay with original output of the 35.. Or just say fuck it and screw her out to 200 on the shaft, if you don't mind smoke
