There is a lever in between the two controls I mentioned. You pull towards you to close and push away to open both of them have a groove that you can move the lever into to keep the flow to attachments engaged…. big fan of your work reg!!!
@bradybraunbb Thanks. I though I heard you mention tree work. I have the same machine, but only with the bucket I'd assumed that was the only control needed but then read something yesterday saying you had to activate the flow inside first. Couldn't understand what they were talking about. I am having a really hard time getting a grapple in Canada. They either won't sell one to you unless you have your machine or they try to gouge yoy by +4 of what the attachment costs in the US. Or you need to apply for an import/export license from the border control agency to clear customs. Looking more likely that I'll have to build my own.
I got one from northern tool shipped to the store near me. It was 1400. I got one that was light weight and I hate it… it’s bent up and I only have 10 hours on it if I could do it again I would try forks with a hydraulic beak or weld some added support where it needs it
If I was going to depend on one machine everyday, I would bite the bullet and buy a name brand loader. That being said it’s better than nothing and having to load by hand sucks. The biggest obstacle for this machine on site doing tree work is that it doesn’t have great hinge pin height.
Dude yes awesome real world notes about it, if you could video some use with it lifting the logs that would be sweet! I was going to get one of these primary use for spreading mulch but I’ve got a lot of trees and thinking now a tractor might work better at my property. Cheers!
@@bradybraunbb I keep reading that the operation of a constant flow attachment that one of the tracks will tend to be weaker causing a need to constantly adjust when going forward. I want to use this machine as a light weight, non commercial, brush cutter.
I got the nortrac grapple from northern tool I chose it because it was light weight! Like I said it wasn’t a great fit but I welded some square tubing in to protect the tilt hydraulic
