This area, Costa Blanca, has an amazing beach boardwalk. And condos here are more affordable than in our city, Portland, Oregon. We love a walkable and accessible city. The house prices here are among the best value in Southern Costa Blanca, the north being significantly more. There is everything you need with hospitals, health centers, shops, banks, restaurants and entertainment. We have lived here part-time (90 day rule) since 2017 and we love the area. I had a cod and chips at tweetys last week, very filling and excellent chips, super crispy battered cod and some mushy peas on the side, as good or better than in UK. Flew here from Antalya last week to check Alicante area out, great weather for middle of January, warmer than Turkish Riviera

@@BetweenTheLakes I checked Altos Luminar and surrounding Torretas, La Sieta and Chaparal area, also city centre area, Molino and AguasNueva etc. coastal areas going to LaMata, also Qeusada and the LaMarina urb. Then Alicante outer areas and north of Alicante towards Benidorm. So much on offer and so many areas, its hard to decide where to possibly settle
i also have had great fish n chips here, then had a beer next-door and played cards bingo on a evening, our friends place was 15 minutes walk from here at the back of the mercadona/lounge bar.
Hi Peter, I think the charge from these machines varies according to your bank or card. I have a Wise Euros account. I have yet to use a cash machine but I've heard there is a bank in town, in Torrevieja where it is free to get cash.
