Agust D is ranked as one of the most influential producers and songwriters in South Korea, who won multiple awards over the past few years, including best producer. He has two self-produced mixtapes: "Agust D" (2016) and "D-2" (2020), which broke several records on music charts worldwide. I love your reaction. Little theoretical backgroud on the MV: Agust D is ordinary man that does his work on this world and the ruthless king is his ego. You can actualy see that the scar on the face of the king is fresh and on Yoongi is healed. Propably what he supposed to be in this word. In the begining of the MV 1:14 (in your video) he made a deal with the man from the market. You picked up pretty much everything :D nice. Even with his dead soul, when the beat changed, he was blindfolded from the word and it´s wonders by money, power, house... He wanted to have it all but it slowly turns him into mad king. He doeasn´t want to be destroyed by his ego so at the end the man from market remindes him of who he is and gives him help - the gun, so Yoongi can kill his ego (mad king) Did I forgot something? This is just a little theory, the interpretation depends on what you see when you look at it but this is just a liitle BTS tactics for people to figure out why they do what they do and understand or even just enjoy the vibe. Did you listen to BTS before? This is the band that he is a part of. You can check their rap works. There are 2 more rappers. They are very talented. You can check Ddaeng, Ugh, (lyric video or/and live and explanation video, there is a lot of cultural things we do not know about) Outro:Tear (lyric video and/or live). There are no music videos for these songs. Also they did 4 Cyphers. These are fire. I recommend you to check these Cypher 1, 2, 3, 4 lyric videos. The band itself is great. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. If you want to check them I reccomend Fake love, Mic Drop, Black swan, On and you can check their latest MV for song Butter. They have large range of genres and do not stick to one style

A fun fact about this scene is that the scroll drawing of Bang PD has its origins in a sketch made by Jungkook. The King is unimpressed and has him captured whereas Agust D is equally unbothered and is headbanging to his own beat. He reiterates the word “daechwita” announcing the arrival of the real King, Agust D.

Min Yoongi loves those historical dramas, that they film in that built up filming set.. Usually it is fully booked for years in advance.. But there was this little pandemic that had emptied the filming set.. And this poor boy from Daegu, who ran from home and into the capital to follow his passion doing rap, got to climb on to the emperor's palace and in into the throne.. That belongs him by his literal blood.. He is the relative of the last Empress of Korea... (Also bearded dude fighting the other happens to be late realtive to earlier royal blood.. But more importantly two guys fighting are BTS's oldest {bearded} and youngest.)

I really love Rap ever since I was 12 years old till now that I am 33 with 4 kids, aside from loving Rap,what I love Suga/Agust D is that he is very talented, when I heard him Rap I felt like I vecame 12 again where I used to Rap and composed.. I also love him because he is humble and love the teamwork of all BTS to succeed and overcoming struggles together💜

Haha just for fun, please check out the butter mv. It’s only BTS’s 2nd English single, the performance at the bbmas last night too. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard suga rap in English, haha it’s so intriguing. I think that’s what got me hooked, their duality is astounding, you never know what to expect, they sing rap dance and they’re a genre on their own. If you like the rap specifically then I’d watch agust d by agust d (suga in BTS), joke by RM (another BTS rapper), and maybe Ddaeng by the whole BTS rap line. All of their songs are deep and meaningful, and are typically not translated well, especially the rap bc it gets complex with the wordplay and cultural expressions/references. I suggest watching explanation vids as well. Please get into it, you won’t be disappointed!

Nobody mentions that he drives a car into the Joseon period of Korean history with modern clothes, and gun, Suga is a genius. Daechwita is Korean traditional marching music played when the King or Royalty and important guests visit, and when the Army would be on the march. Suga aka Agust-D is both the bad King and himself using an alter ego to become Agust D it frees him up to do his solo music. In Korea the more adult content is not in approval, since it does not have the lower standards of the U.S. and western countries as far as language, smoking sexual references, to have a bigger entrance in the western marketplace. All the BTS members have been doing more adult content in solo music for the West. They have also wanted to try to go solo because they never had the chance when all members were usually writing music, coming up with choreography and going on tour their schedules were grueling and now they have taken to doing their own solo music because in Korea there is mandatory military service which everyone must do within a required time frame. They wanted to take this time to go solo and will return as a group after they have all been discharged. In this day and age, it would be a good idea for leading countries to do the same. Jin and J Hope have already entered the military, the boys that haven't joined yet are RM, Suga, Jimin, Tae or V, and Jung Kook.
