i was sruggling with deep depression since years and it was suga who made me reborn i remember when i listened to THE LAST it was a revolution for me i am thankful to him
I found bts when i was 9 yrs old (The time when rm said that we all lost our names) i started getting depressed when i turned 9 and Music is the way to get better
He’s always had a bit of a chip on his shoulder because the Rap line has constantly gotten shit from other Korean rappers for not being “real rap/hip hop” because of their Idol status so I feel like this is him letting loose in a way he can’t when he’s working with the group
I think this happens because a lot of the time when you hear rap from mainstream rappers or whatever, you don't really know who that is since you aren't involved with them. Sure, some are definitely just posturing lol, but that doesn't mean that others don't have actual beef or other problems going on, that you just don't know about
Daegu Town (D town) is also Yoongi's underground hip-hop group's name, so it basically means where he come from, the underground scene and his home town
YES! Also, pause all you want we love to see appreciation! Next I suggest Ddaeng! It's just the rapline and it's one of their best. Also check out Blood, sweat and tears or Dionysus for something different. BST has a music video and it's a masterpiece. Dionysus doesn't but I suggest checking out their live performances while listening. They gave a performance of their career when they performed it at Melon music awards 2019. HIGHLY recommend you watch that performance.
I love that you pause and break this down , a big part of why BTS got big are their lyrics...and yup you DO NOT mess with Suga or Agust D. He is also a very open rapper, he talks about his life and struggles..so if you wanan dive into some darker shit - THE LAST by AGUST D is the way to go
nah they didn't get big because of their lyrics stop caping and i watched every single mv for them and i saw the lyrics most of them are normal and some of them are weak as hell but u guys are overrating them so hard :>
@@migzrben bro if you've seen their lyrics than you're capping. They have so much meaning either against korean society, loving yourself, their hard work and dedication through the industry that despised them and many more.
@@migzrben I d say I have a pretty good general knowledge of current pop, and I can say with confidence that no their lyrics are far superior to the current american pop stars, not even gonna try to compare them to other groups. Maybe you relate to some other songs more, but that is you..and seemingly you are a minority...and it is easy to write good songs for a minority of ppl, it is a lot harder to write a good song for a majority..which BTS does .
Welcome to the world of savage SUGA! This is not just a diss track, this is his response to haters who looked down and made fun of him bc he became an idol rapper, leaving undergound hiphop scene. Haters were too harsh and brutal. However look at where BTS are and where the haters are now. Suga prooved himselves with only hard work and dedication.
I always assumed that the K-Rap scene was just this kinda hollow echo of us here in the states - all style, no substance. I was wrong, and I apologize. Holy shit.
I suggest you listen to Agust D's self titled mixtape (the name Suga goes by on his solo projects). It's raw, powerful and nothing short of amazing. Some people who listened only to the title track think of it as a diss album but it's so much more than that. It also features songs about loneliness, alienation, fear of failure, depression... Mental health is still a taboo topic in South Korea but Yoongi was one of the first singers there to raise awareness about it with his music. His goal from the very beginning of his career was to help people find comfort and reassurance through his songs. I also suggest you listen to the song Shadow that he wrote and produced for BTS. It not only showcases his crazy rap abilities but it's quintessential of the themes that he explores in his music.
I don’t know too much about rap in general, but I enjoy it thanks to these guys. Same for many people who might have been afraid of rap because their parents didn’t understand it. But segueing from Kpop into K-Rap into American Rap has gotten an audience out of people who might not have thought about listening to rap originally. It’s cool to meet in the middle with people like Scruface and you.
I sugest you to check out RM mixtape "mono" my personal fave from this mixtape is moonchild and forever rain. RM had a beautiful lyric on his rap, im sure you'll love it
vfaulkon ~~~ kpop actually is more about the visuals & choreo & catchy beats , BTS is an exception since they co-produce & co-compose their own songs with high intellectual & meaningful lyrics … plus 2 of the members were underground rappers before... (though there are other talented kpop groups aside from BTS like Mamamoo, Stray Kids, Ikon, etc .. mostly are just for entertainment) however if u like this kind of stuff I think u will like ‘k-hiphop or k-rap’ more than kpop But u might also wanna check BTS rappers songs: BTS - cypher 1-4 BTS - ddaeng BTS - ugh BTS - tear RM ft Wale - change Jhope - 1 verse RM ‘ mixtape - RM album - Moni album Jhope’s mixtape - Hope world album Suga’s mixtape - Agust D
@@emanon7945 I know it is about August D. I watched it, and I thank him for the reaction. That's why I liked it and subscribed it. I'm just trying to recommend a different song by a different member. No need to isolate me, streetwise A.
i remember the first time i watch this mv i was so impressed by yoongi's crazy flow but then i turned on the subtitles and my jaw dropped to the floor.. this rapline is insanely talented and know how to clapback to their haters
Honestly, the "polite" lines always hit the hardest - I'm sorry you're not as good as me - Please take care of your health - Thank you for worrying about me - Billboard, sorry; worldwide, sorry; Mum I'm sorry, your son is too successful
There’s always at least ONE highlight in your reactions where I start laughing my ass off😂 btw, you know if captions are wrong if they say “auto generated”. If they don’t say that, you’re good👍🏽
Thank u for reacting! You absolutely got the message of the song, Suga left the under ground rap world to join Big Hit entertainment (he auditioned to become a song writer but in the end he was asked to be part of BTS as a hip hop group which later became a kpop group) His peers in the underground hip hop world critisized him alot for being in bts and leaving the underground scene saying he did it cus he got tempted by the money when in reality BTS were struggling so much and Big Hit was a company on the brink of bankrupcy, Suga just wanted to create music proffessionally. In this song he’s just dissing his critics and fellow rappers that mocked him for being an idol, saying that he’s still himself doesnt matter the label. You should react to RM’s Joke next 🙏🏻
I appreciate u doing the pauses and also going crazy on tje reaction, just do your thang and please do more reactions, react to agust d he dropped an album, several songs, its a hittt
"tongue technology' is his own phrase for how fast he spits. Loving your reactions to these guys. You take them seriously when Korean rappers don't as they went the K-pop route.
"Y'all get turned on by my tongue technology." I think this line has double meaning. The first being that his haters will be turned on/triggered by his raps. And the second being cunnilingus for his fan girls.
Please react also to Suga's "The Last"... This is very emotional rap he made which is also included on his mixtape.. He addresses depression, mental health, OCD, social phobia and cost of fame.
Just a lil thing missed by the subs bc it’s savage and i love it. The ‘yall get turned on by my tongue technology’ he actually says he’ll send you to Hong Kong with his tongue technology... sending someone to Hong Kong is a Korean euphemism for giving someone an orgasm. He talks this kinda shit in his cypher 3 verse too ✌️
Maybe you can do a remix of this too. I really want to know what you are able to do with this one.Well we all know that Suga is Savage and we all love a Savage Min Yoongi.
💜 This has to be one of the BEST reactions I’ve seen for Agustd!! I’ve loved this rap for years and you helped me see a new side of it. Great Reactions - keep being you! 💜
First off, you killed it in your Ugh Remix!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Second we appreciate your genuine reactions and your energy during your reactions is contagious. I get hype all over again, even when I have already seen the video you're reacting to! Keep it up, you got a faithful subscriber in me. Check out RM Joke, BTS Airplanes Part 2, and Baepsae, seeing as we have nothing but time on our hands in this Pandemic 😏
Livin for your facial expressions and head bangin in your reaction!! 😂 Def listen to this whole mixtape, the energy, the raw honesty, the lyrics, the flow will no doubt grab your attention, and for me, is one reason why I’m Min Yoongi (aka Suga aka Agust D) biased. “The Last” will rip your guts out and maybe induce a tear or two. 💜💜
Augst D and Suga are one in the same but like a split personality in my personality. As an Idol he has to act a certain way, but when he's Augst D, he can give it all and get it all out with how he feels with all words in the dictionary. I ain't gonna lie Suga is my rap bias cause he's always raw
The thing about Yoongi (SUGA/ AGUST D) is that he literally does every kind of genre. And he kills all of it. If you listen to 'give it to me' and then to 'suga's interlude', both are so different of eatch other yet so powerful. 'The last' and 'so far away' are also good recommendations. Thank u so much for ur kind reaction. Stay safe!
I'm so proud right now. I love how you find ways to understand it, you pausing is no problem. That's our AGUST D and his whole mixtape is liiiiiiiiiiiit 🔥💜
Big Hits videos supply the correct captions. Suga would never allow the wrong captions to be wrong with his videos. Suga is the Best Rapper, makes our blood boil. Plus he writes and produces music, dances, sings, is so unique and intelligent. The name on this Music Lab door reads: GENIUS - and he is.
He spells out Agust D when he says “A to the G to the U to the STD” and when he says “im a D boy because I’m from that D” he means he’s from his home town Daegu. He also has a follow up song called give it to me.
Rap line songs you should check out: Joke by RM, Outro: Tear by BTS, Ddaeng by BTS, and Airplane or Daydream by Jhope. Songs by the group you should also check out: Dionysus, Fake Love, Truth Untold.
The pauses and analyzing of the video and lyrics is highkey my favorite part. Love it when reactors actually show an effort to see what's going on and I definetly see that from your videos.
4:42... I just lost it at this point! I'm wheeeeezing this dude is ma fav reactor on YT right now. The most hilarous and honest reaction videos on BTS ever. Love it!
The thing about Agust D is , he’s says what everyone else is scared to, & also just says wtf he wants how he wants. And he’s never dissing someone in particular it’s just like , if the shoe fit...lace that bitch up😭
I rarely ever comment on videos, but man your videos are such a joy! Your reaction is so genuine and fun to be a part of. Live it up you for sure just got a new subscriber.
You should react to ‘The Last’ by AgustD. I doesn’t have a music video, so you should watch a lyric video. The lyrics are really deep and it’s honestly one of my favorite songs of all time.
Now you know. Suga is savage to his haters and rappers in Korea that are beneath him. At the same time he has so much love for Army. We have seen him cry and be so humble for the love he gets from us too.
We may not personally understand whatever they are saying, what is more important is that we can feel the vibes and hype of their musics! Suga's rap skill is no joke and so is yours man! Want you to cover some of their raps. You killin' it man!
Thank you for pausing and taking the time analyze and talk about how you feel about the song. Suga loves to talk his talk. He always says what's on his mind and makes the song go hard while he does. If you want more like this, check out "give it to me" by Agust D.
I have started binging not only all your BTS content but your other stuff too and I gotta say, I love how you are so genuine in your reactions. I also am hoping that y'all have a collab someday cause I would lose my mind XD
This content!!!! You never dissapoint! Hope you can also check these songs out of BTS 💜 RM - Joke, Do You, Persona Jhope - Ego, Airplane, Daydream Suga/Agust D - Shadow, The Last, Nevermind RM & Wale - Change BTS - Born Singer (their version of Jcole’s Born Sinner) BTS’ Rapline - Ddaeng (including the Ddaeng Explained video) Sorry its a lot. 😅
I'm enjoying really well your reactions, I loved them, your appreciate and you feel the music in every concept, the lyrics, the meanings, the music, I enjoy them so much
i really enjoyed this reaction (i enjoy all your bts reactions though). there’s a whole agust d mixtape which you should definitely check out and then i also suggest RM’s ‘Joke’ and j-hope’s ‘one-verse’! J-hope and RM each have individual mixtapes as well :)
I visit your page often just to watch 4:42 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for appreciating these dude's work and giving some of the best and REAL reviews I've watched.
