The reason he's attacking ppl is because he's attacking his haters. When he first joined bts and became an idol, a lot of people called him a traitor claiming he betrayed underground rap. This was him confronting his haters and saying he was done with them.
Agust D is part of a group called BTS he is one of the groups rappers/producer he goes by SUGA , Agust D is his alter ego and this is his solo stuff produced by him also this video some of the translations got messed up or was not properly translated. all the other members have solo song as well the group consist of 3 rappers and 4 vocalist you should check out the cyphers 1,2,3,4 who consist of all 3 rappers there 🔥🔥

He got a lot of shit when he joined BTS. He was literally called a ‘girl’ by other rappers in South Korea who said he sold out for success and wasn’t a real rapper anymore; some in hip-hop looked down on kpop groups. This is kind of a response to that hate. Some other good Agust D songs are: - Give it to me - The Last - First Love - Burn It (feat MAX) - Seesaw You should react to BTS too! But only if you’re into kpop. Honestly, it mite not be your thing. They do a variety of genres, but it’s a lot of pop music. Some of my favs are: - Outro: Tear (there’s no music video but you can find plenty of live performances - this one is Suga, RM, and JHope together) - I Need U (there’s a music video - this is all 7 BTS members) - Let Me Know (there’s no music video but you can find live performances - it’s all 7 members - Suga wrote this one for the group) - Not Today (there’s a music video) - Silver Spoon/Baepsae (there’s a hilarious dance practice to this song - look up Baepsae dance practice it’s a lot of fun) - BTS Cypher 4 (no music video but you can find a live performance - this one is just the 3 rappers - Suga, RM, and JHope) Hope this helps! The reason he talks so much sh*t is because through out the beginning of their career, even till now people would talk sh*t saying how their group is bad and they don’t deserve the awards they got and they would never make it. So now he’s like look at me/us now biggest kpop group in the world. International kpop idols :)
If you more into emotional lyrics go to agust d. If you more into flow go to jhope. If you more into genius lyrics go to rm/rap monster. They're in BTS but I won't take you there if you're not really into them so I suggest you to see the rappers first.
Please react to Shadow, Mic Drop, Tear. They also have Cyphers with all 3 rappers of BTS. I think you will also enjoy the other 3 rappers. RM is more technical and great with word play. J-Hope is a dancer so he is more melodic. This is an old MV and the translations don't always come through accurately. For the most part it is good but they word some things in a way that wouldn't fit with the way we speak in english. They have gotten better and you can always look up lyric videos to get another interpretation. You can always ask ARMY ( BTS fanbase) any questions if you want any help with anything including links.
Suga along with BTS's RM took a ton of crap when they left the K rap scene to become Idol rappers with BTS. Idol is a terminology within K Pop used for their performers which engage in an integrated approach to performance blending sound along with performance aspects such as dance, cosmetics, costuming and set design. K rap was mostly a smaller venue scene often emphasizing skills in competitive situations and not particularly concerned with the level of extravaganza and years of training required to succeed in K Pop. Idol rap tends to be viewed negatively and can be subject to ridicule by K rappers but this almost is like a group of people saying for you to be legitimate you have to be part of us. This is idiotic as K Pop has quite a few top rate rappers, BTS being blessed with three. Suga in this song is responding to the criticism saying not only am I better than many of you who make criticisms, but you should be thankful I am no competing in your lane and chose to be an Idol rapper. If you want to see something different from Agust D, try "The Last". It is gut wrenchingly personal and one of the more powerful rap songs I have heard in any genre.

Suga is someone who has gone through a loooot and heard a looot of crap. This seemed like a cathartic album for him~. In real life he is crazy humble and hard-working. But he knows his achievements too =).

Him and RM suffered so much hate for going into the kpop genre and “left rap” and were publicly mocked for years and even like I’m an interview where a rapper that knew them from before just was a complete sick and they didn’t attack him back but tried to explain why what he was saying was wrong... but he just kept talking shit and was beyond disrespectful for no reason. They’re in kpop but they still have some of the best raps I’ve heard in years... and it’s ALWAYS elevated quality.. the bars are crazy and something I think sets them apart is that they’re rapping in Korean and English and they constantly use doubles and triples by using a word in the other language that sounds like something bad or whatever in the other language as word play.. it’s crazy and just so finely crafted and they work so hard to gain respect for being the level of artists that they are. They’re extremely diverse which has opened up their reach to the entire world... it’s incredible really. I’m always shocked I’m kpop at their live performances... these people put on shows for award shows that rival Broadway plays or any music video you’d see from like the US lol it’s wild and I only speak English and I’m American... but I love so much of kpop I’ve found
The Cypers might be something you might like as well. He has had a tough road with so much opposition and haters that surrounded him. He tends to put them in their place now that he made it way farther than anyone said he could or would.
