Not everything Asian related is Chinese yall. I'm saying this in the most polite way possible, PLEASE educate yourselves. Asia is a vast continent with innumerable cultures. Pakistan, India, Bangladesh are as much Asian as Korea, Japan and China. So, "traditional Asian" doesn't exist. And not every Asian alphabet script is Chinese. You're literally reacting to Korean men.

There's no such thing as "traditional asian" like there is not "traditional european" or "traditional north american". BTS is 100% Korean. Korea is a proud culture of over 5000 years of great history and a story of survival despite endless invasions. Everything in this video is Korean; shot in Korea at a Korean temple. Suga, like all Koreans, is very proud of his Korean heritage. "Daechwita" is a traditional Korean music piece used to announce the King's march to battle. Asia is a massive land mass with many different nations and cultures. Please be culturally sensitive. Perhaps you do not have the experience or education to know the distinction but this is one of the reasons why you are reacting to BTS, to open your eyes to something that has always been right in front of you but never paid attention to. This is understandable but please be careful like the guy on the left. It is an insult to reference other asians for Koreans due to their aggressive neighbours (china, criminal japanese occupation, etc). If you don't know, it's better to ask or not say anything. Everything in BTS art has always been to promote Korea, Koreans and Korean culture. You can assume that.

Despite being global I love how bts proudly promote their culture and are connected to their roots.... They're a global pop group no doubt but the fact that they're Korean first will never change and I'm proud of them...... I'm not Korea though 💜💜

FACTS. like, i get so offended when others say: "latin america cUltUre" (im from south america), because there's not only Mexico. Its the same with Asia, there's not only Japan and Korea for making a general point about it. Asia is so big and each country is SO different. BTS are koreans, and like u said, them are proud of be koreans, and this Agust d's song in particular is the example of "if u dont know, dont talk, just ask".

I really think these guys need to educate themselves more. I often see em talking whatever without thinking twice and that's the reason I'm trying to distant myself from this channel. And BTS has more great mvs and songs they should check em out to see how versatile BTS are. I might sound mean but I don't find these guys genuine.

In fact, it describes a palace where a Korean king lived in the past. It is Korean culture and you can see many beautiful palaces when you come to Korea. Daechwita is a traditional Korean marching music performed for kings, dignitaries, or foreign envoys. And in the 07:10 scene, there's alcohol in the bottle, and the executioner slashed the head of the person who was executed while drinking or dancing with a sword while spraying alcohol. They all show Korean traditional culture.

I dont know, as much as i want them to know the background infos for Daechwita i dont really want them to associate with these types of channels. They've been shttng on the boys backhandedly but yeah theres a lot of references for this MV, itll be great to know them

Sharing the same sentiments from fellow Armys on the comments that I too, trying to distance myself on this channel but all of you are not doing their homework. For your reference, do watch the FULL EXPLANATION VIDEO OF DAECHWITA. Yoongi is as philosophical as Namjoon, Jhope, and the rest of the members. Every lyrics on all their songs have meanings. You don't even give time to read all the informative comments of the fans trying to explain. BTS is a versatile group, and has a wide range of music genre. I can't judge them. So For me Korea was Chinese or Japanese traditional brother.. For more I knew Samsung, Kia, Hyundai and then PSY 's Gangnam Style which doesn't show any Korean style, living or sth else.. But after this masterpiece by Suga I started to break my prejudgement about Korean culture and BTS which I had thought bts as balloon.. but then I got into Suga, Learning about him I knew BTS and Korean music, history.. .

agust d is his alter ego, full of rage and anger. in the last clip suga killed agust d (cause suga is finally okay, he has no more anger). fun fact suga has royal blood actually. He is a descendant of the Min clan.
