If you want to check out another member of BTS as well as another genre, you could check out Taehyung/V and his song 'Singularity' which is more of an R&B vibe. Or if you want more rap, you could check out the leader of the group RM, couple of his solos I would recommend would be 'Do you" and 'Joke'. You would have to search for the mv's that have subtitles cause the originals mv's do not have subtitles. But the fans (Army) have made a version with subs. RM's name back then was Rap Moster. From the get-go BTS received a lot of hate. RM and Suga/Agust D responded to their haters in solos, as well as some group projects and sub-unit projects. You should watch Suga/Agust D's "Daechwita". So brilliant. It was the video in the end card on the left at the end of this video. It's the same "two" main characters, but different setting. (Part of a trilogy thematically?) Soooo much meaning in the lyrics as well. You'll love the flows.

Haegeum is a song about unlocking our new potentialities, freeing something previously forbidden. Traditionally, the Haegeum is a two-stringed fiddle held vertically on the knee while being bowed. It appears in records (918-1392), has a particular sound and was generally utilized in court music. For this song Min Yoongi (aka Agust D, Suga) explained in an interview, “the word “Haegeum” came to me when I was young. I played rhythm games, I loved rhythm action games. When beating a certain stage, you’d unlock a forbidden song, then you could play a new rhythm. It was a “freedom from the forbidden.” Why don’t I try and break free from those things? ". Haegeum falls in the middle of a trilogy, Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala, the MV's are intended to be viewed in that order. The trilogy is about internal change, struggles, impactful moments, and self-discovery - artistic freedom, rather then self-indulgence. The more you learn about BTS you will find that they are not 'trend setters' but 'movement makers'.
You guys should watch the trilogy, namely Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala in the exact order. You will find Suga's life story and his strugle until he become who he is today.

He actually made the storyboard for the MV and this part of a trilogy with two other songs, Daechwita > Haegeum > Amygdala. It tells the story of his internal battle with himself and his traumas/demons. Also, Haegeum has 2 meanings. It's a two-stringed instrument and it also means "lifting of a ban".
I'm not sure how much you know about Min YoonGi aka Suga/AugstD....but as you liked his MV then the following info might be of interest to you. Suga/Agust D began writing music lyrics and working with MIDI at age 11 and held a part-time job composing and arranging music at a recording studio at age 16. Active under the name "Gloss" (wordplay on his name YoonGi, which means "to shine") as an underground rapper, He originally entered Big Hit Entertainment as a producer at age 17 and became the second member to join BTS..... At BTS debut in 2013 he was 20 y.o.... he is one of BTSs main producers/songwriters/composers and has over 150 song copyrights.... he also produces for other artists and has won awards for his work. Between his commitments as a member of BTS, Suga/Agust D took advantage of time on the plane and in hotel rooms after concerts to continuously produce and compose music. In an interview for Grazia Korea, Suga/Agust D expressed a desire to release the music he wanted to do without having to consider popular appeal or music ranking. He intended to release his music for free in the form of a mixtape to avoid such considerations, commenting that an album "has a feeling of being trapped in some sort of framework" due to the need for company involvement in promotion and advertising. He has released 2 mixtapes - this is his first official album (of which he continues to maintain full creative control) Developing Agust D musically on the base of hip hop, much of Agust D's inspiration for the lyrics came from his own stories of dream, youth, and reality. Hey Fellas I found your channel via BTS, I love your reaction. 💜 I am definitely going to check out more on your channel because your content is in my wheelhouse. As for this song and other BTS songs, they are a very eclectic group. Suga/ Agust D Haegeum m is a song that's a part of a trilogy. It starts with Daechwita, Haegeym then Amygdala. There mvs for all. His lyrics a very insightful There's lots of meaning in them and he is a rapper rapper. Like all the members of BTS these boys are invited to the cookout. 😏 They have more insight and talent than many American rappers and I don't say that casually as I'm from Detroit. They're inspired by Nas, Eminem, J Cole, and other Korean groups such as EpiK High. I'm sure your ARMY friend can give you a good list. But since you're doing a sampling of them my next suggestion would be j-hope's Arson and then move to RM Still Life with Anderson Paak or RnB english song called Closer with Paul Blanco and Mahalia. That one right there should be played on radio more. 💜💜

In interviews, he talks about the other definition of haegeum: something to lift a ban on what was previously forbidden. This song is a haegum because he wants us to use this to become our true selves and stop hiding the sides of ourselves that we cover because of other people. In this video he shoots himself and we see it unlike when it happens in the previous video. He lights a cigarette and smokes onscreen - something you can't do in K-pop but he's beyond that now and this song is a haegum. If Daechwita was our battle cry, Haegum is what we stand for 🖤💜
I appreciate that they are giving comments but expecting you to go to the OG MV if you want to watch the video in full. It’s not like we don’t know exactly what happens in the MV. The lyrics are layered and it takes more time to fully digest. We didn’t know what Haegeum meant right off the jump either. Now we do. Nice review!
Obviously you don’t know this (yet), but his (Min Yoongi/Suga/Agust D) lyrics should be paid attention to. Go back to them offscreen if necessary. It’s one way to understand who he is. This applies to all of BTS and it’s members. They are not a thoughtless group or individuals. The more you get into him and them, you will realize what truly makes them the superstars and amazing humans that they are. I hope to continue this journey with you, enjoy! The first guy you reacted to was Jimin of BTS. This video Hageum is by Agust D aka Suga of BTS. Now, BTS is known as a group in the genre of K-pop, which is huge, many, many groups and artists. BUT I have to say you started with the best! BTS started 10 years ago as a 7 member group (3 rappers & 4 vocalists). I suggest you check out Mic Drop (Steve Aoki remix). You should also check out Cypher 1,2,3,and 4. Make sure you look for the captions so you can check out the lyrics.

A couple of other people mentioned RM's solo stuff as well to check out. His song Joke is insane. My favorite BTS songs are the ones they write for ARMY. Those are my go-to when I need something to cheer me up. Their song, 2!3! has a special place in my heart. So, I think you cut the music so you can monetize the reaction. I have to be honest, though, I really enjoy you two reacting...but the fact that you go in and out of the video/audio - only allowing sound to be heard for a millisecond at a time but let the video continue to play - drives me batty to the point that I won't subscribe and most likely won't watch entire videos at all. It's just too frustrating.
He's from BTS and they came out 11 years ago, 😂😂😂 some of these western references have nothing to do with them. Wait until you get into their music so you could understand.
I agree that their way of editing the video is sort of frustrating to watch but HYBE will claim their copyrights. Just because a reactor wants to make money from their channel stop attacking them and calling them greedy. Make a helpful suggestion and just move on to your fave reactor.
