Please don't keep Sakamoto san in the dark. His piano is heard throughout the song. This was his final gift to millions of fans around the world. The rhythm is also something he could have created on his synthesizer long before he fell ill. Sakamoto inspired so much of today's music.

Yes, thank you for reminding every one listening to this beautiful song what an exceptional musician Ryuichi Sakamoto was. It must have meant a lot to Suga that he collaborated to Snooze. And yes,Ryuichi Sakamoto has had a lot of influence on musicians and has touched lots of people. Five years ago I was lucky to go to one of his last concerts in Europe.The venue was packed- mostly with young people- unforgettable moment

He never changed. Ik a lot of artists' music starts deteriorating after they get fame cus fans will drink up anything, but he's still the 19 year old with dreams and ambitions and monsters. He's healed now, he's achieved all his dreams now, but he never forgot how it felt back then, and how many people rn are where he used to be. He's always talking about something meaningful in his songs, and I'm so so grateful for it. Suga, thank you so much. You saved a lot of lives. Hope you're happy, and the ones reading it. Hope we all achieve our dreams

Just wanna take a second to point this out, the lines in 3:13 he has used the same line in So Far Away with Suran. A song about not having a dream, a song about being frustrated about not knowing which way to go in life. In So Far Away, Yoongi voices out his frustrations and the emptiness he felt when he couldn't figure out a way in life. And now in Snooze, he uses the same lines. The same lines, in a song when he tells us that he hopes our dreams don't remain just dreams. If So Far Away was for trainee and just debuted Yoongi, Snooze is the Yoongi at the top, telling his fellow artists to have faith in their dreams. I know my explantionation is rather vague but to me, So Far Away is the prologue to Snooze, and I absolutely love how Yoongi established a sort of connection between the two tracks,

I really hope so too. Yoongi said during IU's Palette that BTS never had an idol group in their company before them who they could go to for advice. So he wrote this song so that idols after him could gain strength from it and know that he'll always be there for them. He also said that he wrote it for youth in general, because 20's and going into your 30's is a difficult time. Yoongi is such a gem 🥺

Best song of the album, hands down. The lyrics are gorgeous, i am literally crying. Woosung was the perfect person to feature in this song, his voice fits perfectly with the melody, its delightful to listen to. I cry whenever I hear this song, and this man who is saving me right now is going to the military and I have no words for him and the boys they saved me and I'm healing I'm trying to find myself, my laughter, my love for people, my love for myself.. Thank you soo much to them for all the songs they've created I don't even understand why I love them and for some reason I feel that I have this very strong bond with them I don't really know how, I've been an ARMY or almost 3 years now and I love everything these 7 men have done to change/ save millions of lives.. Noo I was already teary at the very first lines but when he sang the "so far away" part, that bought so much more strength to me... I really needed this as someone who'll take a crucial exam in coming days and didn't have a good score in today's test.. I felt so lost.. but I'm going to keep going whatever happens!! Fighting!!

I will always come back here on my hard days.. Yoongi's songs are always feels so personal and comforting..he told 'everything will be alright' so many times as if it's for me personally :( I literally started crying when i heard So far away lyrics , this is so precious

OMG, SUGA AND RYUICHI SAKAMOTO, i first got introduced to Japanese and South Korean music by RYUICHI SAKAMOTO, RIP, and now my favourite BTS SUGA has a collab with him. This is so beautiful. I don't know anything about woosung, so i'll research him now.

Ryuichi Sakamoto san's piano and music make this song more touching deeply in my soul. Suga's lyric and his honesty slow rapping always caught off my guard and make me cry just like his previous songs - First love, So far away, Dear my friend. Woosung's voice heavenly match this song perfectly. As personally I was born in 1994 (same era as suga) so I am a big fan of Sakamoto as well. I grow up listen his music when I'm in middle school. This collaboration is my dream and this song give justice to contribute Sakamoto san's music. This is masterpiece.

Suga always said that he wanted to help their junior idols because no one was able to help them before. That intent was demonstrated by this song. My eyes teared up when he said "I will support you anytime, anywhere." Then when he sang the lyrics from So Far Away, I cried. He used to sing it for himself. And now it seemed that he's singing it for those that he's supporting. It's just so heartwarming.

His rap, those vulnerable bars, are always the most comforting ones. It shows a deeply flawed man, someone who has seen the same shade of darkness as most of his listeners. They are a warm pat in the back. Yoongi's verses have this tinged of friend consoling you, "You're okay, bud. I've been there. It's gonna be alright soon." I may have grown out of love for KPOP; nevertheless, Yoongi will always have a special place in my heart.
