This video features the impressive AgustaWestland CH-149 Cormorant Search and Rescue Helicopter of the Royal Canadian Air Force seen in Nelson, British Columbia, CZNL. The helicopter was in town, as well as the CC-115 Buffalo, performing some SAR exercises. It's always great to see the RCAF aircraft in town! This video shows the approach, landing and takeoff.

Its scarily quiet, you cant appreciate just how quiet it is until you encounter other large helicopters. Incredible what they achieved there.

I thought i recognised this Helicopter....formerly the EH-101, now the AW-101. The name 'Cormorant' threw me slightly. Excellent catch...she certainly threw up a load of dust.....Nice one....Steve.
