Ciao ho un problema con questo casco, il dentino della visiera non rimane incastrato quando la visiera è chiusa e con il minimo movimento si apre la visiera, è normale?
How is this helmet at High speeds? I bought it yesterday. It should come in in about 3 days. Super excited to test it out. I most likely won't be using the peak. I love how this helmet looks without it.
At high speeds it will be fairly good without that peak. Noise isolation isn't particularly great though. I hope you enjoy the helmet! What kind of design did you go for?
@@Championhelmets Oh okay good. Yeah, I am most likely going to run it without the peak anyways. Maybe keep it on to see how it feels at first but I do like the design without the peak. I think it'll be better than my Shark Street Drak helmet. Anything will be better than it. Lol and I went for the full carbon fiber. I had another question. Why aren't the different colored visiors available anywhere? I want the dark smoke but can't seem to order it anywhere.
I have confidence that the AX 9 will be a better helmet than the Street Drak as well!! You can find the visors for AX 9 on our website here as well www.championhelmets.com/en/dual-1-visor-for-agv-ax-9.html Hope this helps!
Unfortunately, it does run counter to the focus of most adventure helmets offering both on and off road features. Most likely the warning was added as a result of the helmet's more on road focus and to try and prevent issues caused by the sail effect. Thanks for the comment! What are your thoughts on the AX-9?
Champion Helmets looks like a really nice helmet, but the peak does look like it would pick up a bit of wind at the wrong angle. And the 100kph warning only adds to that concern. Ended up just buying an Airoh Commander
@@jameshinchcliffe4333 That's fair enough, and Airoh definitely knows their way around building quality helmets that can handle off road riding. Thanks for the reply!
If you remove the peak you may be able to put the goggles above the helmet. However, since the goggles aren't directly integrated into the helmet there is a chance they will slip off.
