Vladimiros Karin well thought out question, too bad they will either answer that "God works in mysterious ways and we can never comprehend it," or try to counter it with the fallacious watchmaker aurgument. This is why it's hard to have a proper discussion with christians, especially Filipino ones. They question our morality, they say the something happened to us in the past, they even teach these in school, but not the theory of evolution. Because evolution is just a "theory."

Vladimiros Karin can I make an educated guess (I really have a limited knowledge on the theory of evolution but I am still learning) I think it's the genes mutating to adapt and survive better in their environment. I'm not really sure, but people with more melanin in their skin are people who are more protected by the sun? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
