😂👏😂👏😂👏😂👏😂👏 Yes! The multiple diva moments by Mitch while performing perfectly plus Avi almost killing the speakers from his extreme lows is an experience. I knew you'd get excited as much as you love Mitch. Even with the sound quality not being perfect because it's a fan phone, you can still tell how great that show was. It was probably almost heartstopping live! Yes Kevin was there, if you listen again closely you can hear him come in, although the beat wasn't the emphasis of their arrangement but more as background just to keep the others on rhythm because the main vocal & bass were the emphasis. When the video starts he has left center stage to put away his cello, & then that 1st part where they zoom in on Avi is when Kevin comes back to the other side of the stage. When the video goes back to Mitch you can see he's moved next to Kirstie & taken center. The filmer is just so Mitch obsessed that he doesn't pan right again.
Yesssss I’ve been waiting for this one, Mitch was just incredible, the sass and his performance just blew me away and I love him just like you, and Avi was wow too his voice is just ughhhhhh amazing and deep
Dee Omar Reacts also just to let you know, Kevin was putting his cello away, the song before this one he was playing his cello, at the start of this one he was putting it away, he came on stage as Avi did his bit and that really low note, Mitch, Scott and Kirstin moved up so that Kevin could come on stage, we just never got to see him, the fan with the camera didn’t move out far enough for us to see him
Me when I saw the reaction was up: HERE WE GO! Me when the reaction was over: WE TOLD YOU! Loved every second of it Dee. Avi sets it up and the rest deliver. I think that little smile that Mitch gave shortly after starting was that he realized how locked in they all were. You can feel it sometimes when you're performing, even if it's a song that you've done several times before, that a certain performance on a certain stage and certain night is going to special and he knew this was going to be one very special performance. Thank god whomever brought that phone that night recorded this, because otherwise the only people that would've experienced this masterpiece were in the arena that night.
What a great reaction. I didn’t realize you hadn’t reacted to Aha! Was soooo excited when I got the notification. My first thought was “she’s gonna flip” 😂 You’re such a joy to watch. Love your passion. I believe Kevin had just finished with his cello performance and was putting that away while they did the Aria intro. He was on the other side of Scott.
YOU DID IT!!! TWO YEARS WE HAVE BEEN WAITING AND 👏 YOU👏 DID 👏 NOT 👏 DISAPPOINT!!! Your reaction is the same reaction of all us obsessed PTX fans. I can't count how many times I've seen this video but this... THIS reaction is the BEST. Passionate queen Dee living her best life and giving us the best reactions on the interwebs! Giiiirl I love you and your passion for life! Keep doing what you do and sharing your passion with the world!! #LiveWithPassion
At last, I've been waiting two years to add this reaction to my playlist of Favorite PTX Reactions. Dee, you are adorable! This lifted my spirit today.
I've waited 2 LONG YEARS to watch you have a freakin' heart attack over this. I pray you recuperate. Can't say we didn't tell you so. Freakinfantabulicious, huh? Girl, when that DIVA hit the floor, so did we, when that DIVA swiped that hair, so did we, when that DIVA smiled, so did we, when that DIVA gave that stank face, so did we, when that DIVA did that shoulder dance, so did we, when that DIVA hit those notes, we WISH we could. So, was it worth the wait? Duh! #DOersloveDee #DOersNotificationSquad on point again.
I'm SO glad you finally reacted to this! This is my ABSOLUTE favorite video of Mitch and this song (and trust me, I've watched all I could find). He is amazing and your "stalking" him is valid. Love Mitch! And you! 💞
Yes we all love the iconic crawling on the floor moment but can we just appreciate that this QUEEN does that INSANE note, full stops and casually continues like nothing happened???? (Sry I missed it btw)
Just like you weren't ready, I wasn't ready for your reaction. I can die happy now lol. BEST. REACTION. EVER. PERIOD. Can't wait for the next vlog, ❤❤ love ya❤❤🥰🥰
A little background on this: Kevin had just completed a cello solo and was backstage at the beginning putting "Beyonce" away. Mitch was suffering from jet lag and drank two Red Bulls backstage while Kevin was doing the cello solo. What followed was what is now considered by many Pentaholics to be the best live performance in the group's career. Mitch goes insane on stage, Avi blows out the theater speakers with his bass notes, Kevin is killing the beatbox and Scott hits some falsetto notes that he rarely reaches. The fact that it was only captured on somebody's cellphone camera somehow makes it even more legendary.
You did the greatest and funniest reaction i ever seen!! Omg it was something. That performance is my favorite ever. And yes... I'm obsessed with Mitch too. He helping me with my strongest anxiety. Maybe it's not very helpful in perspective, couse im really obsessed, like too much. I'm not try to escape from reality this way I hope
This is of course a Masterclass done by Mitch and it's a shame that it was only caught in a fan video. That being said, I'm really very happy that someone filmed it. The Avi - Mitch duet is fantastic and needs more credit as well the parts sung by Kirstie, Scott and the beat boxing by Kevin is outstanding.
For my money this might just be Mitch’s greatest performances, ever! He and Avi are outstandingly talented as are all the group but this is above and beyond. Unearthly!
love ALL of them and yes, Mitch almost looked possessed (and he is so gorgeously precious) which was wild... I read he has a much lower register that I want to hear, like when Scott started Sound of Silence... High notes cut through everything else... but that low Avi rumble was given a perfect pause !!!!! And that is THE CUTEST OUTFIT!! (^edit - YOURS*)❤❤❤
Ive seen Pentatonix in concert twice by the way. They are amazing and sound as good in concert as they do In their music videos too. And they don’t carry any backup tracks when they are on tour
Kevin is with them when they sing "AHA! at the Hollywood Bowl" performance. Spectacular ! Ity's amazing what they can do with their voices ! Love them !
I’m not taking anything away from their performance because they ALWAYS blow me away. But it’s the song itself that makes it. It’s a great piece of music and if you haven’t heard it check it out. It’s by Imogen Heap. If it wasn’t already mentioned in the comments somewhere.
I don't know your story other than what you say at the beginning of this video but I struggle with pretty extreme anxiety and depression myself. When I'm having a bad day or if I need a pick-me-up, one of the things I do is watch reaction videos to Pentatonix Aha. Your reaction is EXTRA and I'm here for it, you're hilarious! I have this saved in my favorites list and I watch it often. If only I could grab that piece of thread from the back of your shirt! ;)
That was worth the wait! Love you! But to answer your question, Kevin had just finished soloing on his cello and was putting Beyoncé away. The 4 part choral intro gives him time to do that and come back in time for the main tune.
I'm doing a bit of a "reaction tour" to this, partially because the genius of PTX is crystallized (though not limited to this video). Sometimes if I wanna share the vids and can't, I'll do the reaction videos, and it just is WONDERFUL. Dee, I love your reaction the best. So much so, I've subscribed. You're brilliant, too, my dear! Thank you for the smile and tears of joy (I love it when people are moved by great art).
Like others, I was looking forward to your reaction and you didn't disappoint! Loved your reaction reaction. It made me laugh and brightened my day with love and sunshine! Keep doing that thing you DO!
DEE!! WE TOLD YOU GIRL! Ok, so now can we blow your mind just a little more? Mitch revealed recently a new persona.... he is Messer, techo DJ, seriously!! Check this out - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-USajg7xMDJg.html
Yeah, no, some of that distortion was because Avi literally blew out some of the venue's speakers. You may not have noticed, but that's what those weird noises were.
I just recently saw a video of them covering "somebody that I used to know" by gotye. The video was from back in 2012 but still amazing. Mitch sounds totally different. But you may enjoy it anyway
