Ahead of poll results, Er Rashid's piece of advice to Parties: Don't form Govt till Statehood is returned to J&K

Srinagar, Oct 07 (NVI): North Kashmir Member Parliament Er Sheikh Abdur Rashid today offered a piece of advice to the parties and independents who would emerge victorious tomorrow (October 8) stating that government formation should be put on hold till
Centre restores the Statehood to J&k.
He also said AIP was ready to extend full support to the parties irrespective of the political differences.
"My suggestion to all political parties that would emerge victorious tomorrow or for that matter the independent candidates who would win tomorrow, is that lets put the government formation on hold to send a message to New Delhi that we are not gong to form government till Statehood is returned," Er Rashid said addressing a press conference here.
"If all agree to my advice, AlP would also extend full support to this proposal."
He said putting the government formation on hold will send a strong message to the Centre that J&K won't form government till it gets the Statehood status back.
Er Rashid also said that age-old darbar move practice should be resumed for the larger status of people of both regions. "The administration claims that it has saved J&k exchequer from a huge burden by abolishing the Darbar Move practice but fact remains that people of both regions are suffering. We demand this practice should be resumed," he said.
