I am a Jehovah's Witness, and we do not believe in the Trinity also, !! and this is the same exact reasoning we have been trying to tell the Trinitarian's for years !!! That the word they use for worship can actually be used for just bowing down in honor or respect, not in worship!!! and we also agreed that Jesus never claimed to be God, we've been trying to tell Trinitarian's that for years, so in this area ,I applaud the Muslim man for knowingly more about his Bible and the Trinitarian's! Last time you read the Quran you missed Surah 5:17 as well. "They have certainly DISBELIEVED who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" I read the bible and I listen to learned Christians tell me that the trinity is a mystery. A mystery will forever remain a mystery. If it is solved, it cannot be a mystery anymore. If by reading the bible you are telling me that I will somehow be able to solve the mystery of 1 and 1 and 1 equals 1, then I'm sorry. If I solve it, it will not remain a MYSTERY anymore. God is not the Author of Confusion. He is ONE as Jesus said in Mark 12:29. That is what I understand clearly when I read the bible.

The earliest manuscript that has it goes back to the 5th Century. And do you even know how many 'forged' writers there are. Noone knows who wrote these books. You see I read the bible and find that the trinity is not mentioned. It's mentioned in 1 John 5:7 and this verse is not found in the oldest manuscripts. Meaning it is a later addition. A fabrication confirmed by scholars. Do you what a fabrication is? A LIE. I find saying "My Father is greater than I". In a simple maths class greater then means greater then. Not equals to. Greater then and equals to are poles apart. They can never be the same. NEVER.

In the NT, Jesus is sometimes refer to as lord while the Father is refer to as God. Never at any time was Jesus called God or Lord God In many places, Jesus called the Father in heaven as 'my God and your God'

"Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist" Matthew 11:11. How many miracles did John the Baptist perform? It is admirable that Mr. Deedat suggests looking at the context of worship in the New Testament, so we can understand what is truly happening. It is also very scholarly that the end of this video shows different Greek words for worship used in the New Testament, especially the commonly used word "proskuneo." Let's take a look at how that word "proskuneo is used: In Acts 10:25-26, when Cornelius met Peter, "he fell down at his feet and worshipped him." The word for worship here is from "proskuneo." Peter said to Cornelius, "Stand up: I myself also am a man." Clearly, Peter refused this type of worship as it was meant for God and not men. In Revelation 22:8-9, John heard from an angel. Here was his response: "I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things." (The word again is from "proskuneo.") The angel's response was, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God.” So, even an angel refused this type of worship, reserved only for the Almighty. In the verse pointed out in the video, Matthew 28:9, the Disciples came and worshipped (proskuneo) at the feet of Jesus. When they did this, Jesus did not refuse this type of worship. In all three cases, we have the same word (proskuneo) and the same action (falling at the feet). Regardless of what one believes about Jesus Christ, we can all agree, by using this scholarly approach, that He received worship that even an angel refused.

To understand the “Trinity”, you must first appreciate and understand the full meaning of the word “one”. The word “one” has always had two meanings: (1) singularity and (2) composite unity. Examples: In terms of “singularity”, the water molecule is one. But in terms of “composite unity”, the ‘oneness’ of the water molecule consists of two different natures: (1) Oxygen and (2) Hydrogen or (H2O). In terms of “singularity”, time is one. But in terms of “composite unity”, the ‘oneness’ of time consists of three different natures: (1) Past, (2) Present, and (3) Future. In terms of “singularity”, the universe is one. But in terms of “composite unity”, the ‘oneness’ of the universe consists of three different natures: (1) Time, (2) Space, and (3) Phenomenon - everything we can see, hear, feel, smell, and taste. The Science of Natural Laws support the trinity. It states, “Whatever is ‘one’ is a unity of many different natures or components (things).” Example: You are one person. But within your “oneness”, you have three different natures: (1) body, (2) spirit, and (3) soul. Your body is you, your spirit is you, and your soul is you. But your body is not the same as your spirit, and your spirit is not the same as your soul. However, each you (body, spirit, and soul), by itself, is actually you. In fact, on the day you die, people will refer to your body as your “remains” (left-behind or left-over). If your body is your “left-over” or “left-behind”, then where did the rest of you go? This can only make sense if within your “oneness” you are more than one you. And in this case, you are a “three-in-one” - you are a trinity. The message of the Bible is acceptably simple: God is one. Within His “Oneness”, there are three different Natures: (1) Father, (2) Word of God, and (3) Spirit of God. One day, God in His infinite wisdom and powers, took one of His three Natures called “Word of God” or “Word”, and placed Him inside the Womb of the Virgin Mary. Nine months later, a Child is born. The Child, naturally, is both the “Son of God” and the “Son of Man”. The Apostle John, in two verses, explains it this way: John 1:1 reads, “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God,” and in John 1:14 the Apostle added this: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and full of truth.” In other words, Jesus is one of God’s Natures who is covered in human skin. That is what the Prophet Isaiah meant when he said, “The Child will be the Father of Himself.” Isaiah 6:9 reads, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given…His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.” Because Jesus is one of God’s Natures covered in human skin, Jesus correctly said, “I am in my Father and my Father is in me. I and my Father are one. If you have seen me, you have seen my Father. Before Abraham was, I am.” Jesus is also the “Son of Man” by way of His Human Mother. Thus, Jesus had human natures. In the sense of humanity (morality, ethics), it is understood that a son is not greater than his father. Jesus said, “My Father is greater than I.” Islam was established to prevent (stop) Jesus from being God. But Muhammed’s understanding of the word “one” was lacking or inadequate. That is why Islam’s rejection of the trinity is based on the mathematical equation: (1 + 1 + 1 = 3). It assumes that because you are a trinity, (your body + your spirit + your soul = 3 different human beings). From the beginning of creation, all peoples, all tribes, and all nations have understood the word “one” in terms of both “singleness” and “unity”. The Bible reveals God as a “singular” in whom there is a “plural”. God reveals Himself in the singular pronoun - “I”, and in the plural pronoun - “We”. It is therefore no wonder that in the Old Testament Book of Zechariah God spoke about His own suffering on the Cross. Verse 12:10 reads, “…And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced (nailed)…” My prayer is that in your desire to seek and to know the truth, you will consider the word “composite unity”. It, too, means “one”. God is one.

when Jesus prayed he prayed for 2 reasons. 1: because him and the father have always been im perfect communion. he was displaying his unity with the father to the world. besides he clearly called god " father" is that something deedat woulf agree on ? and 2: for educational value. he was teaching the people how to pray. in the end of that same book he quoted Jesus said " teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” praying was one of his commandments so how on earth would he teach it ? he had to physically demonstrate it.

Matthew 7:21 - Anyone who does the WILL of my MY FATHER. Hence disclaiming that Jesus is God. Jesus is NOT the FATHER. And it seems here that the Father is the Judge. Not the son. Jesus will be there as a Messenger of God on the Day of Judgement where people will be brought as witnesses like a court case. That is what is happening.

Each time he mentioned a patriarch worshiping on his knees they were worshiping/showing respect to God or an angle of god. He just proved that Jesus is not a prophet and if he is he is some unknown hybrid of prophet and heavenly creature.
