Nurseryman too is very humble, experienced and able person. Hoping we in India too could order some plants he is preparing at TTS but ironically it is not possible right now. By the way which place is Toba Tek Singh? What was old pre partition name of this place, our parents are not aware of this city name, it seems this city was renamed recently .

We also discussed your point about the historical background of the city of Toba Tek Singh. * This city was named after a kind hearted religious Sikh personality Tek Singh who used to serve drinking 💦🌊💦🌊 water to travellers from a nearby pound (Talaab/Toba) and all the notables belonging to different religions including Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus jointly decided to name this location and sorounding populations as Toba Tek Singh in recognition of his services for mankind. * There were many reshuffles in administrative settings before and after the partition of 1947 but Toba Tek Singh remained as it is, sustaining its identity over almost the last century. Pl, just Google the History of TTS and you would find the relevant information. *And, I also endorse all this information being the resident of Faisalabad as my forefathers migrated from Hoshiarpur to Layllpur, currently Fsd. in 1947. * Luckily, I also served as a Bureau Chief at PBC News Fsd. during the 90s.and Fsd, TTS and Jhang districts were my areas of responsibility. * Now, we are in Media Town Isd and my parents are the last couple alive from all those our relatives who migrated to Pakistan in 1947. * Our village in Fsd, 194 RB bears the historic identity as many Sinkh families left it behind while migrating to Indian Punjab. * Nice to look back into our history due to your kind feedback/comments. * Have a great day and stay blessed 💗🌹.
