Ahsoka review of Star Wars Ahsoka season 1 episode 2, where Ahsoka and Sabine talk about their feelings. Disney+ making a live action version of Ahsoka from Clone wars, not their strong point. If this is meant to save Star Wars, my only question is HOW? We spend half the episode whining about our feelings, cutting our hair, complementing our new hairstyle. Combined with MMO fetch quests and only spiced up with action sequences without a plot of any complexity at all. I don't think Ahsoka can be the Star Wars hit that brings people back to the fold. I don't think people will even finish the series unless they also managed to stick it through the Mandalorian. They feel very similar just with more annoying characters. But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)
@@SpammytheHedgehogit*s actually really sad how Kathleen Kennedy changed star wars legacy from a great 6 episode series to a constant stream of disappointment
Maul surviving being cut in half is different considering non of his vitals would have been hit (gonads are vital to happiness not life)... Everything else would have cauterized... But a stab to the gut us different... Do you know how many times would be boiling there with no bones to protect other organs... Say good bye to your stomach, liver and kidney and the useful parts of your intestines especially considering how long the light saber would be in you for a stab and a pull out, and in this case, it was long and it was wiggled around, go watch that scene again (on disparu's last review, don't go stream this rubbish again)... That's the end of her innards... They would all cauterize and turn to grilled meat... You can't compare that to a swift slice from left to right through your fucking waist... At best, your large intestine ending would be blocked off since you have no ass anymore but that would yake a couple of days to be a problem... People are thinking the divide should be more serious than s stab because in real life, with steel, the halfing would be more serious because of multiple bleeding from multiple veins and arteries exposed which can drain you in minutes.... But a lightsaber would cauterize those bleeding and close it up and kill all the infections so there's no major issue after that... The main problem with a stab is an open stomach and you don't apply fire to close it up, that requires surgery to fix so a lightsaber would make that even worse... People need to stop comparing maul's surviving to the resent rubbish we've been getting... Believe it or not, the book of boba Fett dealth with a lazer stab to the gut better when that Chinese woman from shield got shot, everything around the entry hole should become useless and replaced with something else... Something like that shouldn't be brought to the hospital, hey should be taken to kamino or a mechanic, those organs are done for...
Having looked into the expanded material around the ST (skimming through Wookiepedia synopsis, at least)... dear LORD in Heaven, you have NO IDEA. The more they wrote to try and fill in the problems with the ST's complete lack of world building, the worse it got. Do you know how the FO got so strong? They staged a failed coup against the entire New Republic, and when Leia foiled that, they assassinated the incoming president and then "settled" for stealing half the goddamn NR. Despite only one person in the "Imperial Apologists" party having a direct connection to TFO, she is able to pretty much immediately get half the fucking NR to just secede and join them. Just like that. It's basically a foot note at the end of the novel, and the next bit of the canon timeline is that all those worlds and all their people... just immediately said "yeah, fuck the NR!" and joined TFO. No mass riots, no holdouts, no long drawn out referendums, no publicity campaigns, no staged events/scandals to sway public opinion, no major wheeling and dealing, no NOTHING that we see. They all just secede and join a group they'd never even heard of until ~5-6 years before TFA starts. Just. Like. That. Then the NR does nothing but signs an NAP with the remnants of their old adversary, one that tried to stage a coup against them, one that just pulled off an assassination of their highest executive... all because "WAR BAD :(" Which is also why they had completely castrated their military and decentralized their government into a state of nonexistence. See, the Empire is BAD! And if the Empire had an EFFECTIVE MILITARY and CENTRALIZED GOVERNMENT, then those things are also BAD! So we must have no military and a useless government! Because we are GOOD! :) I'm leaning a bit into hyperbole here, but it's really that bad. They decentralized so badly that the only fleet under the direct control of the NR was those few specks seen floating around Hosnian Prime when JJ had the DS 3.0 go all "boom boom" on them. That was it: the sum total of the NR fleet. What's that? The TFO stole half our territory, is kidnapping children and training them into slave soldiers, is building a Super Death Star, and rapidly mobilizing for what is obviously another war? QUICK! DOWNSIZE OUR OWN MILITARY EVEN MORE SO WE DON'T PROVOKE THEM! WAR BAD!!!!! Oh, and Leia is seen as the problem for taking the threat presented by TFO seriously. This is why the Resistance is so underfunded to the point that only a couple senators are embezzling funds to send her way. You know, when Hux is mocking the NR for secretly funding the Resistance despite their "treaty?" The rest of the NR thinks she's a lunatic for provoking the people that are obviously about to invade them. I swear, the more I read, the more believable it became that half the NR just "noped" the FUCK out of that suicidally stupid mess of dysfunctional pansies. At least TFO gets shit done....
Sabine was not only NOT a jedi in Rebels, she was NOT EVEN A FORCE USER!!!! She was a Mandalorian who’s major skill set was snarky comments and being an expert in explosive graffiti. No bullshit, this was her skill set…
The droid tells Sabine she’s weaker than any padawan ever. Sabine was also trained to use a lightsaber in rebels WHICH YOU SHOULD KNOW as someone who seems to have watched it. Ahsoka continued her training post kanan death
@@mryellow6918 I fully admit I haven’t watched a single episode. However, as a Star Wars fan who was alive when the first movie ever came out, I have have ever wanted to love Star Wars. I even defended Filoni in the 90’s against the recriminations of his choice of the cartoonish over-stylized artwork on the Clone Wars series as he had explained in interviews that, during that period of limited CGI technology, he had a choice of spending the budget on story or realistic animation, he chose story. I admit, even back then, the animation style was off-putting even for me. That said, once the quality of storyline started making the rounds on the net, I gave it another chance because I jonesed so much for more proper Star Wars storyline. As it happened, the Clone Wars series finished strong because they realized the child-friendly model wasn’t working. One should keep in mind that this was before the Dizz got their grubby hands on the IP and Dave was regularly consulting with George. Dave claimed George was his idle. Unfortunately, once the deal was made with the Dizz, we found out just how much of a poser Dave actually is. Filoni had already spent hundreds of hours into Rebels before the Dizz made the fated deal with George. One can easily trace the timeline in which Filoni willingly wrote a complete 180 on the characters he swore were his “babies.” Ahsoka and no disrespect to George, is the most well written jedi there’s ever been and yet, she’s been turned into plot armor for this series. Sabine, during the series, was the romantic carrot for Ezra that they dangled for the entire series. But I have to digress just for a bit, in the Rebels series, the party of characters were, by design, fashioned as a family unit and it worked. Hera was appealing for being a momma bear who kept Kanan grounded as the reluctant papa bear. It was pretty damn decent writing up until the Dizz bought the franchise and all of a sudden we’ve got Hera willing to sacrifice the love of her life after Kanon was captured by Imperials because…reasons. There was even a scene where she balls out Ezra and Sabine for conspiring against “rebellion” orders to save Kanon from endless torture and interrogation at the hands of the empire. In this scene, in which Hera’s character acted in complete contradiction of her character in saying that the bigger picture is what is most important even if it meant that love of her life gets tortured to death, she later on in the story claims it was all her idea. To be fair to the folks who are thinking “WHAT A CUNT!!!” her character was admirable all the way up until this point. This was the exact point when Filoni turned into a Poser piece of shit. You heard it here first.
"The droid came from Corellia. " Well, given that Corellia is an entire industrialized planet, that's about as useful as saying "the phone call originated from somewhere in North America."
She wasn't stabbed in the spine, go rewatch. Also she may have been put in a bacta tank, it just wasn't shown. The scene that was shown was of her wound already fully sealed.

She does and I am completely jealous. Come bed time I'm an exhausted night sister and I still wake up looking like an exhausted night sister. Very unfair.
Sabine is what you get when you get the intellectual and emotional equivalent of an 8 year old to write a character. She's actually a startling insight into the incompetence and rot of Hollywood writing.
@@darkstraylily1477thats the issue - she wasnt like this in Rebels. I watched that entire show and I loved it - this is not Sabine Wren. This is not someone who went from "kinda rude bratty rebel" to "Darksaber wielder, one of the coolest and most grownup characters". lol Sabine motherfukin Wren would NEVER say "ooh I can't train if Ahsoka doesn't train me" - she was one of the most independent self-taught badass teens ever
Because the dialog and acting are utter 💩, just look at all the moments they use the force too, its like the force is lagging because they'll make a gesture to force push someone and like 2 seconds later the person goes flying AFTER they already completed the hand gestures, they can't even get basic things down like timing and the fight choreography looks like it was designed by a 5 year old and only taught to the actors once. Also looks like they hired their cousin who works as a plumber to be the cameraman instead of a professional because "How hard can it be to hold a camera?" so all the shots are just terribly done with no real fluidity to any of it and dear god this is the worst pacing of any show I've ever watched. Half the scenes are just shots of the characters staring awkwardly at nothing and making forced facial expressions the entire time while sounding like their entire script was written by a very early beta testing of chatGPT.

43:20 "It'd be a shame to kill her, there are so few Jedi left". Really? You can't swing a dead cat without hitting half a dozen who miraculously escaped Order 66. I'm beginning to think that the only one who actually died that night was the kid they had stuck in amber at the Sith Inquisitor base in Obiwan.
@@raafeyplayz7015 To be fair, the total number of Jedi before clone wars is at least above 10k, if i recall correctly, and clones couldn't possibly be everywhere at once. A few hundred surviving, only to be hunted down to a few dozen by Empire isn't too unreasonable.
The Jedi were dispersed on different planets throughout the entire galaxy, even in remote locations, they weren't all on Currosant having a party when Order 66 was initiated.
They killed the IP when they announced everything outside the Prequels, OT, and animated shows as non-canon and inserted everything they created as new canon. And they have been screwed the canon and continue screwing the canon.
ITS ONLY TWO EP, God star wars fans are whining little children with bipolar when the series isn't even finished yet. Like I remember hearing this with mando season 1.
What sucks is, Ahsoka was a really cool character. Her training in Clone Wars gave her so much personality. Here, she feels so dull, and lost a lot of her life.
The acting could’ve helped us from being bored but no. Everyone sounds bored and has no expression. Ahsoka is like Anakin. She has a lot of emotion even though she tries to reel it in. You expect me to believe this is the same Ahsoka that refused to leave Anakin again after fighting him years later when he became Darth Vader?
The 3 main characters are basically the SAME person: *Ashoka:* Bored, expressionless and orange. *Sendula:* Bored, expressionless and green. *Sabine:* Bored, expressionless and stroppy.
Hera is busy admiring Ahsoka the entire time. I was bored to tears during the conversation between Hologram Hera and Ahsoka as Sabine was figuring out the map. After six minutes of wasted time, they cut to Sabine figuring out a map, which took another six minutes for no reason. Then they cut back to Ahsoka, who is STILL talking to Hera. What the hell can they be talking about that entire time?
Trust me it's much more fun when Disparu Is explaining what's going on instead of watching the show yourself. I watched the second episode and i was bored to death. Now i watched Disparu and i cannot wait for the next episode. Thank you for your sacrifice my RU-vid friend.
So Droids have a self destruct feature that will nuke a small town off the map but don't have the function of a memory wipe after being defeated? You would think a more intense scene would be her trying to grab the data when the droid has power and it's wiping it's own memory as a safety protocol now that power has been re-established? Ends with her managing to get a small fragment of it that takes time for her/them to figure out. Wouldn't that make more sense?
They lost me when they decided that it was perfectly fine to play with the _very_ explosive droid in a hospital _in the middle of a city._ I don't care if these horrible people blow themselves up; at that point they damn well deserve it. It's just too bad they'd've taken a whole lot of other people with them.

Interestingly, understanding that other people don't automatically know what you know is a recognised stage in child development that occurs at age 4 to 5. Which tells you the mental age of the writers.
@oliveragag8576 Even so, not giving enough information, especially story relevant information, to the audience is poor writing. Picking up off as a sequel is fine and all, but you have to provided enough interest and information for potential new audiences.
@@chazzitz-wh4ly Why are new audiences watching it? It's meant to be a continuation of Rebels, why would you start watching at the sequel without any knowledge of the first installment?
@oliveragag8576 with all due respect, it isn't being advertised as a sequel to rebels in any of the marketing for it that I've seen. and furthermore, she had appearances on the mandalorian, which is much more likely to be the place casual fans, especially those from just the last few years, would recognize her from. It's poor writing to not offer any exposition for the motivations of the main characters in a show. All it does is confuse and alienate people who aren't familiar with the source material which leads to poor viewership
Disney completly fails to understand that if, as in my case, you don’t know who Thrawn is … there is exactly ZERO levels of interest that I have that this character exists.
It's even worse if you *do* know who Thrawn is. They're already ruining him by making him as famous in-universe as he is in the fandom. This is what happened to Vader too, when he was so popular outside of the story that the prequels made the entire universe revolve around him.
Welll you clearly got internet, Thrawns big in books and animation. Nothing is stopping you from researching him. Its not their fault you dont know this particular (and rather big) character.
@@buckatomsEven he's far too try hard, just randomly staring ominously off into the distance like he sees something. Not a single character in the show has any personality, you could literally have any 2 people on the same team just flat out swap all their dialog and the story would still make sense. They're all the same bland cardboard cuttout character and the only way to differentiate them is because they use different actors...
You either have to watch Rebels to know who Thrawn is or have previous knowledge from the old Canon. Either way, as presented by this show itself, Thrawn is patethic and even his Rebels appearence was better than this. lol
George Lucas had previously employed this strategy with Ewoks and Jar Jar Binks, aiming to boost merchandise sales. Therefore, what Disney/LucasFilms is attempting to accomplish by capitalizing on merchandising isn't an entirely novel concept. The unfortunate aspect is that the majority of Star Wars characters introduced by Disney for the purpose of merchandise are essentially disposable, lacking any significant role within the overarching narrative, with the exception of Baby Yoda (Grogu).
Palpatine came back, Kylo Ren had redemption arc and the sequels were trash. You can apply your logic in sequel's case (cuz of Rey) but not every show with female lead is woke. If you see a show/movie with this perception in your mind beforehand, you'll find ways to satisfy your points in every turn.
Totally agree with you bro, i was so disappointed when the trailer came out and still i watched it because of false hope. But i became traumatized watching the second episode when sabine wren survived.
Seeing that lighsaber fight was... something. Ahsoka' was a war time jedi. Even the cartoon showed just how much better she was than all the inquisitors. Her movements should be minimal at most.
@@VolthoomNo she didn't "nearly win", she barely held on,parrying and blocking, and only striked at his helmet when he was distracted by Kanan and Ezra.

I really liked the cartoon Ahsoka - she was alien, naive, caring, innocent, modest, but fierce to protect those she cared for and always growing and learning. The live action Ahsoka looks like a smug, entitled, African-American, girl-boss in makeup and a funny hat. She's also twice the size of cartoon Ahsoka and has a voice deeper than Vader's.

In the books, New Republic fleets ended up being practically half captured or defected star destroyers. This "we don't use Imperial stuff" thing Disney Star Wars is pushing is stupid.
I remember when a Sith lord threatened me with his lightsaber, I just laughed and said I can just walk that off, then I remembered I am a straight white guy like Qui-Gon Jinn, then ran for my life
I remember how the real Star Wars made me wonder about the future of technology, of the marvels we'd be able to use in the future. Now, looking at Disney's bastardization, I realize we have a higher tech base, but just missing some key flashy technologies. Their hard drives are worse than ours. Their military gear is lesser than ours. They don't have wifi or knowledge about making backups to prevent the loss of information. These people are using tools they do not understand.
We do possess our very own genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. However, up until now, his accomplishments encompass an autopilot electric car, an ongoing project involving a rapid travel rocket, a flamethrower, and an acquisition of Twitter, which, I concur, is not exceedingly remarkable.
It's either because the writers/producers don't understand these technologies, or more cynically, the producers/execs in charge don't think the general audience could handle scripts about "the shit half of them use at work."
Disney is certainly going to adapt the Heir to the empire storyline with they way Ahsoka is going, but will only nitpick scenes, characters, etc. because they've already destroyed much of it. Now if they continue doing so, adapting Heir to the empire on TV without the legacy characters (Han, Luke and Leia) is an even bigger insult to them and Legends fans.
FFS! Disney isn't satisfied with simply destroying Canon, ships, and legacy characters, they've now moved on to inanimate objects. Light sabers are completely useless now. Could someone please remove the dead horse from KK's office? Also, why is Disparu wearing a She-Hulk t-shirt?!
The problem with star wars is power scaling. The original and only actual lore has the clones at 200k at the first battle, the expanded universe somehow has them in the billions at the end of a 3 year war. So plasma blasters can't get through basic cover but can so through bodies. And at the same time it's supposed to be far better than bullets that travel several times faster. Star wars problem, Disney just make it so much more obvious and do it rather blatantly
@@tarektechmarine8209Several times faster than bullets but they can somehow move fast enough to deflect an entire platoons worth of projectiles traveling at them... 🤷♂ They got the force and all to try explaining it away and all but the force can't make them move their hands faster than multiple speeding bullets even if they could parry everything perfectly...
The one going after Thrawn should be Sabine (based on ending of Rebels) not Ahsoka (who should be after Vader, and Luke, and later just living her life, building new Jedi with Luke or whatever. I liked Ahsoka only as padawan anyway).
I admit I didn't watch Rebels and never will. But I have a question about timelines because I am confused as hell. Didn't Rebels take place around the time of Attack of the Clones? And doesn't this show take place after Return of the Jedi? And isn't that a span of like 30-odd years? So why the hell are the characters behaving like no time has passed? Sabine should be a pushing 50, right?
Anyone else thought that the "golden ball" looks eerily similar to the "Apple of Eden" from the Assassin's Creed games? Oh and let's not forget that in the original game the entire point of it was because the Templars wanted the locations of other pieces of Eden...which were shown to Altair...by the Apple which displayed a world map...
You know... What I keep thinking is that they stole a plot device from. "Treasure planet." It's a ball that's a map that reveals the map when you turn it, and then when you put it in the contraption it opens portals... THAT'S LITERALLY THE MAP FROM TREASURE PLANET! And that's even a Disney movie so! I guess at least they won't be sued but... Still!
How the conversation about Ahsoka taking Sabine back as an apprentice should have gone: Ahsoka: The order had a rule that candidates over a certain age and/or with a lot of emotional trauma can’t be trained. The last time that rule was ignored Darth Vader happened. The General: good point, maybe Sabine shouldn’t become a Jedi.
There's zero reason to make Sabine into a Jedi. She never exhibited Force sensitivity in Rebels, and Kanan probably would've picked up on it if it existed--especially after he lost his eyes and started using the Force to "see". If they wanted an apprentice for Ahsoka, they could've picked Kanan and Hera's son, Jacen. That would've actually made some sense because, as you say, Ahsoka would've been able to start training him before he had "dark side" written all over him. This show is so stupid. I don't know how anyone can suspend disbelief when a fantasy universe breaks all of its own rules whenever those rules are inconvenient. I've seen better fan fiction written by hobby writers.
Remember when lightsabers where EXTREMELY deadly, that kinda showed off Jedi and Sith power by just turning on? "restrained, lethal, powerful, but also fast and deadly". Now? I'm starting to wonder if maybe this "show" was originally written to BE a puzzle game with lots of cutscenes, but Disney decided they just really needed a new show to make up for all the bad ones, so they repurposed the game's script and didn't bother to rewrite it.
Ever since I realized that Hera (the green twi'lek) would have to put her pilot cap like pants on her head (two holes for her head tentacles), it makes me chuckle a bit inside every time she is on the screen. I keep picturing her wearing little pants on her head. Who thought of that design?!
He's probably gonna be that masked villain and then Ahsoka and Sabin will try to redeem him only for him to make the ultimate sacrifice to stop the big bad by killing himself and then they mourn his death but Ahsoka finally trusts Sabin as her apprentice and they live happy but hopeful for rescuing the Galaxy until typical big reveal that they need to help another hero in the star wars universe like Mando or Luke or some shit. Which will leave it end on a cliff hanger ending setting up a season 2 if it gets renewed.
9:15 one of the things I hate about the idea of Droid operation is that stuff that works like humans have to be placed in droids the same way. Like the memory in the head of a Droid... Why does ti need to be there? There is a smaller space there instead of, say, the chest.
well usually the easiest place to shoot something is in the chest so you probs dont want memory there. most of the power supply will also be in the chest so you dont want that discharging and wiping the memory if you can recover the droid.
@@bunkfrunkschlunkdunkgunkmo8109 Star Wars droids never seem to get shot in the ass so it'd make sense to put the brain there.....just like the writers.
The torso would also be the most effective part to protect something like that with armor. It's cheaper and more effective to put armor around a cluster of important components than it is to distribute an armor scheme across the droids body.
It was established in the original series that the protocol series stored their processing in their head. If you want to be realistic, why would not use a redundant processor in multiple locations and use a high speed voting comparison to handle execution? This would make hacking a right pain and also render the control center tricky to disable.
It’s a fine line between slow burn, and just plain slow. Under certain circumstances, patient almost laborious filmmaking, actually builds tension and rewards the viewers’ patience. This was not one of those cases

@fieldmarshalbaltimore1329 Ray Stevenson played Titus Pullo in Rome. He was fantastic in that show. it is a shame that this trash fire is what he did before he died.
I watched the entire Star Wars rebels and there was no indication in any episode that Sabine Wren was force sensitive or is it Girl Power now instead of the force
What's bugging me most is how much the show wastes time. Characters moving more slowly than anyone would. Looking around, walking around.... meandering around. They really figured out how to fill up screen time with as little happening as possible.
Keep in mind that in this universe around this time has Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Lando Calrissian, some of the most important people IN THE GALAXY, and they’re not mentioned. @ComradeCommissarYuri Yeah, but obiwan was a white male, Ahsoka is a woman of color. The very type of “heroine” Disney purports to wanting to showcase. It is absolute incompetence! It is absolutely saying the rest of Ahsoka is going to be a total crap show! Ahsoka has declared it will rip off any scene from any show even if it is the worst parts of the show! Ha-ha! Can star gate still sue Ahsoka for that eye thing?!
The irony is that even if this show proves to be alright, the problem is it will be followed immediately after by "Skelaton Crew", a Star Wars show that has generated zero buzz or interest, and then we get the catastrophic brand killer that is "The Acolyte", which will ensure that it sets fire to whatever last remaining vestiges of good will that Star Wars fans have left.
I'm amazed there's any fans left after Disney, very early on, gave them a middle finger and told them to "let the past die". Some people didn't listen to Yoda, or Lucas, and trained themselves to let go of everything they feared to lose.
@@ComradeCommissarYuri because its stunning and brave to have a uterus. it is one of the greatest accomplishments in human history to be born as a female. you also have to remember all of the disabled dogs around the world. do you really want them to suffer MORE?
The medical droid was memberberries, it was the same type that was in Empire Strikes Back when Luke got out of the bacta tank and when his hand was replaced.
Sabine surviving a light sabre to the torso is about as believable as the end of every episode of an original Flash Gordon episode where he escapes his rocket smashing into the ground at the last minute due to "clever editing".
Star Wars Fans habe no idea anymore what good entertainment is. The shuts complain about everything for the sake of it and have no idea about quality. The two episodes so far were good don’t know why you should view it otherwise
@@adamwillis908 Kinda a weird argument. Without those movies released in the 70's and 80's there would be no Lucasfilm to begin with. Suppose the company did exist, release as they were? I reckon it would look too primitive for most people, especially Millennials and Zoomers. Released while updated for a 'Modern Audience'? Yeah, that is exactly what Disney would LOVE to do right now.
@@TK-04 We know exactly what good entertainment is. That was the whole point of the Fandom Menace. It wasn't a conservative movement against radical leftist propaganda, it was a consumer movement against bad film. FM: This ain't good. Disney + Disney simps: You are racists, sexists and transphobes! How dare you! Just because this is acceptable to Filoni fanbois does not make it good.
The cat critters are native to the planet. One became attached to Ezra (IIRC) in Rebels apparently Sabine adopted it or more likely as cat-like as it is deemed Sabine as best available filler of the food bowl.
I once worked in a video hire shop and watched a guy stride confidently across the street and straight into our glass door - didn't even slow down - must have thought the door was open or something. He almost knocked himself down! He came into the shop and went round the corner to the children's video section because it couldn't be seen by the staff, but it didn't matter because the staff were all in the back room killing ourselves trying not to laugh out loud...
19:40 On a side note, Beast Wars handled quite a lot of themes, topics and character development that would never be touched in most shows today let alone a "childrens show meant to sell toys." The animation may be dated but its easily one of the best written western animated shows from the past 30 years.
On the subject of that double bladed lightsaber reveal, I think it's the pose he's striking when the second blade comes out that makes it so dorky. I compare that to Darth Maul's legendary reveal of his double bladed lightsaber, and I think the pose makes all the difference.
You're exactly right. Maul deployed his while sinking into a fighting stance. This dude just dribbles it out while standing there awkwardly. It almost looks like he did it by accident 😂
Its not exactly a “reveal” tho lol Thats an inquisitor weapon Anyone whose seen the disney inquisitors knows they pretty much ALL posess a double bladed saber Which is odd And in old lore Being eu mostly That type of saber required a bit more skill to use And most needed two crystals Spending credits on two red crystals, the gyro to make it spin, the metal, etc for EACH inquisitor Seems kinda wasteful lol
It's gotten to the point of apathy. I could not care less about ahsoka, or mandalorian or anything Disney related. I'm just gonna watch older series, movies or anime at this point.
@@thegreatTBAShh! Didn't you hear? He doesn't care anymore! That's why he came to a recently posted SW review to make sure we all know how much he doesn't care!
the medical droid literally has a super common studio microphone for a mouth/face. that’s the kind of stuff you see in indie films. like a motherboard from a pc stuck to a wall as some future tech, or painted brooms for spears.
Maul's revival is a bit bs aswell, but at least it was a good opportunity to expand on a character with a lot of potential that was crossed way too fast. His own arc even adds a lot to Obi Wan's imo. Also he was a dark side user, so it makes more sense that he could find the power to survive. And he spent the next 15 years in a crazed state, so that still beats casually waking up in the hospital with a mild abdominal pain the very next day I guess.
Ya. Honestly I'm all in board with Mauls return, mostly because they did it well. We got to see a cool character return that went on to have good arcs and story, as well as adding to others. Also the addition of Mauls background which led to Dathomir and the Night Sisters. All in all I am very happy with Clone Wars bringing him back. What was cheap at first ultimately redeemed itself and more.
Im confused, i thought ezra and canan clearly said sabine wasnt force sensitive, and she was only trianed with the dark saber because of its meaning in mandalore culture?
"She's not the one that needs to hear it right now." What Sabine really needs to hear is the sound of a blaster going off. One that's pointed at her face.
The World Between Worlds, that Rebels plot point really did rob all of Star Wars of all tension "Oh this person just died. Let's go back through space-time and save them." That's literally what they did with Kanan in Rebels, If I remember correctly that was the entire point of that episode(where they introduced the World Between Worlds)
They could atleast make her be in a coma for an episode or two (after geting stabed) to create more tension. To show that the plot is serious and injuries like this are not treated like papercuts.
Nothing ruins immersion and storytelling like meaningless or a lack of consequences. If people can just survive lightsaber stabs to the gut, lightsabers are not deadly at all and just a plot device that only kills certain people.
In the case of older stab wound kills (like ith Qui-Gon), it's clearly the case of lightsaber allergies in the past. It couldn't be stab wounds. @@chazzitz-wh4ly
Security clearance doesnt mean acces to any and all information. Its still on a need to know basis. If you have the clearance but dont need to know, you dont get to know. I worked as a naval comunicator and had top secret clearance, as did everyone in my office. When a secret message came in it didnt get passed around in office gossip, the guy who saw it come in would distribute it to the appropriate people and then its filed appropriately.
@@deez3913 that is extremely apparent... You really got a sense in the originals that a lot of people in production had experience with military. Either direct, or second hand. The prequels work somewhat because the characters aren't experienced with war and military organizations, and when they become experienced it's with clones where there isn't a real parallel to real life.
Haven't seen the show but saw the trailers only seemed to show men where they were obviously the bad guy. Was hoping it wouldn't be another female empowerment campaign and be a interesting telling of Ahsoka's story like the animated series. At least we get these comedic reviews 😂
It’s not a female empowerment campaign it’s just a natural continuation of the story. And also the whole plot revolves around the biggest hero the planet ever known, a man Ezra Bridger.
You must be 12 or something. Literally the main protagonist outside of Thrawn is a woman. Also Ezra, a man, is Sabine's main focus for returning to her training so she can re-unite with him
@@chazzitz-wh4lyMy all time favorite starwars character and they turned her into a goddamn bland cardboard cutout with no personality completely indistinguishable from any of the other characters...
Darth Maul was saved by the fans. He was supposed to be dead after the fight with Obi-Wan, but his fanbase was why he returned for the Clone Wars. And it was actually some good scenes between him and Obi-Wan.... ah, those were the days. Back when Star Wars had fans.
I cannot believe he actually yelled, “for the Empire!”… and was Ahsoka holding on to her lightsabers the whole time. It just feels so amateur- like middle school play amateur. 😢
@juliebartlett4222 that doesn't really work for his comment as you'll find a enormous amount of women with no interest in Star Wars or women's football. There are some though, so his comment isn't quite right, but your silly meme response doesn't make sense fella.
Whales. Not even joking. Space whales that can naturally enter hyperspace grabbed his Star Destroyer and jumped. (Ezra was on the same ship so presumably finding one will find the other.)
It's not about writing. It's about going through checklists now! Put an adorably weird creature into the movie, so we can sell it as merch? Check! Some guy spinning his light saber, so people have a way of realising that this is supposed to be Star Wars? Check! Chick with multi-colored hair? Check! Did we put in enough dramatic music here and there? Check!
Me seeing Disparu compare whatever the set designers in Ahsoka made to Stonehenge. "He’s Out Of Line But He’s Right". I'm getting great content from Ahsoka keep up the great work Disney.
