@@EnQuestOfficial honestly that's what happens with every media that gets fan theories, I still remember the LOST fan theories were some wild shit. Just think of the simplest, and sometimes worst/most boring, route it could take and that's 90% of the time what the actual writers do.
I called it from the beginning. In a review video on a different channel they had all these crazy ideas about who Marrok could be and what he's going to add to the story. He's Ezra! he's Starkiller! blah blah blah. I said something like "He's just some cool looking masked nobody that'll get killed in the 3rd or 4th episode and no one will care." I was a little surprised at how accurate I was but at this point people who are longtime fans should know how Filoni crafts a story by now.
Sir Greg was confirmed to be a resurrected zombie inquisitor. The current theory is that Elsbeth was the one to resurrect him. When he dies he lets out a scream heard by the dathomirian zombies from the clone wars. The green mist is also a reference from the clone wars witches as well.
He was just a red herring to distract fans from the real reveal in this episode. It was fun speculating on his identity though. The Internet had me convinced it was Ezra.
Yeah, maybe it's because I've watched this fight so much but when Marrok dies it's extremely similar to the Nightwitches' magick wearing off when Savage is killed by Sidious, so I knew immediately he was somehow modified by magick. The fact that he's actually a full zombie is new info for me, but yeah I assumed he was just a cool new character and then when he died I went "ooh Nightsister stuff!"
@@playlistb3795 You can enjoy things but you also need to recognize when something isn't good. So many people acted like this show was terrific because they were blinded by the member-berries Objectively speaking, this show was not great.
@jxchamb by my metrics it is a great Star Wars show. My only complaint is that dialog is treated like a cartoon with poor flow between lines. Everything else ticks all the boxes for me. Excellent growth for our main characters, awesome choreography in the fights that show off different styles, villains who are actual threats to the protagonists, excellent effects and sound design, and payoffs for those who watch everything. The show kept me invested, did it help that they added in nostalgia? Yes, but Anakin's story is so tied in with Ahsoka that it makes sense.
Marrock turning out to only be a Nightwitch reanimation spell was flipping hilarious after all the endless theories about who he was! 😂😂😂 But hearing Anakin say, "Hey, snips,"... 😢😭
I actually got chills watching your reactions to Ahsoka ..WBW.. Anakin. Thank You Guys! Can't wait until we see your reactions to the rest of the season.
That repeated "Oh Sh*brizt*" was everything! And, yeah I do not think Baylon and his apprentice are Sith, or even really full Dark Siders. It is wonderful getting force users outside those the Jedi/Sith dichotomy.
Yeah, I got really high hopes up when Baylon started echoing a lot of Kreia's arguments in a later episode, but I doubt they'll actually dive into that well of philosophy.
YESSSS!!!! YESSS!!!! This is the reaction I've been waiting to see since the episode came out! This is where the fun begins! Ep. 5 is going to be a hell of a ride!
This was easily the best episode of the season. So much happened and everyone got involved. Loved seeing Sabine in full Mandalorian outfit carrying a lightsaber. The fights were amazing. Loved the x-wing scene too. And that ending...
This was a great episode, but also the one where everyone was so disappointed to learn Marrok WASN'T Starkiller! Especially since Galen Marek sounds a lot like Marrok and he hunted Jedi so they could change it easily, and it would have been both of Vader's apprentices fighting each other!😭 Hopefully we get a live action Starkiller soon though!
I remember just instantly welling up when Anakin appeared :'). So glad I get to relive it with you guys. Respect your respect for the union more than can be said ✊
Every episode better than the one before, I really loved this series and I'm so glad to see you enjoying it too. Finally someone who understands Sabine. All the hate she got over the course of the series really disheartened me. People have also been ragging on Rosario's acting (even though she's literally doing the stoic space fighter perfectly) but her intensity this episode (combined with the slow shift over the next episodes) were really well done.
I've been along for the ride with you guys for the last couple years and the looks on both of your faces when you realized she was in the World Between Worlds, and then when you realized it was Anakin, two of the best moments on your channel. Looking forward to episode 5's reaction.
In case Jay has not heard yet, Ahsoka has made her appearance at Galaxy’s Edge. Great reaction guys! I never even finished Clone Wars, and I was shocked & emotional as hell at the ending. Very excited for tomorrow’s reaction to the next ep
Watching this "back then" was emotional enough, but to get to watch you two watch *that moment* brought me all the way back to tearsville. Can't wait for your Ep 5 reaction.
"It's Jay! And Adam! It's pReview'd Ahsoka time!" Great episode reaction guys! 😊 "This where the fun begins." This was one of my favorite episodes. We got an Ahsoka vs. Baylon Skoll lightsaber fight. We got round 2 of a Sabine vs. Shin Hati lightsaber fight. And Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds leading up to the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. 18:56 - 19:39 Jay and Adam's reaction during this scene...perfection! The next episode episode I'd my top favorite episode. Definitely looking forward to that reaction tomorrow. 😊
Just wait. Watched Ahsoka again in prep for you two and one episode in particular had me going - "They are going to lose their s....t!" Multiple times. It's going to be epic. See you there. :)
One of the x-wing pilots is Brendan Wayne.........MANDO 😱😛😋 Loved the shocked/heartfelt reaction hearing.......hey Snips. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ it really got me when I watched it. R.I.P. Ray, you are missed. 😪
"One must destroy in order to create." "NOT ANYMORE! Now we can do both at the same time. According to myth the Earth was created in 6 days. Now watch out, here comes the Force we'll have it for you in 6 minutes!"
I just have to say, I respect you guys so much for deciding to hold on and watch the clone wars first. Your reactions are ten times better and I’m liking, commenting and sharing each time 😂🫶
I got on Patreon just so I could watch this whole season with you guys. Forgot which episode but at around 7:36 on one of the full lengths….. there’s definitely a burp/fart in there lol
Starkiller literally isn't Canon and is only in the game, that's just on you for somehow thinking he's starkiller plus he's way too op to even lose to ashoka and not many even thought that
To disagree with Adam, they aren't SITH, but Baylan has definitely joined the Dark Side. He's a fallen Jedi that has pursued power as a means to an end. Also, I loved Baylan and Ahsoka adapting their styles to each other without trading a blow, just getting the measure of each other.
The nature of Marrok (the masked Inquisitor) will be indirectly explained in the rest of the season, but never explicitly pointed out. The "green fart" can be a valid hint for whoever whatched the Nightsisters arcs in Clone Wars though 😁
I haven't seen all of Rebels, but my son and husband loved it so I've seen just enough to know where Ahsoka is and I LOST MY SH*& when that happened. And next week??? Oofa doofa.
