Funny thing is that what killed Morgan was the fact that she destoryed one of Ahsoka lightsabers. If she did not do it, then Ahsoka wouldnt be able to use her hand to hijack Morgans weapon, leaving her defenceless.
@@leandroroman7053 I hope she won't, because her sacrifice for Thrawn and the Nightsisters (I guess ultimately for the future of the Nightsisters on Dathomir) is a noble end to her storyline. It might also be her way of returning the favour for receiving (what I assume to be) the great honor of wielding the Blade of Talzin.
Dr. Owen McCabe, a surgeon at Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona (and a Star Wars fan), offered his two cents on Sabine's stab wound in a recent Polygon article; in which he said Sabine surviving an off-center gut stab like that (even discounting lightsabers' cauterizing of wounds) was perfectly plausible, given that she recieved immediate medical attention - it's that she was combat-ready again within a day or two that is what's wildly unrealistic. Morgan, however, basically got double Darth Mauled - the blades went clean through her torso; perhaps even the front half of her spine, yet not out her back. A few inches deeper, she'd have fallen to the ground in two. Precluding more long-distance dark majiks from her sisters, she won't be coming back from that. Perhaps not even that; considering the undead Night Troopers must still be able to locomote before they can fight.
@@robynsun_lovedon't try to do the job for the crappy writers. Lightsabers can burn through blast doors and that stab from Darth Emo should have cooked Sabine's guts.
@@heywoodfloyd9bro, the ONLY movie with the blast door scene happens to have a character getting stabbed through the torso in the SAME MOVIE. Qui-Gon CLEARLY doesn’t get anything more than a stab wound. The movie makes it obvious that Qui-Gon is using a special technique with the blade when melting the doors as shown by his focus and twisting of the blade.
They really need to do a better job at making reverse grip look less like a bad hinderance. It doesn't even look like a good defense because the blades are facing the wrong way when the enemies blade is coming straight at you from the front...
Tbh Star Wars fans are honestly the worst. And it’s because they forgot abt how the ot actually is, like the ot isn’t perfect and has a lot of issues but there just blinded by nastalga to not realize that all the issues George has was inherited by filoni, the dialogue is an example, I love the ot but ppl have a different idea of how good production wize Starwars is compared to what it actually is outside of the recent animated stuff. And the mandoverse shows all look good and all feels like Starwars with it’s clunky dialogue
I swear grabbing the hilts of her opponent's weapons and using it against them is Ahsoka's favorite tactic. She's used it to defeat at least three important characters at this point. Maul, the Sixth Brother, and now Morgan
One of the better fight scenes involving woman ive ever seen. These chicks look natural and agile. I had to look up Morgan's actor and her father trained under numerous monks and then followed Bruce Lee to America to teach his style. She's actually the grand daughter of Bruce
Why didn't the Stormtroopers surrounding the fight kill Ahsoka, again? When she killed Elspeth there was nothing stopping them-but they were just gone? I do wonder what Ahsoka is going to do with Talzin's sword, mind. That sword is obviously imbued with powerful Nightsister magics if it can stand up to a lightsabre, but Ahsoka has no knowledge or experience of wielding Nightsister magic at all. Keeping it might not be the best idea she ever had...
It was awesome, can't listen to the Star wars fans right now. They literally complain about everything, the CGI is bad the choreography is bad everything's bad to them. What an insufferable fanbase😒
I mean some stuff should definitely be complained about given it’s from a multi billion dollar company but this show gets some of the most dumb criticisms I’ve ever seen
@@omarbaba9892 yeah ppl say it one of the worst shows, honestly i didn’t think Starwars fans were sexist but some definitely are after seeing some of the complains they had abt this show,
@@tommyfamolare8740 hah yeah, if you want to see what the common Star Wars fan is like then go on the acolyte trailer where most of the complains are that it’s “WoKe” because there’s women and non white people in it
she had death coming, she cheated and sued clones also to help her it seems as ahsoka wanted honest 1v1 but overall ahsoka's training and style of combat was better then morgan.
They could have and should have just blasted her to high hell when Morgan had her cornered on the rooftop. There was no way besides dumb luck and plot armor that she survived.
The lack of force powers in this scene is disappointing, throw in some force pushes at least, maybe some force jumps here and there incorporated into the fight, some witch magic in combat would be cool too. However the fight I would say was good. It had its moments where I thought hmm very well done and moments where it lacked. But overall I was impressed by Morgan’s skills and posses with the talzen sword. Loved the floorwork they added into her fight. Really good. Over all I give this fight a 6.5 or 7 out of 10.
Welp, not i want justify weak side of this fight but this era is past of previous high skilled fighters/users... Somehow i'm excepting that it will be just "melee" fights rather than just force x magic.. Same in future.. I mean if look up on possible disney SW made last GB movies then you know that force users or magic users just degenerates.. Same problem has many franchises or lore in games - that every new generation is weaker than previous one and their power is just fraction of these in "ancient times" (one the other hand if this was animated adaptation, we would be def. see much more intense fight. IRL movies/serials are always limited and not just due to budget..
There is a reason for that: Ahsoka, much like Anakin, relies far too much on her lightsabers. It's a weakness common to Jedi of the era. Their connection to the Force was diminished. Ahsoka is still on her spiritual journey, still working out who she is, so her Force powers are limited. Since leaving the Jedi, she's had to chart her path, figure out her own spiritual quest without a guidebook. That is why her powers are weaker and less fluid than Luke and Ezra. Her chat with Anakin, plus Sabine finally connecting to the Force, may be a sign that Ahsoka is getting closer to learning who she is.
@@Cailus3542I understand your point of view. However, this scene is after she walked through Ahsoka the grey into Ahsoka the white. At this point, she had accepted the past, moved on and chose to live above all that was bringing her down. Therefore, she should be at her full potential now back to her to herself. I just wish Disney would create more charismatic fights like how we’ve seen before in the prequels. I just think is being lazy. However, the fights in Asoka I think I’ll buy far way better than the fights and the sequels. IDE say entertaining rather than impressive and eye opening.
She had her turned over to New Republic custody and knew that Morgan was a acquainted with Thrawn as far back as Mandalorian, so I’m fairly certain Ahsoka knew she was the same person she fought.
Diana Lee Inosanto should have been Ahsoka, but yeah, she's too old (57). Still, her father was a disciple of Bruce Lee, so Diana grew up in the martial arts world, and you can tell that she looks so much more natural, fluid, skilled vs. Rosario (who looks like she's doing a dance routine with sticks).
This is edited, but Sabine fights them and gets their attention, and they rush to fight her, that’s when ahsoka finished the fight and then helped Sabine.
Kindly grow up. Andor is "Disney Star Wars", and it is fantastic. The Mandalorian, latter seasons of TCW, Rebels, Ahsoka, the good bits of Kenobi, Rogue One. All of them are Disney Star Wars.
Oh and very sweet of her to just hand her sword over to ahsoka there at the end so she can get a nice clean cut lol, seriously thought there was 0 resistance there at all 😂 also i cant stop thinking about when the pale girl threw that awful spin kick that ahsoka just watched, she could have just dropped the light saber down like a foot and she would have cut off her own foot..... 😂
I counted about 9 or 10 different instances one of them could've killed the other if they actually made an attack instead of spinning or...just not attacking
Ashoka had to back off the spin kick, also this is why sometimes live action is harder to understand the speed and force of their attacks. Both are forced enhanced atm, what you see is in their perspective, in any normal perspective they are moving hella fast with hella force in their attacks.
@@reheyesd8666looks better than duel of the fates😂 at least the characters look like they’re trying to kill eachother instead of maul slightly tapping qui gon’s blade and that making him run 5 feet into a wall
Duel of the fates had a much better muscial score, actors who actually care about the fight like Legendary Ray park and overall much better choreography @@omarbaba9892
Some Fans cant enjoy anything. You are totally wrong if you think that's a "mid" or slow fight. The Choreographie is really really well done and better than any fight in the sequals. This right here is literally prequal Choreographie.
@@everythinginashorttime2566 You have never done any form of training in your entire life if you think that isn't a slow fight. Comparing it to the sequels shows how weak your argument is considering that they wield lightsabers like baseball in that trilogy.
gawd this show was so fkn mid. And ill blame it on the times we’re in. Whatever illegal bs the GOV did behind the scenes just fucqed everything else. My games/shows/movies coming out so mid.
