@@TheLostArchangel666 And that’s called character development. She went from whiney to one of the most loved SW characters. Luke started out whiney too, as did Anakin. If disney had spent some time making rey a good character, their movies wouldn’t be shit.
That's easily the dumbest thing I've ever ever heard. I'll admit your generation is easily the worse if your in amercia. But we all have problems every human on this planet. Always know there's people that are living 100× worse then you
It's crazy how nobody liked her at first. Now she is one of the most beloved characters in the franchise. She earned her place alongside Anakin, Luke and Obi-Wan which is impressive.
Ashley was actually worried people wouldn’t like Ahsoka and went to Dave Filoni to express her concern. He told her that if Ahsoka was perfect at the beginning, she would have no where to grow. He knew the best thing to do was to grow her as a character.
What nobody thought in the beginning is now true, she has become one of the best characters in star wars. For so many reasons she is just great and although im missing the adequate words to describe it i think the word beautiful gets closest when describing her journey and her story. I also think she plays a bigger role in star wars than many realise.
You may not think of yourself as a Jedi, but you act like one. She is the ideal of the Jedi. Anakin showed her what the Jedi could be and she lived it.
"I am no Jedi." That's Ahsoka's journey in a nutshell. Even many years later, when she met the Jedi of a new generation (Kanan, Ezra, Luke), Ahsoka knew that she was on a different path. She doesn't know where that path will lead, or what she's becoming.
@@Cailus3542 I don't really think that's an accurate nutshell. The Jedi Order she grew up in lost their way so it's more like a declaration that she's not one of the failed dogma. A Jedi's sole purpose is to "Serve the will of the Force" that's it. No code needed. That's why Qui-Gon being a rebel doesn't make him any less of a Jedi (or Grey) and instead means he's one of the few 'true' Jedi left. Malicos: "Restore the Jedi Order? Oh, you poor fool. It's over! Jedi fell long before the Purge. Stifled by tradition. Deafened by our past glories. Blinded by endless war." Cal: "Maybe... but it's never over, Malicos. We stand here now with a chance to learn. To rebuild from our mistakes" Being a Jedi is certainly the best path as a Force user. Whether she believes it or not she's very much a Jedi through her actions Dave Filoni (Her creator): "At the end of the day for Ahsoka, even though she left the Jedi Order, she cannot, in my opinion, deny that she was raised there and it has a profound impression on her; she's going to do the right thing; she cannot just look at people in peril and walk away from it; there's just no way she could do that; it's just not who she is. In the episode arc [Mandalorian S2E5], even though she's not apart of the Jedi Order, she is acting very much like a Jedi." Sorry for the text wall and hopefully I didn't completely misunderstand your point. If I did sorry for wasting your time 😂
@@FireLordIroh The Jedi lost their way. They were tied to the Republic instead of the Force (see; the Jedi Council). Some grew callous and thought it was alright to let people suffer, sometimes in their droves, if it meant they could live and train just one Padawan (see ; Yoda. In the end it was his erroneous doubt over his own Padawan, Luke, which showed us just how much darkness had crept into Yoda's soul. I say this; and I even quite like the wee green froggy elder.
Bravo. if my mom was still with us, she would have loved seeing this cause Ahsoka was one of her favorite clone wars characters. sorry, fighting through tears trying to write this right now. thank you for honoring her in this way. may the force and god's infinite love, wisdom and guidance be with you and yours, always.
"You're reckless little one, but you might not make it as Obi-Wan's Padawan...but you might make it as mine." "I won't leave you...not this time." HFP this video really made me love seeing Ashoka grow up from a child, to a teen up to an adult badass that we all know and love she went from annoying to the most beloved character in the franchise, trained by the best Anakin Skywalker. "Thank you, Master."
I’ve never seen a more perfect fan edit. The transitions the voice other transitions, Ahsoka walking down the steps of the order and then Anakin walking up them… “it’s too late,” while Coruscant goes dark, “younglings? Younglings!” The flashbacks/callbacks/parallels… I cannot stop watching this, and I tear up or cry every single time. This is the best Ahsoka/Clone Wars tribute that exists. Thank you for sharing this with the fandom.
When the clone wars first came out, I hated Ahsoka. I thought she was whinny bratty teenager. Now she’s among my favorite characters in Star Wars. Her character development is on par with, if not better than a character like Zuko. Long live Ahsoka!
Many boys like me growing up said there heroes were Superman, Batman, or Spiderman. But for me Ahsoka was and still is my Hero. I was bullied a-lot for being Autistic and grew up in very political overbearing house. I almost gave up hope but Ahsoka courage, strength, honor, humility, and wisdom got me through my darkest days. So thank you Ahsoka, you save my life.
The weight she holds even though she was made after the originals and prequels is astounding and shows true craftsmanship in writing and it's execution.
You may like Rick Worley's videos then. His prequel videos break down the themes and circular imagery and circles in general . You like find them insightful
'In my life, when you find people who need you help, you help them. No matter what.' The times that we are living in, the world needs to act like this yet they choose not to.. This really portrays who she truly is, she is the definition of what a Jedi should've been. As for you HF, you are one of the best "editors" (such a degrading word for the quality of your videos) if not the best on this platform. It really showcases Ahsoka's path from just another young ling to the best written character in all of Star Wars. 100% worth the wait.
@@jaieregilmore971 Obi-Wan as a jedi was very flawed, espacially during the clone wars. So dogmatic and not a good master. Otherwise i agree, and i will add that i still love Obi-Wan and he’s a great person and character, just not the perfect jedi
@@johna07_83 True but the prequels era shows us the Jedi order is flaw but that okay no order is perfect including the Jedi cause in the end of the day they are people too but if I learn something from Ashoka and other surviving Jedis that they can still change their way for the best because if a Sith like Darth Bane can change the way of the Sith surely a Jedi can do it. As for Obi wan I call him the best Jedi because he never lost faith and never turn to the dark side in the clone wars as for your argument of him not being a good teacher well not for Anakin but if it was someone else it be different.
I cried my eyes out watching this. Just wow. All the transitions and clips intertwined were INSANE. Also, 15:44... That was AMAZING, implying that in that very moment when Vader called out to Ahsoka and she saw his sliced helmet, she also understood all that he went through, all the pain and suffering. I intepreted that scene in the exact same way when I first saw it. Great edit as always.
Ahsoka's theme has become one of my favorites in all of star wars, and has also become more sad to listen to as time goes on. I understand her story, and the tragic fallout between her and her master. I cant wait to see more of her in the future, and a few days from now in Tales of the Jedi.
This is by far the best 22 minutes and 32 seconds I've ever spent in my life by a wide margin. I don't think any other Fandom has a character that is so universally beloved, excluding titular characters like Harry Potter
I'm not crying, you are!!! Jokes aside, this was an amazing tribute to Ahsoka and it makes me so excited for her series! The editing on this video was phenomenal!
It was beautiful. Thank you thank you thank you. She is the reason why I am a Star Wars fans, and she is my favorite Star Wars character of all time. I’m an emotional wreck right now. To Ashley and Rosario, from the bottom of my heart, I love you both and thank you so much for portraying this amazing character. I have loved Ahsoka since I was 9 years old when Clone Wars first came out. 14 years later I couldn’t be happier to see her in live action for the first time in Mando Season 2, Book of Boba Fett, and more to come very soon… maybe in late 2023? Thank you again for all that you both have done. 🧡🤍💙
The best Star Wars character with wits and will. She also has the best character development through the Series and she quickly grew up to her role as a very strong yet kind padawan who can improvise even in the toughest situation she shows repect to clones and droind. She has faith in others and they repay it by helping her. She has proven herself worthy to be more of a Jedi knight than most of the ones in the council. Eventually she has became more than a Jedi, she represents the balance in the Force.
Damn what a perfect summary of Asoka’s journey you really should be proud of this one mate it was very well paced, and was tonally appropriate depending on the music choice. It was definitely worth the wait.
Ahsoka Tano. First introduced to us in 2008 in the Clone Wars movie - back then she wasn’t a fan favourite but through the 7 series of Star Wars the Clone Wars, she went through the most incredible journey, arcs and character development and all of us love her as one of the universally best characters in Star Wars. Trained by Anakin Skywalker, mentored by fan favourites i.e. Obi Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala etc. and having fought and faced many of the most formidable Sith and enemies, Ahsoka has remained strong, never given up hope, become wise and continued fighting. It was so heartbreaking how the Jedi all turned their backs on her and expelled her; Anakin, Plo Koon and Obi Wan were the only ones who still trusted her, but Anakin stood by her more than anyone. While Ahsoka left and was right to and doesn’t call herself a Jedi, she’s more than worthy of being a Jedi and called one and a better Jedi than many of the the great Knights and Masters of the Jedi Order even Mace Windu and maybe Yoda as well. So many that Ahsoka stood and fought beside fell in the war but not Rex, I hope he and Ahsoka reunite in her series. *The Apprentice LIVES* I can’t wait for Ahsoka’s series to be released next year, we all want to see her connect with Anakin; she’s met his son Luke and I’m sure he told her that he found his redemption in the end. I hope nothing but to watch and share in an incredible adventure and story with Ahsoka Tano as I’m sure we all do in 2023. #AHSOKATANO #SNIPS #YOU’RESTUCKWITHMESKYGUY #FULCRUM
Writing for women can be hard. People want to make up for how women were portrayed in the past as simple housewives, and want to make them "strong". But what makes a woman strong? Well as a woman I'll tell you what makes us strong....we aren't Captain Marvel. We aren't Rey. We're Ellen Ripley. We're Elisa Maza. We're Ahsoka Tano. We're Jinx (Arcane). We're Natasha Romanoff. We're Jessica Jones. We....aren't perfect.....Ahsoka Tano and these other women are a masterclass in writing women, because of one reason: they're perfect, because of their imperfections. Writing for women can be hard. But the blueprints are now there to make it easier and easier. There's no excuse now to be lazy with your female characters Hollywood.
The issue with Rey is she would’ve made a good character but they didn’t write her good. That’s why people hate Captian marvel and Rey because they weren’t written good
@@bumblebee_pizza Well,Captain Marvel at least showed us that Carol is able to learn from her mistakes and control herself with some of training, so basically she had some good writing. Rey on the other hand is something like this: Mary Sue character type (learning a lot with a very little training) or being poorly written.
In a universe so full of unique characters and diverse situations, expanding and changing lore, and countless stories to tell, Ahsoka's story has been one filled with every emotion and every extreme. She is still the most relatable, and your touch here really brings it all home.
16:03 I LOVED THIS. you edited anakin's eyes blue to show that in that moment he was in fact anakin and then you put again the original yellow to show that he's darth vader, amazing!!
This is most amazing tribute to Ahsoka Tano who is one of the best development characters in Star Wars and had most amazing journey of being more wonderful character and I am looking forward to her standalone series. Ahsoka Tano may not be Jedi anymore but she still acts like Jedi and Anakin would be very proud of her and the force will be with Ahsoka, always.
@@HeroesFanProductions yeah, no I’m a big Clone Wars fan. Bad Batch seems decent as well. Disney plus somehow made the length of the episodes each 25 min from the normal 22. I have no idea what they added for an additional 3 minutes. Excellent ‘episode’ dude.
Ahsoka is pretty much The Rock of Star Wars. So damn hated with their debut, but over time over shadowing the legends that came before, solidifying themselves as the greatest characters of all time
I only recently started clone wars, so when seeing Ahsoka on The Mandalorian or the others shows... it was cool but not amazing as for others. But now, I'm amazed by the poetry of the star wars universe, and the relationship of Obi-Wan, Anakin and Ahsoka. Really loving the series and the characters.
Watching Ahsoka grow not only as a Jedi but as a person was amazing. How she was when she started, to how she was when the clone wars ended, is a testament to everyone. We all started out similar if not the same and we all grow throughout our lives. Some have guidance while others slowly but surely find themselves. Mistakes, bad times and crazy situations really do define our character and moulds who we become. Some get consumed by darkness while others fight to stay in the light. Great video.
I loved her since I saw her. I know when I told my friends about it, they were often surprised at why I liked this "snarky snot," but watching her grow up, become more mature and form such a deep bond with Anakin, suddenly being accused of betrayal.... her story is beautiful. All of this makes her one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars universe. Rosario has done something amazing by making her now not only an animated character but also a live-action one.
Feels like this got announced a lifetime ago. I can see why this took so long to edit together. Love this channel. Ahsoka has always been in my top 5 characters but that Mandalorian episode cemented her as my favourite.
The transition during the Who I Am chapter at 18:35, with the piano in the background is what brought a tear. Burying the Dead just touches a part of me that’s too deep. Well done, this is beautiful.
Damn it’s hard hitting when it’s a character you’ve cared so much about from the get go like one of your own siblings or kids when you’ve watched them grow and seen them go through hell
This was an INCREDIBLE tribute to the best character out of the animated series. Ahsoka is my third favorite SW character of all time behind Obi Wan and Anakin. I can't believe people hated her at first, and I remember not liking her either, and now I'm literally sobbing with tears running down my face during this video.
"She felt completely... Alone." idk why, but that editing really hit me. All that time after the Clone wars spent hiding, spent as Fulcrum, spent with nobody else.
I cant even begin to express how much this video meant to me. Watching the full story of a beloved character from my childhood laid out before me absolutely broke me down. The flow of the video and how you broke up her story but yet it flow together is just amazing. Keep up the amazing work and take heart in the fact that you are creating the best star wars tributes out there!
I love how an all the scenes where Darth Vader’s mask gets partially broken, They have the blue color with anakin briefly coming to the surface, switching to red as darth Vader pushes him deep down and the hatred burns. In this case it was the eyes. In the Obi wan duel the lightsabers glow.
Wow. That was incredible. It brought everything: memories, moments, feelings, chills, and tears. It's just too good. To present such an iconic character's journey in such a beautiful way. HFP, you've done it again. Hats Off! 👌👍
After watching Clone Wars and Rebels I was convinced that Ahsoka was my favorite character, and you thoroughly captured every essence of her in this beautifully edited 20 min video. Was in tears it was so good 😄😭😭
Ahsoka and Anakins Relationship reminds me binds me of Obi wan and his relationship. It was a perfect duo but they were more like brother and sister than anything and when he fell I felt it I felt It it is possibly one Of the best stories ever written
The wait really paid off, that part where Ashoka was running towards Vader only for him to turn around and fade into Anakin was pure art and brought me to near tears. Your work is phenomenal.
Good lord the emotions I feel watching this. Having basically grown up with Ahsoka, made mistakes, learned and grown into who I am. This tribute is just different. A grand showing as always sir. Thank you for your time and effort.
i only just got into star wars but clone wars specifically in 2021, but ahsoka has made such an impact on me that i am reminded of her in my daily life. ahsoka tano was what helped me through virtual school, and showed me that i am not alone, and never will be, and that even if i don’t think my actions will affect anything, they will, even if i don’t know it. ahsoka tano showed me that people make mistakes and learn and grow with it. ahsoka tano reminded me of so many lessons i had forgotten and helped me when no one else did. i had ahsoka tano when i had no one else. i know that you, the creator of this video that hits too close to home, and you viewers reading this comment, know all too well of what it feels like to show your love for not only star wars, but ESPECIALLY clone wars, and people make fun of it for being “for kids”. being immediately put down as immature for loving these “movies” and “tv shows”. we all know that they’re more than that. these characters are family. AHSOKA is family. because when we needed someone, ahsoka was there for us to experience her tragedies and to make us feel seen. people can say what they want, but i will always and forever know that ahsoka kept me on this earth during 2021. i was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and i don’t know what i would’ve done without her and the clone wars, rebels, and mandalorian. so many people don’t care about anything anymore, but i am so glad you took time out of your days to make this for us. it warmed my heart, and thank you for spreading awareness of ahsoka tano’s story. it was not all over the place, but showed her struggles still. it was wonderful. thank you so much, i appreciated it from the bottom of my heart. thank you. and may the force be with you, always.
I loved this video so much since. Ahsoka’s character development couldn’t have been done better and watching her go through everything is so amazing to see. Great video
Your ability to efficiently convey the entirety of a character arc without sacrificing the emotions involved is unmatched. This absolutely serves as an adequate and worthwhile recap before the Ahsoka show.
Ahsoka's and Anakin's bond is on the level that Anakin had with Obi-wan and always makes me cry how it ended...Her survivor's guilt must be huge and will always blame herself with how Anakin ended up. She probably sees his kills as hers...
It's crazy how at the end of ROTS, star wars had seemingly been completed, the tale was told, and ahsoka didn't even exist, but since then she's become not only a fan favorite, but an essential figure in the story that was written and completed before she was
I think Mando was meant to raise Grogu... Asoka said that since he was gifted. But the path of the Jedi is not always the path of the force. That's something Asoka said first hand. Grogu will live centuries, he will see Mando grow old. But he will have a loving parent who taught him what it means to love, how to fight, it won't sever his attachments like a child loosing a parent. But instead will know how to form new ones. Maybe making a better order.
Ahsoka really was the main character of The Clone Wars. Her and Rex. So this, in essence, in a tribute to the series as well as the character. Neither can exist without the other.
Spectacular. Worth every minute if the wait. Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters in the whole saga and this was yet again an astounding tribute you've made.
