I see all Babymonster members as talented people. And i do believe that Ahyeon's presense makes the group more complete. But in my pov, she does show way too much energy at times. Now this isn't supposed to be a bad thing. But when you're in a group, it is extremely important to maintain the balance. Otherwise, it will at some point make the routine look a bit messy. Though she's a good performer, the (too much) energy she inputs could make some viewers feel weary instead of feeling relaxed by watching her. Its not about being the center or ace. Its about keeping the balance (harmony) in your group and blending with your teammates. As for the singing (screaming) part, I think she does need to have more control. The screaming style may strain her vocal cords and may actually hurt her. She already got good vocals. Just a tad bit more practice. The notes whether high or low should be light for the audience's ears. Her high part at Sheesh is a bit nasally as well. But let's not forget that she's still a rookie along with her team. They'll all improve so much more. READ BEFORE HATING ON MY COMMENT. Even during their training days, the choreographer said she’s the one with the tastiest moves, she knows exactly when to put power behind the dance moves, and that makes her perfect for centre position. And since she’s the professional one, I will take her words, not that of the haters. 🤷‍♀️ What they judge as over dancing is actually how it supposed to be. For a dance to be energetic, one has to put power behind those moves. At least those choreos did needed those kind of energetic moves, to match the beat of the songs. Not her fault if she does her job properly.
